Girls and boys exhibit different patterns of partial imitation behaviors. Girls tend to show aggression in specific ways, such as using a mallet aggressively or sitting on a doll. The aggressive group also displays higher levels of non-imitative aggression. Boys, on the other hand, are more physically aggressive with male models, while girls are more aggressive with female models. Male models have a stronger impact on aggression, and non-aggressive male models are more effective at reducing aggression compared to female models. There were also some interesting differences in partial imitation behaviours. For instance, girls showed more aggression in specific ways like using a mallet aggressively or sitting on the boba doll. The aggressive group also displayed higher levels of non-imitative aggression. Boys tended to be more physically aggressive with male models while girls did so with female models. Male models also had stronger impact on aggression and non-aggressive male models were more effective at reducing aggression compared to female models.
