The speaker talks about feeling overwhelmed and defeated, but they turn to God for strength and guidance. They discuss the importance of putting on the full armor of God and praying for strength and protection. They mention facing struggles and the need to rely on God during difficult times. The speaker encourages listeners to have faith and trust in God, even when things don't go as planned. They emphasize the importance of having a relationship with God and finding hope and renewal in His word. They also discuss the true meaning of Christmas and the love that God has shown by sending His son as a gift. The speaker ends with a prayer for listeners and a reminder to trust in God in the midst of the storm. When the solid ground is falling out from underneath my feet Between the black skies and my red eyes, I can barely see And when I'm feeling like I've been let down by my friends and my family I can hear the rain reminding me In the eye of the storm You remain in control In the middle of a war You part my soul You alone are the angel Who will tear apart your heart Your love surrounds me In the eye of the storm Lord, I come before you today. I lift each and every person up to you, Lord. I ask that you open their ears, their hearts, and their minds, Lord. I want to go directly to your word in Ephesians and pray over each and every person the armor of God. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of the dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground. And after you have done everything to stand, stand firm then with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, and pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fiercely make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fiercely as I should. Lord, I lift each and every person up to you, Lord. I want to give you praise. I want to give you thanks. Without you, none of this would be possible. And I pray all of this in Jesus' name. Amen. Hey there, it's Anna with God's Podcast. I want to say sorry that it's taken me a little while to get a podcast out. I was struggling. I had something planned. I started preparing it. I got everything recorded and it just would not upload. So I don't know if it's the devil trying to get me to not be able to get a word out to you guys or if that wasn't the word that I should have been giving you guys. But as I was sitting last night in frustration, I began to pray and I started feeling something totally different than what I had planned. So I'm going to bring this to you. And this is my notes that I took last night and what I felt like God was telling me. And maybe you need to hear it too. Okay, God, I hear you loud and clear. I am exhausted. I feel defeated in this season and I need you. I am over my limit. I have been pushed down, put aside, and have given and given of myself to everyone but myself. And I know that that is not good. My bucket is depleted and that is not good either for anyone around me, let alone myself. So here I am. I surrender to you, Lord. I hand it all over to you. Lord, I cannot do this alone or by myself. How many of us feel this way? How many of us give and give till there's no more to give? I am with you. I am here telling you. I am in the same boat. But God is telling us. God is telling me, Child, get up. I am here. I am holding you. I am here to help you. I am here to get you up. And he is telling you the same thing. All those of you who are weak, who are weary, I will give you strength. Just like the verse in the Bible says, God is here for us. When you feel defeated, when you feel exhausted, call upon him. 2023 has been a trying year for me. And I'm sure for some of you. But I have hope. I have faith that God is bringing glory for all the pain and all the suffering. And I know God is going to give me the strength, the ability to get back up, to be stronger, bigger, better than before. That devil is going to throw every tactic he can at you to get you to buckle, to get you to give up, to get you to sway to his side, to try to take your soul. But God says, No, don't give up. I'm right here. I'm in the boat with you. Right next to you. Just like in Luke and in Matthew where Jesus walks on the water and is asleep in the boat. He calms the waters. He stops the winds. He stops the storm. He too will calm your storm. He will stop the wind, the raging going on, the turmoil. Don't give up. Don't give in. It's right around the bend. It's right around the corner. I can feel it. Don't give up. God is with you. Have you ever been so angry with God? Have you cursed him? Turned away from him? Thought he wasn't real? I've been there. I've gotten frustrated. You feel like you're stuck, like there's nowhere to turn, nowhere to move. But I'm telling you, God is real. And even in those times, God still wants you when you're yelling at him, cursing at him, when you're angry with him. He still yearns for that relationship. Don't turn away from him. Don't think he's not real. Don't give up on him just because your prayers are not being answered or you're going through some storms. He's there. And he's going to get you through. It just may not look the way that you think it's supposed to look. It just may not be the way that you think it's supposed to turn out. But I'm telling you, God is real. And he is here. And this is the season that you need to give yourself to him, your heart to him, and start trusting in him. Because he wants that relationship with you. This season, he gave us the best gift ever. He gave us his son, his only son, as a gift. Jesus was born this season. And you may be celebrating Christmas for all the wrong reasons, but I'm asking you to open up the Bible because this season, it's going to change everything for you if you do. Your heart will be softened. Your mind will change and your outlook on things will change. You won't see things in the same light. You won't look at things in the same light. God will change that around for you. He will renew you like it says in the Bible. He will renew your heart. He will renew your life. Open his word because that is where it begins. And if you don't like to read, you can listen to the word in the Bible app downloaded on your phone. As a matter of fact, I listened to the angel's view of the birth of Jesus. And if you haven't listened, I highly recommend you do. It's a whole different perspective of the birth of Jesus and how the star, the angel, in the sky brought the three wise men to Jesus and it explains his birth and what Mary and Joseph went through. So yes, I know we hear the story of Jesus and his birth over and over every season, but if you want a different view, download the Bible app and go to the angel's view. You won't regret it. It touched my heart. It brought tears to my eyes because God gave us the best gift ever. A second chance at life. He gave us a son who sacrificed his life for us so that we could go straight to God and talk to him and pray with him and have a relationship with him. He, God, loves us so much that he was willing to do that just for us and show us how much he loves us. So I hope you enjoyed this episode. I hope that you will listen to the Bible app or open God's word and read the Bible this Christmas season and that you celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, not a hallmark version of Christmas. Yes, presents are great. Being with family is great, but celebrate Jesus this season and how much God loves us and what he did for us. So until next episode, keep bibling. Keep spreading God's word. Dig deep in that Bible. Give God a great gift this season. Your heart, your soul, and your life. I thank you for listening and I ask you to share this with someone else who needs God because we all need God in our life each and every day. Thank you and have a great rest of this Christmas season. Happy holidays and may you open your heart to God. Lord, I lift each and every person up to you today. Whatever season that they are going in, whatever they may be struggling with, Lord, whatever storm that they may be in, I ask they be lifted up to you, Lord, that you may be walking with them, holding their hand, or carrying them if they cannot walk. Lord, I thank you and I praise you for giving us the best gift ever, your son. You show us how much you love us. You gave us a second chance and I don't want to take that for granted, so I want to say I praise you, Lord. I thank you and I pray all of this in Jesus' name. Amen. I'm pouring down my faith I find my peace in Jesus' name In the eye of the storm You remain in control In the middle of the door You guard my soul You alone are the anchor In the middle of the storm In the eye of the storm When they let me go And I just don't know How I'm gonna make ends meet I did my best Now I'm scared to death That we might lose everything And when a sickness takes My child away Then there's nothing I can do I only hope I trust you I trust you, Lord In the eye of the storm You remain in control In the middle of the door You guard my soul You alone are the anchor In the middle of the storm Your love surrounds me In the eye of the storm You remain in control In the middle of the war You guard my soul You alone are the anchor When the sails are torn Your love surrounds me In the eye of the storm
