Good morning, this is Cave Beach 88 News at 6, brought to you by Cozy Sheets and this is Anthony Rath reporting CalOptima has announced it is terminating four contracts with community hospitals in Orange County The hospitals are West Anaheim Medical Center, Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center, La Palma Interior Community Hospital, and Huntington Beach Hospital Medi-Cal patients have been told CalOptima will still accept claims when they access the emergency rooms of these four hospitals and will work with those that may need to be admitted through the ER to the hospital itself California Governor Gavin Newsom will be served official recall papers today reflecting a fifth recall attempt of the governor The group leading the recall cited Newsom's attention to a possible presidential run taking priority over addressing California's $73 billion deficit as the basis for the recall Over 1.3 million verifiable signatures will have to be collected in order for the recall to be placed on the November ballot On Sunday, an active U.S. Air Force member set himself on fire in an act of protest outside the Israel Embassy in Washington, D.C.
