New Jersey's Special Education Code allows teacher's aides or paraprofessionals to provide additional support to students with disabilities. This support includes prompting, cuing, and redirecting student participation, reinforcing learning goals, organizing materials and activities, and implementing follow-up activities. Here, we can see New Jersey's Special Education Code, which states that a teacher's aide or paraprofessional may provide supplementary support to a student or students with disabilities in areas including, but not limited to, prompting, cuing, and redirecting student participation, reinforcing of personal, social, behavioral, and academic learning goals, organizing and managing of materials and activities, and the implementation of teacher-designed follow-up and practice activities.
