Don't Give Up Because What You Are Going Through is Temporal

here this morning and you don't have Bible Something fundamental is wrong And those of us who have grown, so grown That we don't have the heart copy any longer It is only our phone that is our Bible God will help you I say God will help you Yes, you can read your phone Bible But most importantly you should have the heart copy And the heart copy should not be for address Just to keep it on your Jesus name 2 Corinthians chapter 2 or chapter 4 please 2 Corinthians chapter 4 We will be reading from verse 14 to 18 From 14 to 18 Knowing that the one who raised the Lord Jesus Will raise us also with Jesus And present us with you For all this is because of you So that grace ascended through more and more people May cause thanksgiving to overflow to God's glory Therefore we do not give up Somebody say we do not give up Therefore we do not give up Even though our outer person is being destroyed Our inner person is being renewed day by day For our momentary life affliction Is producing for us An absolutely incomparable eternal way of glory So we do not focus on what is seen But on what is unseen For what is seen is temporary But what is unseen is eternal May the Lord bless the to your neighbor this morning By saying don't give up Because what you are going through is temporary Alleluia Say neighbor don't give up Because what you are going through is temporary Amen There is no time the scripture has ever denied that man is going through challenges There is no time in the history of man that man has never find himself or herself in one trial, temptation and frustration even at some point in the journey of life For this morning the Holy Spirit is here to say to somebody That thing that you are going through is a common experience that other have gone through And because it is a temporary challenge that is coming your way you don't need to give up To give up means you have surrendered to faith To give up means you never had hope in God and the ability of God to do what He has said He will do For a man who had ever fainted If you have ever seen a man who had ever fainted That man has lost control of the situation And you see people coming around pouring water possibly And this will have affected his psychological comportment It will have also affected his physiological comportment And sometimes it will affect his mental or mental capacity To give up means you have lost hope in God You have lost hope or confidence in God For this morning the Lord is saying to somebody here I don't care what that problem looks like Don't give up Because it will not be long you will return with testimony For one not to give up is an advice It is also a command, an encouragement that Paul was giving to the Corinthian church And as Paul was giving that to the Corinthian church I as a man of God praise over your life I brought an encouragement to somebody this morning That no matter what you are going through for today You don't need to give up Because whatever you are going through It will soon be over And you will return with testimony in the mighty name of Jesus It was Paul that was giving this advice to the Corinthians And by extension to all believers What was their experience like for the cause of the gospel Brother Paul himself went through all kind of suffering Paul went through all kind of humiliation Paul went through all kind of discouragement Disappointment, disgrace, he was beaten Some of you know the story of the encounter of Paul And every other challenges that came his way But at a point in the story or in the scripture we have read Paul says in verse number 14 Knowing that the one who raised the Lord Jesus Will raise us also with Jesus and present us with you Somebody shout Hallelujah I don't know where you are now If Jesus has risen from the dead And one day every of our troubles and wars shall be over And Paul was saying to them I know this assuredly I have this conviction in my spirit man If God will raise Jesus is there And which I know is there with you He will also raise us up Somebody shout Hallelujah What are the things that can make one to give up You see there is much in this world Much in this world That can make someone to do what? To give up Are we talking about health challenge? Are you here this morning? Your heart has never been favorable The medical report at every given time Put fear in your heart The medical report at every given instance After you have prayed You have taken your medication And yet the other things you have expected to happen In the positive and it has never happened I come here as God's servant to declare to you this morning Don't give up Because God who is our healer Will not disappoint you He will heal you of every form of adversity And every form of illness in the mighty name of Jesus What about economic crunch and depression? There is no one that will deny the reality of the time As far as economy is concerned I think this is the time they used to say Even the rich does what? This time Some people all these What do you call them? People used to guess Comedians They came up and said there is no man now who will survive full tank That if any sales girl Sees any man that drives into any filling station And says fill up the tank The sales girl will look at the man very well And if he is not taking As the man is driving up The sales girl will tell the man I am no more working here Let me follow this man home Because the smallest car now If you must fill it up to the brim You cannot use less than 40-45 thousand Am I communicating? And if somebody sees you buy 12 Or 45 thousand at a go Say ah With all these challenges This man can save up 45 That means there is something behind it We are doing our account this morning Myself and my driver The fare we have bought for use in this church for 2 weeks Is 145 thousand For this week And for our weekly program Just for 2 weeks It was dated 26th of last month And 6th of October We have bought 145 thousand Naira That is how hard it is Economically So The rate of domestic gas Has risen Food item has risen I was reading Within the week That the federal government Has raised salary Was it 25 thousand now To 35 thousand Even if they raise it to 75 thousand Does it take care of the challenge we are going through? Be not afraid Father Batu is our Lord Be not afraid Father Batu is our Lord Be not afraid Father Batu is our Lord Be not afraid Father Batu is our Lord He will help me He will help me He will help me To die Be not afraid Father Batu is our Lord Be not afraid Father Batu is our Lord Be not afraid Father Batu is our Lord Be not afraid Father Batu is our Lord Be not afraid Father Batu is our Lord He will help me He will help me He will help me To die Hunger is everywhere now I don't know how many persons Can eat 4 square meal now Or 3 square meal If you are an adult now You are still eating 3 square meal And your children are not eating Something must be wrong fundamentally Hunger everywhere Many are living from hand to mouth Even before the economy Get to this situation Or are you here this morning You are well certificated In your area of career and profession You have all the requisite experience And yet no work No work I was reading an article Yesterday One of the universities in Nigeria That we give admission To only 7,000 Candidates That is the limit They can 7,000 or 6,000 candidates But 23,400 Applied For admission In the same institution But adventure A child was called Beyond the 200 mark Or 180 or 150 He or she Has gotten all the Required schools First credit But the school Has a limit for a particular department And after All the things They say no work, no admission No wonder today We have a lot of glorified Private universities In the name of universities And because our children must go to school We will struggle And put them in one of these schools And I pray That the Lord will help us in Jesus name When you look at your folks And you look at the cost of education In Nigeria You ask yourself Will my children be able to go to work Will they be able to go to school What about Appointments and disappointments The scripture says Confess any man That put his trust in you Amen Many of us before now Have placed our hope and confidence In men And we have been what Disappointed But Paul is telling you and myself this morning Beloved brethren in Egypt You don't need to give up Because that situation That has wearied you That situation that has brought you low That situation that has made you To begin to think whether your God is alive God is saying this morning That situation Is a temporal situation Because it will not be long God will do something That no other person will take the glory Only him alone will take the glory In the mighty name of Jesus Inasmuch we are human Outward man And inner man The tendency to fall Is there with every one of us The tendency to Fright and the tendency To fear is there For the word of God Is saying to you and myself This morning Don't give up Don't give up When you fall You rise up again The scripture says Outward man rises up many times Falls several times And does what? It rises up again When you fall All you need to do is to take note Of what has caused your fall And when you take note of what has caused your fall You rise to move forward again Hear me today It is not a crime to fall But it is an adoration for you to remain there Am I talking to somebody? If you look At our children Especially the younger ones Our mamas They are here If a child falls And you say mama don't look inside What will you do? But if the child falls And the mama begins to say What made you fall? You will remain there You will remain there and say I don't fall, mama carry me But if you don't see anybody to carry you What do you do? Somebody is getting up this morning No matter what has caused your fall No matter what the devil has done To bring you down By the power of the restoration That took Jesus out of the grave That power Is being made manifest Upon your life this morning In the mighty name of Jesus Listen Sometimes when we pray We forget the experience Sometimes when we fall It enables us to acquire more experience Because when situations around us Make us to think that this God is not alive We can say My God is alive My God is alive My God is alive I boast of this God I want you to know That I am serving a living God My God is alive He will never fail He will never fail My God is alive My God is alive My God is alive I boast of this God I want you to know That I am serving a living God My God is alive My God is alive He will never fail Somebody shout hallelujah And that is why When challenges of life come to you As a man There is no need of giving up All you need to do Is to put your hope in God I pray for you this morning That the Lord will make it possible for us In the name of Jesus Listen Proverbs chapter 3 verse 26 Has something to tell us Proverbs 3 verse 26 thank you For the Lord Will be your confidence And will keep your foot From his nail For the Lord Will be your confidence Not man Not your job Not your uncle But the Lord will be your Confidence And keep your foot From his nail Translation please Give me another translation For the Lord shall be your confidence Firm And strong And shall keep your foot From being caught in a trap Or some hidden danger Somebody shout hallelujah How will the Lord be your confidence If you have not accepted Jesus As your Lord and personal Savior For the Lord To be your confidence You need to have an encounter With him You need to accept Jesus As your Lord and personal Savior And surrender your life Totally to him And when you have Surrendered your life totally to him He will be your confidence And you will be firm And you will be strong And he will keep your foot From being caught In any trap of this world I pray that the Lord will make it possible In the mighty name of Jesus Brethren We have hope of eternity And we are resting On the everlasting hand Of this most high God And that is why No matter what is happening Around you Oh I used to like and enjoy The encounter of Jesus with the disciples When Jesus And the disciples They were on a journey The scripture says Jesus did what? Slept all in the boat And there was a posturous wind That is the way old king James would call it A very storm A very great storm That was even driving The boat And the man was busily sleeping And snoring And the Bible went to him Olga with all that is happening Around us You are here sleeping Do you hear that we perish But when the master rose And I believe God is going to rise For somebody here When the master rose All the master did was to say Peace be still And my Bible says There was calmness Every storm of life Terrorizing your marriage Terrorizing your business Terrorizing your career By the power that is in the word of God Peace be still In your marriage peace be still In your career peace be still In your business Peace be still Whatever the devil Has planned against your life We stand on the revelation of the word of God This morning To say peace be Still And there was calmness everywhere Because the Lord of hosts Has spoken and that is why If you make Jesus your Lord He has the capacity And he has the ability And audacity to say to everything That's around you to be still And it shall be so In the mighty name of Jesus Listen The confidence that Paul had In God Realize all that we are going through Today And Paul was saying Whatever we are going through now Is a life affliction Somebody praise the Lord You know that is the way Somebody is going through challenges And you over Emphasize it You will exaggerate it And the way Some people talk I see some other persons I have not gone through such things Before That man or woman you are talking to Or you are bringing your situation through If you open up to you You will close your own and you will run away Am I talking to somebody today And Paul We thought that Paul was going through We thought the suffering We thought the humiliation We thought the discouragement We thought the patron and whatever Paul said this I just want a light affliction And this affliction Can never be compared With the glory that is coming I don't care who you are In this world today and I don't care What you are going through In as much as you are a child of God And you have hope of eternity What you are going through Can never in any way be compared With the glory that is awaiting us There is a glory awaiting Every child of God Who can live for God in this world In this world you will have tribulation But be of good cheer For I have overcome for you Somebody shout Hallelujah You don't need to give up You don't need to give up You don't need to give up Because what you are going through now Is temporary Praise God Praise the name of the Lord Amen In the scripture Who never gave up In the challenges that came their way I will just mention one or two because of our time One is Paul that we are talking about today He went through a lot For the sake of the gospel But he didn't give up And he said it clearly That what he was going through then Is for a period of time Oh my God I pray for somebody that this morning The Holy Spirit will minister to you A way out of that situation In the name of Jesus Listen As a man I like studying I like looking at his life again and again In the scripture I have some personality in the scripture I admire greatly One of them is Isaac The scripture recorded You know the story Who the father Of Isaac was And You know what happened When Abraham died If the creature is what To whom Isaac And the scripture says During the time of Abraham there was a famine And the scripture recorded in Genesis 26 That there came up another famine In the time of who Isaac By my own interpretation I perceived That everything that The father of Isaac Handed over to him Ended in that very Challenge of famine But that man called Isaac Did something He never allowed the famine to To weigh him down He took up a challenge The scripture says He went and dug He went and dug and dug The first was Where Essek They fought with him They closed it He went To the next place That one says Sitna The other one Struggled with him and closed it Did the man give up Did the man give up The scripture says Isaac left the first place He moved to the second one He left the second one and moved to where To the third one Because he refused To give up At the third point When he dug The scripture says There was an outflow And Isaac said To the people Rehoboth Somebody say Rehoboth He says For now The Lord Has made room for us And we shall be fruitful in the land The place He has been That he has been fighting with him But because he refused to do up To give up I don't know the challenge you are facing in that business And you are thinking of what Of giving up I want to say to you as God's servant Whatever that business is doing now That your expectations are not yet met I want to say to you Don't give up Because that business Will be a means of God Lifting you up That business will be a means of God Telling the whole world that he has not changed Oh when this man cares for this one He says Rehoboth For the Lord has made room for us And we shall be All fruitful in the land In this month of Divine expansion Nothing will stop your fruitfulness If you are the one I'm talking about Let me hear you believe in him I say nothing will Stop your fruitfulness In the mighty name of Jesus For now For now The Lord I don't know what has ever been before But somebody will testify That in the year 2023 For now, for this time The Lord has visited my family The Lord has intervened in my situation The Lord has done something That no one else can do In my family And that will be our testimony in the mighty name of Jesus Amen What about Nehemiah Nehemiah refused to give up There were Opposition Opposition everywhere Sam Ballard and Tobiah They said no No No No No No No
