I'm your host Nubia, local astrology nerd, and here's what you can expect from me on this podcast. For the most part, I intend to share insights about how you, the listener, can apply astrological concepts with a practical and holistic approach to help level up regarding self-worth, career and income. This framework allows for flexibility because I want to leave room for inspiration. And I want to just go back and focus on what do I mean by holistic. Let's define that, shall we? Read the definition. Holistic, characterized by comprehension of the parts of something as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole. In other words, with regard to astrology, we're more than our sun sign. And it's important for us to take into account the totality of who we are in order to focus on those areas that I described, which were self-worth, career and income. Make sense so far? Stay with me. I don't even know why I just asked, does that make sense? Because sometimes I really get irritated when people ask me, does that make sense? I'm like, okay, anyway, it has just become a part of our culture. Does that make sense? Okay, so while I will not be teaching astrology per se, still, I intend to use my skills as a technical writer, because that's what I do in my day job. I help simplify complex ideas and explain them in a manner that's simple to understand the way I just broke down the term holistic. So I intend to use those technical writing skills to help us gain insight on information that's already out there. And let me just point out, when it comes to astrology, yeah, there is a lot of information out there. What I'm doing is, I intend to use the insights gained from what I've learned in order to bring about impact in our lives, okay? There are no prerequisites required to listen to this podcast. It may help if you have a curiosity about astrology or leveling up and you've already done everything you know how to do, and you still haven't experienced that growth that you want. So if that's something that you're interested in, join us on this journey as we go beyond the sun to level up. Okay, let me share a little bit about me. As I mentioned, I'm a technical writer by day. I help write manuals that you all don't read, okay? I'm okay with that because Gemini, Mercury rules my sixth house of daily work, and I'm okay with just doing the thing and moving to the next thing. So if y'all don't read it, that's on you. Your bookcase will be coming out with no sides to it and only shelves, because you didn't read what I wrote. Okay, moving on. I went from an astrology nerd only to becoming my own astrologer. I spent time with a very great teacher whose information I'll have available for you. And I really appreciate how the person who I learned from helped me become my own astrologer and that that was the point of the program and the course, to become my own astrologer. And that's very empowering. So basically, I went from just being an astrology nerd to being an astrology nerd and being my own astrologer. But that's not what you have to do in order to level up. You don't have to become an astrologer to level up in your career and your income and self-worth. I became my own astrologer and put my knowledge to the test by applying what I learned in the most basic way, and I leveled up my earnings. At one point, I had not earned more than $60,000 per year as a whole auntie, okay? As a whole auntie. So I went from being unfulfilled and earning less than $60,000 a year to being a more fulfilled version of myself with a chosen career. I learned how to value myself more in all areas of my life by becoming my own astrologer and going beyond my sun sign. And by going beyond my sun sign, I strategized my way to having more freedom of choice. I now get to help others who are in similar situations that I was once in, that I once found myself in, and I get to be a coach to them. So that's a little bit about me, but the purpose again of this podcast, what I intend to do and just a little other part about me. I have had an affinity for astrology ever since I was in the fifth grade, and I have a strong passion for sharing my insights, and that's why this podcast is in motion, because it has moved me beyond my apprehension, and it has moved me beyond my fear. My passion for sharing my insights moved me beyond my fear, because there's a psychological aspect about it, me being a Scorpio sun. I want to go deep into the origin of something to know why people are the way they are and how to help people transform into a better version of themselves. So finally, I want to reach more people and inspire more people to be their own guru through learning about themselves. That's a lot of that Pluto influence. So I've given you a hint about my big three, in case you're wondering. The big three meaning, what is my sun sign? What is my moon sign? What is my rising sign? I am a Scorpio sun, Taurus moon, and Capricorn rising. And I think that really speaks to my desire to want people to transform using a practical approach and aspire to a more fulfilling experience in life and having a greater sense of self-worth.
