Kate from Gould by Design showcases surprising Restoration Hardware look-alikes from Walmart's new spring line. She demonstrates various ways to style these finds, such as using wider bowls for fruit storage, adding decorative items to tabletop planters, using a planter saucer as a soap dish with added height, and repurposing a plant stand as a magazine rack. Kate encourages viewers to like, subscribe, and share their favorite finds and styling ideas in the comments. She asks for opinions on who won the style off between Walmart and Restoration Hardware. Hi, I'm Kate from Gould by Design. Today I'm going to show you some surprising restoration hardware look-alikes off of Walmart's new spring line, like this rattan chandelier. I'll also show you some different ways to style these finds in your home that may surprise you. But before we get into it, please don't forget to like and subscribe. Our first find is this tabletop planter. I love the color and this footed ritual bowl on our H had a similar look. I love to use these wider bowls because I use them to store fruit on my kitchen table, although the fruit doesn't last long with the kids. Make sure to give it a good clean first too if you're using it for food. You could also put other decorative items in there as well. I did these glass balls if you want a more beachy theme. I also styled them with candles and some moss for pop of color and more romantic look. These are usually used for live succulents because they have the drain holes at the bottom, but really the sky's the limit. You can use your imagination. This one is another great find. The navy and blue pattern look never go out of style. I added some bright color moss for an organic earthy field. The look-alike I found was on Ballard and they have a ton of different items, but obviously at a higher price point. You can add flowers, any type of flowers to this pot and really anything's going to look good. Our next find is this planter saucer for about $3. It looks so similar to the travertine bowl on RH and here's a fun way to use it as a soap dish and just give it a little more height. I have these knobs I bought for another project from Joanne's. So I first painted them. You can use any acrylic white paint. I had white chalk paint so I used that as a base coat. I then added a rough brown color I had laying around. I mix the brown and the white and I use the sponge to apply and just dab it super lightly. Dab the paint on all around it as even as you can get and then try and mix up the colors so you get a little more brown on one side and then a little more white and keep adding paint until you get the look you want. Let it dry and then do another round until you're happy. I then put E-6000 on them as well as my hot glue gun so that they would adhere immediately and hold strong and there it is super simple. You can put it in your bathroom or your kitchen. This next find was a planter. I love the color and the detail on this. I actually like it more than the Restoration Hardware Planter. I added some flowers to it and just styled it on a cutting board but that would look good anywhere. This is another one of my favorite finds. It's a great color. I love that moody gritty coloring. It really goes with anything. You can put it anywhere. Fill it with flowers for pop of color even in your living room or bathroom and use it as a tissue box because it's still winter and there's so much going around so we constantly have the tissue boxes out so I'm so happy to find this. This was a really cool plant stand that I found. West Elm actually has a lot of these look-alikes. It was super simple to put together and it can go in any room because it's black and everyone needs one black thing at least in each room. I needed it to be actually a magazine rack because I want it to be a little bit higher. They're always on the floor in baskets and they get dusty so that's how I ended up styling it. So you can use it obviously as a plant stand or you can even store blankets or wood logs in there. You don't put too many because it doesn't take that much weight but really the sky's the limit with this. So you guys that is it. Please remember to like and subscribe and you have to let me know which was your favorite spring find and how you end up styling any of the finds in your home and you've got to let me know in the comments who do you think won this style off Walmart or Restoration Hardware. Thanks again for watching. I'll see you guys at the workshop.
