Unfortunately, this would be his last deposition. On Saturday, March 2, 2024, 62-year-old John Barnett arrived at the Holiday Inn in Charleston, South Carolina. He checked into room 511 with his wallet, clothes, laptop, and other belongings. Barnett had come to Charleston to challenge Boeing's countless violations of U.S. law and court that compromised the safety of Boeing's 787 Dreamliner and 737 MAX aircrafts. However, little did he know that this would be the final deposition of his life.
