In the Bible, Adam had three sons - Cain, Abel, and Seth. Cain and Abel offered different sacrifices to God, and God favored Abel's sacrifice. This angered Cain, who killed Abel. God punished Cain, making him wander the earth without being able to grow crops. God also placed a mark on Cain's head to protect him from harm. Cain's descendants were mentioned, including Jabil, Jubal, and Tubal-Cain. However, after this, the focus shifts to Adam's son Seth. How many sons did Adam have, you might ask me? Well the Bible seems to mention a total of three. Seth was the third. There were two before. Or that's the version of the story in Genesis 4. It tells of Cain and Abel. Abel and Cain. One offered God meat. The other gave grain. God liked the meat better. The Bible never explains why. But Cain felt dissed and started to cry. Took his brother to a field. Stabbed him in the head. World's first act of murder. Abel fell dead. His blood cried out from the depths of the ground. God heard it up in heaven. It rushed straight down. Said, what'd you do, Cain? And where's your bro? Cause he sees everything, but pretended not to know. Now Cain was already in deep, but he dug his hole deeper. Said, what am I, God? My brother's keeper? God said, ha ha. Not funny, little dude. You killed your only brother, and I don't like your attitude. From this day forth, you will wander around, and you'll fail to get crops to come out of the ground. Cain said, yo, God, this is too much to bear. I can't just go wandering around out there. Other people might find me, and hurt me real bad, even though the only men should be me and my dad. God said, don't worry. I got your back, bro. You'll be okay wherever you go. I'll put this mark right here on your head. If anyone kills you, they're good as dead. So Cain stayed alive, and racked up some dependents. Six generations later, these were his descendants. Jabil lived in tents, and raised lots of cattle. Jubal crafted flutes, the harp, and the rattle. Abel Cain alloyed bronze, and worked iron too, which makes total sense, cause it's easy to do. But that's all we hear about Abel and Cain, and the rest of the book, they're not mentioned again. Sure, it tells of Cain's curse, and of Abel's death, but in Genesis 5, Adam's first son is Seth.
