Today is our class cooking day. Early in the morning, we went to the school kitchen. We divided into groups and each group had a teacher who taught us how to cook Chinese dishes. The teachers were from different parts of China and were all skilled cooks. Teacher Chen, from Sichuan, taught us how to make Mapo Tofu, which was spicy and sweet. Teacher Wu, who grew up in Beijing, made dumplings that were both visually appealing and delicious. Teacher Zhang, from Shanghai, taught us how to make Braised Pork, which had a good color and a sweet taste. Teacher Lu taught us how to make a vegetarian dish, which was light and tasty. While cooking, we also spoke Chinese. After eating, we watched a Chinese movie. We had a pleasant day. 今天是我们班的做饭日。 一大早,我们就到了学校厨房。 我们下饭,饭上了几个小组。 每组有一个老师教我们做中国菜。 来自中国各地,都很会做菜。 陈老师是四川人,他教我们做了一个麻婆豆腐。 又甜又热。 吴老师在北京长大,最会搞饺子。 他搞的饺子又好看又好吃。 张老师是上海人。 他教我们做了一个红烧肉。 颜色好,味道甜,因为我和大卫都吃吃。 陆老师教我们做了一个素菜,又清淡又可口。 大家一边做饭,一边说中文。 吃了饭以后,我们还看了一个中文电影。 我们过了愉快的一天。
