Hello and welcome to the All Gen podcast. Our guest today is Alex Cunningham. He is a NASA astronaut with passion for astronomy and helping the world receive a better understanding for what the world and what we need to expect. Welcome to the All Gen and today's podcast is sponsored by NASA. NASA is a company that explores the space, giving the world an image where you can imagine what space is really like in their exhibitions. They're going to share with us why more funds should go towards space exploration. Once again, I'm Alex, an astronaut for NASA Australia. Thanks so much for joining us today, Alex. Thank you, Levi. Although space exploration is still extremely expensive compared to the average worker who lives an average annual wage, the money expended for space exploration is overestimated from the real cost. NASA uses 0.5% of the US government's budget to create amazing and advanced technology with the best scientists. We must consider if human civilisation benefits from a wider range of knowledge on space and its phenomenons or more recent issues should be prioritised. All of this is backed by NASA's evidence on how they use their money for long-term presence on the Moon, further investigations into the solar system, investing money into technology to use on Earth and finally, money into projects and exhibitions for the public to invest their time in. For more information, search for nasa.gov.au. Thank you, Alex. Now for a couple of questions. Alex, with your expertise of astronomy and your connections, do you know anyone that could speak with us who's in the NASA space station right now? To answer your question, Dan, I do have a couple of fellow workers in the space station right now. One of his name is Dr Rondog in a common lab right now. Hello, the old gen podcast. Once again, my name is Dr Rondog, but you can just call me Ronnie. I believe that the money should go towards space exploration for more funds so we can explore and clear up more wonders of what's out there in space. Right now, we are in a dilemma since we are trying to use all of our profits towards finding the wonders, but it's hard since we have restrictions with leaving the station and technology in the suits. Finally, the money will help us dramatically to solve everyone's thoughts on the wonders of space. If you want to read more about life on the International Space Station, search up NASA Living and Working in Space. Thank you, Doctor. That was very informative. All good. Thank you for having me. Bye. There you go, folks. That hopefully answers your question, Professor Rondog, is now going to explain to us why the mass amount of carbon emission may result in necessity of space exploration. The rapidly growing population has a drastic effect on our planet's supply of pollution, resulting in the Earth becoming slowly inhabitable. Although a large amount of money should be spent on global warming and the potential of overpopulation and harsh living conditions, a lot of money should be spent on space exploration to benefit our future. Thank you for listening to the pod episode and tune in to the one on Thursday since we will be talking about how the solar system works and how the seasons go by. Thank you.
