The Time of the Sun and Moons

In all of existence, there will be two times when all celestial bodies align, marking the start of a new era. The first equinox happened 3,000 years ago and brought magic and technological advancement. The second equinox's timing is unknown, but it is believed to bring the end of everything. Dates are measured from the first equinox, which happened 3,000 years before the current year. The equinox is also called the time of the sun and moons, as Eru's sun and two moons aligned during the first equinox. Twice, in all of existence, all of the celestial bodies will align, signifying the start of a new era and a time in which the bounds of reality can be redrawn. These are the only spoken words recovered from the mouth of Arminian, the god of ends and beginnings, and regarded as absolute truth. The first equinox came and went three thousand years ago, and it brought with it the dawn of magic, the creation of the weave, and the start of a new civilized age where man began to organize and seek technological advancement. It is theorized that the second equinox's time and place in the universe is unknowable to all but Arminian, and will bring with it the end of all things. Dates in Eru are measured from their distance before and after the first equinox. Arminian history only goes back circa three thousand years before the equinoxed, three thousand B.E., and the campaign is set in the year 2462 A.E., after equinox. The equinox is sometimes referred to as the time of the sun and moons, as the three largest celestial bodies visible to the naked eye are Eru's sun, Solus, and its two moons, Aurea and Vero, which were the first planetary spheres to align during the first equinox.
