Hello, my name is Denzel Bright, and this is my virtual panel presentation. The topic that I want to discuss is, should there be less violence in spectator sports? The positives and the negatives. The positives for taking away violence in spectator sports are safety for participants, positive role modeling, increased enjoyment and entertainment, and also long-term in sports. Now the negative side of taking away violence in spectator sports are decrease in intensity and passion, the impact on tradition and history of sports, and also creates boredom. When creating safety for participants and spectators, reducing violence in sports can promote a safer environment for athletes and fans. You should also have a team of security that consists of 20 people that can be dispatched where problems are most likely to occur and prevent future violence. Cutting off alcohol sales at a certain time for safety for participants and spectators can prevent intoxication of young fans that could eventually cause problems. Tech support is also important because it can capture incidents that happens in stadiums to prevent any future violence. Sports promote health, giving kids an opportunity to be active and social. So when kids look at their favorite athlete to see how they promote positive social health, they're looking for good sportsmanship and them being responsible in behaving in games. When you take away violence in sports games, it allows the viewers to enjoy the game and watch. Creating a peaceful environment such as a garden, greenery, flowers, can make a calmer environment and can also decrease the chances of a violence outbreak. Having dining tables and benches for people to sit can increase enjoyment and entertainment, allowing the viewers to watch the game with no interruptions. When you take away violence in spectator sports, it promotes long-term sustainability. So decreasing violence from sports spectators can promote a safe environment for everyone. Safety for athletes, safety for other spectators, and also allow fans to enjoy the game they love. When you look at the negative side of taking out violence in a game, it decreases the intensity and passion and also affect the entertainment, which can cause less spectators to watch the game. Having controlled aggression and intensity adds to the excitement of sports, making the sport event more enjoyable. Eliminating violence can lead to reduced passion in sports, making the sport event less dynamic for spectators, making it very boring to watch. Taking away violence out of spectator sports can also impact tradition and history. Violence in sports has been a part of history for many years and taking it away could affect the tradition of sports. Fans who love the game would not like someone taking away controlled aggression because that adds to the entertainment of sports itself.
