Nothing to say, yet
Dante Cinferno, a human ranger, shares his background as an orphan and the tragic deaths of his parents. His mother, a tiefling sorceress, died in a cave accident possibly caused by a dark figure. His father, Rueck, searched for his wife and encountered death. Dante was taken in by Oliver Sinferno, who raised him and taught him archery. Dante inherits a necklace from his parents, which holds the ability to transform into a wolf. However, he cannot unlock its power. He travels as a protector and meets Nemea and Reed, joining them on their journey. Dante feels at home with his new friends and is willing to protect them at all costs. Hello? Hello? Is this thing on? Oh, hi, hello there, my name is Dante Cinferno. Take a trip with me on this crazy chaotic road as I tell you a little about myself and my dark past. I am a human ranger who does wonders with a bow and arrow, when I remembered to open both eyes. I was born in a little town of Arden Lane, also, in case you haven't guessed, I have a great sense of humor. I always try to get a smile out of anyone or anything. Sometimes it's kind of lame. My jokes really suck, but I do the best I can, and I try my best. So here's a little back story on me and my parents. Oh, did I not mention? Probably an orphan. Yeah. Both were gone when I was a young boy. I know, right? Tragedy at the beginning, never saw that coming. So my mother, Kairi Rose Darkshadow, was a wonderful, wonderful tiefling sorceress who had amazing abilities and gifts. Unfortunately, while her and my father were out on an adventure, she died in a cave accident. Well, it looked like an accident, but my father had told a friend a story once, that he saw a black, dark figure in the cave, standing over her body after the accident. Not so much as an accident now than a murder, huh? Oh, yeah, my father. His name, Rueck the Rotten, at the time had searched for his long lost love in an effort to bring her back. Yeah, he could do that, I think. After years of searching for clues and answers, he finally realized the dark figure was death that had taken his wife. So he had set out to find death and make him pay for taking his one and only true love. Unfortunately, I never really said if my father died. It's not ever known if he's dead or if death took him as a prisoner. So in a little town of Dresden is where I was taken in by an older man who knew my parents and raised me as his own. His name, Oliver Sinferno. I was young when my mother died, and when my father set out on his journey to find death, he decided to leave me with Oliver to take care of me while he was gone. Guess he forgot to come get me. But as I grew up, I ended up adopting the man's last name and became Dante Sinferno. Oliver was a wise older man who knew the ways of being a ranger and was a master archer with a bow and arrow. He never missed. But I never really saw him as a father figure or brother or anything, more of an uncle. An old, wise uncle. I've heard this story before. Anyway, as a boy, I showed a tremendous amount of potential and was quite adept in all of the skills. When I was older, I was told the stories of my parents by Uncle Oliver, and even after I was old enough to understand what had happened, he gifted me a necklace. Once worn by my mother, then in the end by my father, and then yours truly get to pass down. The necklace is a silver chain with a pendant on it, and it has a wolf engraved in it. Although I could never really understand what the pendant stood for or what it was capable of, and what other secrets were within, I was told the story of how it was actually first my mother's. She, as I said before, being a well-versed sorceress tiefling, embedded her ability to turn into a wolf at any given time into this necklace. Her wolf form was this most majestic white wolf with blue eyes. It was a sight from what I heard. But unfortunately after the tragic accident that led to her death, my father, Rueck, harnessed the power of the necklace and ended up turning it into a locket, where he locked the ability of my mom's wolf form into a pendant that he could use on his own. But because of the loss of my mother and the accident, his aura was dark and full of hatred, which resulted in the wolf form being as black as night with bright red eyes. It's also said in that form sometimes he couldn't control the hate and anger, and ended up being evil, full of blood, hatred, lust, of finding his love. In the end, it was brought down the line to me. However, to me, all it is is just a trinket. I have no ability to open it or use it or anything. I've tried, but I can't, not yet anyway, I hope. When I came of age, I went out into the world to serve as a protector. Sadly, as I was leaving, is when my uncle passed away, leaving me alone in the world again. I traveled worldwide, offering my services as a protector to those who would pay for him or needed the help. While I may be young, I believe I am a capable fighter. I have learned much from my uncle as a mentor, and I'm sure to learn more as I travel abroad. Along my journey, however, I travel alone. One day, while in a desert area around the sands of Syria, I came across this big, bright light that came out of nowhere. Over the hillside, I saw these funny little figures that were sitting in the sand, like they'd been in a big battle. I come to find out that one of the travelers, Nemea Nightshade, and a little fiery ball of furry named Reed, were needing some help to travel along on the road where they were going for some lost homes of some sort. And being the gracious person that I am, I offered my assistance. With little known about the group, I traveled with them, hoping I could help as best as I could and not be alone, because traveling alone is boring. You can't talk to anybody but yourself. So far, these travelers do get into a lot of trouble, and I mean a lot of trouble, but who better to help them out than an archer ranger with some witty banter? Yeah, they have no idea who they became friends with, but for the first time since I left and my uncle passed away and my parents have been gone, I feel at home with my new friends. I trust them. I will follow them to wherever I need. And whatever you do, don't ever put a dragon booty hole between me and my friends. I'll put an arrow through it.
