How are you going to achieve the unknown? Think about it like that So Like I just wanna talk a little bit about my goals for a little bit Just a little bit I'm not gonna take up too much of your time You know, we got a good show for you today talking to y'all So Basically a little example of my little goals this year I just want to Express and Emphasize That it's a new year But the same me New goals New mindset New execution Alright New execution being that I have figured out a way to get my time management Together And I just figured out a way to Consolidate my tasks Into Digestible time periods where I can Actually accomplish things during the day because I forget I'm a father now y'all I'm a father I'm a daddy To a 7 month old baby And he just started learning how to crawl So he is He is What I can Only say Is a handful A scootin bootin handful Because he just be Going everywhere And at the speed of I didn't know which was possible Honestly like I'm just sitting there I turn my head for one second He across the living room Turn my head for another second He is All the way to the front door Like I'm just I'm just shocked I don't First of all I feel like he's advanced I'm grateful that he's able to do this At such a young age Because my sister's babies weren't crawling At this time That's really all I have to go off of I don't know very many babies In the world Besides my own and my My nephews and my nieces So I got quite a few so But Yeah I just It's a lot The time management With my relationship With my girlfriend and And my baby My family pretty much My family relationship And work You know I work at nights but Your boy be tired Your boy be tired Okay I don't know what it is about this This Mid-twenties Thing going on but I can't stay up like I used to Your boy needs a nap in the middle of the day I'm sorry to say I need at least three hours before I go to work And spend all night But We accomplished a lot of things in this last year And I don't want to I don't want to just Skip past them you know I want y'all to also Celebrate the things that you did accomplish this last year I mean because it couldn't have been all bad Y'all had to do something Even if it was as little as Going to work every day And getting that check That full two week check You didn't call out You didn't You weren't late You got the full amount of money Because they know Ain't nothing like having a Short check because of Some bullshit that doesn't happen I had that actually last check My check was a little bit short because I was Going through some bullshit But you know Not this check This check is going to be different Alright Basically What I'm trying to say is Count your successes As much as you count your failures Because Those are more important anyway Your successes are going to Propel you To have more success Because you're going to remind yourself Oh I can do this This is something that I can do So A couple of successes for me this year was I successfully Got another high paying job Which I'm very grateful for And It was kind of on the timeline I was kind of on Some short notice last minute shit Because I had a week to get the job Because The situations in my life Needed me to Make more money and I just Was struggling for a little minute there I was trying to find a job and it took me about Two months to find it because people kept Dragging me around and you know This this and that playing the run around game Basically And I found this job at Whole Foods And I was very grateful I got in there I really can't say nothing but God It's not but Him I give Him all the glory I have nothing to do when I have my successor But I also put in the work to get that job I was going night and day Day and night On Indeed, the application after application I was specifically trying to find Something that was not in Food industry I wanted to get into retail Grocery, something easy that I could do The only that I know what it actually entailed It's still one of the easiest jobs That I've done Everything comes with some bullshit The grass ain't always greener Pretty much You always going to have some resistance in your life When it comes to anything Honestly That being said That was one of my successes this year Another success would be That I created my plan For this coming next year And it was very more Intricate and detailed So It kind of Encompasses all of the Categories of Things that I want to get accomplished And things that I want to do My hobbies Just when it comes to my music My comedy My writing now I want to incorporate all those things Into this year And as you can Like Sometimes I don't know if y'all Have noticed but time seems to be Fleeting away from us The older we get I don't know if y'all have The same 24 hours I do but Seems to be like I can't even Enjoy the full 24 I done lost Time and I don't know where it's going So I done tried To create a plan To where I can Get that time back and hold on to it For a little bit longer But mostly Just having the ability To Create such a plan To execute the plan Pretty much A plan within a plan within a plan If you will I just I just needed to find a way To not waste time Cause I felt like I was wasting so much time Doing what I was doing And not saying I was I mean I was living my life And I mean It's the best way I know how But I needed to find a way to be more productive With my time To accomplish the goals I want to accomplish I got a whole Online presence I need to build I got a whole Like 7 channels And 3 podcasts I need to do It's just I got a lot on my plate that I want to do And it takes a lot To do a lot So Time Was kind of kicking my ass with that But now I got a plan baby and I'm about to execute it With the most prejudice I can So that being said Another one of my goals was To get some health insurance Because being That I work overnight again And doing a lot of lifting And stuff I don't know I thought I was going to be Mr. Tough guy I thought I was going to be able to handle it but My body The way my body told me That I need some help It was crazy I was working In that aisle In them aisles I would say Doing my thing Unpacking the product Putting it on the shelves What not And my back Literally Tensed up And told me That I need to stop Basically I felt like my Motherfucking back was growing wings Or something it was just so inflamed And just the pain Was so intense it was just Crazy I don't know what was going on with me but It was a whole ordeal I mean I had to figure out how to navigate Through that But now I got insurance And it's going to be active this year Coming up 2024 Today I'm just waiting for my card In the mail and then we're going to be on the Making appointments Seeing what the hell is going on with me Because I need to be on my A1 This year So we got some health insurance And we got it for under $300 Because they was quoting me About $346 A month And they want me to pay More than my car payment A month To go to the doctors And pay more money To the doctors So I just Could not do that I was willing to do it Because I was in pain And I just needed to Receive relief Pretty much And when I got relief I was willing to do it But Now I can afford it It's affordable and I can go every month And I got some dental Dental was something That I've been struggling with For the longest time I haven't had a dentist appointment Since about 2015 Probably So I'm excited to go back And get my teeth together And be sensitive Another thing about getting older These teeth is not the same teeth they used to be I thought that sparing myself From candy and other sweet things During my childhood Would save my teeth Nope Nope They will not be spared Them motherfuckers ache and they hurt When I tell you So It's really just A lot But That being thoughts Live and unfiltered But another thing That I had a goal of Is to get some new wardrobe For my winter And I did that Because it's about cold It's the devil's tit out here In Colorado And I sometimes So this winter I was going to be ready And sometimes our heater has been turning off in our apartment So I got some heating elements A little weighted blanket A little electric blanket I got a new recliner this year We didn't have no furniture in our living room Before now we got a little something something But I'm excited about that I'm excited about a lot of things That I did this year
