'Maxwell & Co: Mythological Investigators' Episode 1: Are Aliens Real?

Max: Hello viewers and welcome to today's “Maxwell and Co: Mythological Investigators” episode! Max: Today we will discuss aliens and if intelligence life in outer space is conspiracy or truth. Max: Let's welcome our guests for this episode, Jesse and Vincent! Jesse: Hello guys, thanks for the invitation to this podcast, today I will prove that aliens are a stupid conspiracy theory faked by the government and hoo-has. Vince: Hey, thanks for inviting me to listen to us believers’ side of the story. Hopefully, I can try and convince some sort of open-mindedness in the world of intelligent life. Max: So, you two, what do you think about aliens? Are they real or not? Jesse: well, I personally don’t believe in aliens, they are just myths made up by crazy people and what-not. Vincent: well, I think that they are real, and I have the proof. Max: Vincent, What proof do you have that proves the existence of aliens? Vince: Well, there have been over 500 UFO sightings since 2004 Vince: Also, back in 1976, the rover “Viking” picked up chemical signatures of possible life on Mars Jesse: There is this thing called Photoshop, ever heard of it? Also, chemical signatures could’ve been from anything, I doubt it was from extraterrestrials. Max: Well, you make some good points there, now tell me Vincent, have you ever encountered an alien firsthand? Vince: I have met lots of people who have seen UFOs and UAPs. They’re all very patient and unbiased, unlike some people. Max: Alright, alright keep the beef to a minimum. Jesse: Well’, those “UFOs” were most likely satellites, asteroids, or even space rubble, it would be really hard to tell from such distance without proper equipment, which I doubt these seemingly average people would have. Vince: Maybe so, but what if Aliens have already visited us? Max: How so Vincent? Jesse: If the aliens have already visited us, would they have left something for us? And if so, what is it? Vince: Some of the believers have speculated that Aliens made the pyramids in Egypt, how in the world do you think that any number of workers and resources could move tons of rubble and rock by themselves? And how can these workers meticulously place these blocks in a pyramid shape? Jesse: Well, have you ever been to Egypt? Neither have I but there is proof that the Egyptians built the pyramids… the hieroglyphs. These hieroglyphs show that the pyramids were built by hand and not by aliens. They used many techniques like ramps and pulleys, which have been further backed by many scientists. Max: Interesting…if aliens were indeed real why do you think they don’t make themselves known? Vince: We have been thinking of some theories such as- (interrupted) Jesse: hold on, it’s because they aren’t real, if they were real, they surely would’ve introduced themselves by now, seeing other forms of intelligent life, its common sense to say hi. And if aliens were evil, they would’ve made humans extinct by now. Vince: they don’t want to show themselves because they might be researching us and observing us because you know, the government being the government. Jesse: Why would aliens want even to research us if they were the superior lifeform, what would they even do with this knowledge anyway? Where would they even be hiding? With all our advanced technology, they would’ve been found by now. Vince: It’s the same thing as us humans researching animals, it’s just general knowledge in learning things. As for hiding, they might be thousands of lightyears away using a telescope to observe us. Jesse: what kind of telescope would they even be using? Telescopes can only go so far, and they would be thousands of years late because of how fast light can go. Vince: Aliens probably have more advanced tech so it could be possible. But that’s one of our believer's theories. Jesse: Well, what other theories do you have? Vince: Some people have speculated “the dark forest theory” where there are multiple forms of intelligence in the universe that intentionally don’t interact with other outer space life forms in fear of being attacked. This is why the believers theorized that intelligent life observes us from afar. Max: That sounds interesting. Now Jesse what do you think of this theory? Jesse: If there was intelligent life far away, they probably would’ve attacked us by now because we are inferior, they either don’t know about our presence or just don’t exist. And I would like to take the safe side and assume they aren’t real. Vince: That’s probably true, that aliens are superior. Then there is no reason for them to visit us. Since we probably have no use for them. Max: Compelling argument there Vincent. After listening to you guys’ debate on the existence of aliens, I think have concluded that aliens do exist in different forms but not humanoid. Vince: That seems fair. Jesse: That’s absolute baloney!? Max: Security get him out of here.
