Nothing to say, yet
The speaker considers the listener their first true friend, while acknowledging Cooper as a friend as well. They feel they don't have much in common with other animals. They wonder if the listener's owners would be concerned about them not being home. The speaker has never been allowed to go out, unlike Mr. Hopscotch, a frog who wandered off. However, the speaker cannot go far from the farm. You know, come to think of it, you're like my first real friend. Well, don't get me wrong, Cooper is my friend, but he's, um, old. For the other animals, well, I don't really have much in common with them. How about your owners? Wouldn't they be worried about you not being home? As funny as it sounds, I've never really got to go out. Oh, Mr. Hopscotch, you silly frog, don't you ever wander off like that again! But I can't go, I'm very far away from the farm.
