Hello everyone, welcome to True Horror Tales, Unveiling Reality's very first episode. Once a month, we come together to explore the chilling intersection between horror films and true-life horrors. In each episode, we dissect and compare the ear parallels between cinematic scares and the actual events that inspire them. My name is Elle, one of your hosts, joined along with... Hey, my name is Steven, and I love and hate scary movies. I hate them because of the jump scares, but I also love the thrill of them. Hey, my name is Richard, and I really hate gory movies, and really any bloody movies at all. Alright, before we begin, viewer discretion is advised. This discussion contains spoilers and graphic descriptions from the movie. If you prefer to avoid such content, please proceed with caution. Alright guys, today's movie pick is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003. In this horror classic remake, a group of five teens are traveling through rural Texas to get to a concert. While on an isolated road, they almost crash into a woman. They decide to stop for her, but along the way, something horrible happens. They stop at a gas station to get help. As they wait for the sheriff, one of their friends goes missing. They end up being hunted by a creepy family supported by a deformed freak, psychopath, chainsaw killer, who wears a mask made of human faces. Will they survive? Do you want her to read the second one as well? What? Do you want her to read the second synopsis, the other one you read as well? No, no, no. No, we can stick to one. Yeah, that's fine. We'll just cut that out. So today's movie was inspired by Ed Gein, who is the original person which is what this movie is based off of. It's shown in the film because Ed Gein really was inspired by his mother. Too much love, actually, for his mom. And he collected a bunch of body parts and it's shown in the film, very graphically savvy, about all the body parts he collects. So? Okay, so one thing about Ed Gein is that he was a mass serial killer. Supposedly, most bodies weren't found, but when they arrested him, they found multiple body parts. Because he was robbing graves and chose... Wait. Wait, wait, stop. Let's start over. Let's start over. No, no, that's fine. Just cut right there. That's fine. We'll just cut that out. No, let's start over. Let's start over. Keep going.
