Written somewhere near 1989 with a line dance feel and honky-tonk piano (in my minds ear). The verse melody was solid, but the chorus has changed multiple times. At the time I lived in Cleveland trying to do Country music and struggled. 35 or so years later I live in a place surrounded by corn, cows and horses, but if you ask my daughter, I'm still a city boy.
