Welcome back to another episode of Gentleman's Agreement. This is episode 6, The Game Blues. We got a great show for you guys coming up today and as always we got one of our favorite guests joining us today. I'm glad to be back. It is Creech. It is Creech. Who would have thunk it? D, you want to take the listeners through what we got planned today? Yeah, so our weekly Tigers update has kind of just gone in there first and we talk about anything MLB, the Tigers, anything that will get us through the lousy Tiger season. Then we talk a lot about NFL trade, suspensions, and of course the draft that is coming up this week. So kind of must have knowledge that you won't want to miss. Then we play a nice, lovely game where there's an upset, that's all I got to say, but it is Star Wars related so you don't want to miss that. And then we close it off on the Star Wars trail, wrapping up the Mandalorian season, our final thoughts, what we think is going to happen going forward, and stuff like that. So definitely sit back, grab a bite to eat, maybe a drink, and enjoy the episode. Alright, gentlemen, first order of business, kind of per usual, let's talk about the Tigers, give a little weekly recap. What happened there, Creech, with the Tigers? Well, they were doing very good, they were looking like a real solid team there for a minute. They went on a 5. It was a 5? It was a 5. We had a 5 game win streak going, and then the AL East hit. We went to the Orioles and got swept in pretty terrible fashion, not in the fact that we got blown out, but we lost two games that we should not have, and got walked off twice. What comes around goes around, we've been walking off a lot of teams, getting good fortune, and it came back on us this weekend. It wasn't the fact that we got walked off, it was how we got walked off. I think we were all sitting there, me and Creech were sitting around the TV watching on Sunday, and we were like, okay, going to extra innings, ball goes right through the catcher's legs, and the guy walks home, and we were like, holy smokes, it was so embarrassing. That is extreme Tigers fashion right there. Yeah, it was just complete laziness by the catcher. All he had to do was slide over, and I say all he had to do, it's probably really hard, but as an MLB catcher, he should have been able to slide over and block that, and keep it strong. Yeah, so that's the thing, is Jake Rogers was behind the home plate, and he's touted as our better catcher between him and Eric Haas, and he's the one that just lazily sticks a glove out at it, and what happens? I mean, it hits you in the knee, anything can happen. That's a baseball, and it flies away, and that's how they win. You can slide very quickly, you block it with your chest, you see it all the time. That's how you become a gold glover, that's how you become a Hall of Famer, is just doing the little stuff correctly every single day, and Jake Rogers, I'm sad to say, will probably not be one. And that's who we traded Justin Verlander for. So we thought it'd be a Hall of Famer for a Hall of Famer, and this is what we ended up with. We got shafted. I think it was ruled a wild pitch, I think it needs to be ruled an error on the catcher. Yeah, yeah, you definitely see that one blocked by most catchers. But alas, they lost, but they did transition well. They went to Milwaukee, pulled out a game last night, so that was good. Yeah, that was. Three run shot by Maiton, he leads the team in RBIs, with East. Yeah, and home runs, with 4 and 12. So, nothing to write home about, but he does lead the team. I think I was looking on ESPN today, Milwaukee's home run leader is at 7, so. It's almost double. You want to tell us about the base running, Blunder? So, yesterday, I was so disgusted with the Tigers on Sunday, so yesterday being Monday, I chose to watch the NHL playoffs instead. I was giving the Tigers a day off. Well, lo and behold, my father calls me. He tells me to turn on the Tigers. I said, Dad, I'm not trying to listen to the Tigers, or watch them, I'm kind of ticked on them. He goes, no, turn on. So, the first thing I see on my TV is Riley Green sliding head first into third base, while Akil Badu is standing on third base. Essentially, what happened is they were on first and second, Baez got a hit, Badu got held up at third instead of sending him, and Green did not see any signs from the third base coach, slid right into where Badu was literally standing on the base, and they tagged Green out. What happens the very next at bat, Nick Maton hits a three-run shot, could have been a grand slam. We still win the game, but the Blunders just continue, at some point it has to be in coaching. We are not going over something in practice. I get you don't have a lot of practice in baseball. It's not like you take a week off and practice everything you do wrong, but baseball is kind of a simple sport in that aspect. The rules don't really change. You don't have to change much with how you look at different teams. But go ahead. It is one of those things where it's like, you know, you're talking about coaching and stuff like that. At what point do you look at this from the point, these guys are professional athletes. How in the world does Riley Green not look up at one single moment during this base? Like, if anything, that's the first thing I'm looking for if I'm a base runner. And like, yeah, I only played like from T-ball all the way to high school ball, but it's like... The rules don't change. That's the thing. It's like you're getting paid the big bucks and you're out there looking like a middle schooler. So, if I had one thing to think of, I am pretty sure the sign that the Tigers give... You know how the on-deck batter comes in front of home and tells them down or up or whatever? I'm pretty sure I've seen them go like this to tell them to slide. For those of you that are listening, I have my hands raised above my head. So they have their hands up to tell them to slide. Now the third base coach had his hands up to tell the dude to stop and Green might have taken it as slide into third. But at the same time, you have to still see the dude on the base pass. But yeah, it's just... That's the only thing I can think of. I didn't hear it in an interview. I just have seen that before. But yeah, any thoughts on the final blunder there? The spin zone of this, last time we had a major base running error, Javi Baez, that kicked off our five-game win streak. So, win streak? Hey, it starts off with the Brewers, and we got one yesterday. That's right. We got one potentially coming tonight. That's right. I am actually... Currently, I have it on my phone, so I will give live updates if we are winning or losing. Where are we at right now? We have a runner on first with two outs, and Spencer Torkelson is up to that. It is a 1-1 count, make it 2-1. Anyway, let's talk about weird teams that have good records right now. Yeah, so I saw this on social media, and it's been a really weird year in baseball so far. A lot of teams that were really terrible last year are on top right now. So here's the top six teams record-wise in all of baseball. You of course have the Rays. They're 20-3. They're looking like the best team in baseball, absolutely dominating everybody right now. The Rays, they're 14-0 at home, too. I saw something the other day, or today, that either that record or the 14-0 at home is the best since 1888. Holy cow. Not bad, Champa Bay. But then you got the Pirates at 16-7. Everyone predicted the Pirates to be really good this year, obviously. That's because McCutchen's back. Then you got the Orioles at 15-7, which, fair. The Braves, 15-8, which is also fair. But then the Brewers, 15-8, that's surprising. And the Rangers, 14-8. So between the Pirates, Orioles, Brewers, and Rangers, you got four out of the top six teams in the league right now that were pretty awful last year. Yeah. Yeah, I would say the two biggest surprises to me are the Pirates and the Rangers, because the Brewers have sniffed success in the past recently. But yeah, the Rangers and Pirates have just been like the Tigers, which is discouraging to see that the Tigers aren't making any strides like these teams. We're starting our rebuild within the rebuild, and the Pirates are the second-best team in baseball right now. So that's cool. Will it last? Probably not. But we have to talk about it, because it's interesting right now. Anything else on baseball, gentlemen? I need to get better at watching baseball. It is hard. Well, it's one of those things where it's like, you have baseball going on right now, and it's very hard to watch the Lions, or not the Lions, the Tigers, stink this badly at moments. So it's one of those things where it's like, I'm watching NHL playoff hockey right now, because I've been trying to get into that quite a bit. Obviously it's not the same, because the wings aren't in it, but I'm not going to lie, it is definitely fun to see guys chucking knucks out there, rather than watching Riley Green slide headfirst into his own teammate. That is so bad. So it's like, I've just been enjoying, I even found myself watching college lacrosse the other day, and I'm like, I need to actually start watching something that's relatively relatable to this podcast. But if the listeners want to hear some NHL playoff hockey updates in the coming weeks, I will be more than gladly to give my two cents on those, because I'm having a great time watching it. Yeah, a lot of those series are at 2-2 and 3-1. Pretty close series. I don't think anybody got swept 4-0, did they? You got a potential dynasty with the Bruins coming up. Yeah, they are stupid good. Update, TORC got a single, first and third, and then we just hit into a ground ball. So that ends the inning, but Tigers already have two hits. They need to put bats on balls and stuff like that, get them no hits. I think that is a perfect way, as we wrap up the top of the first inning for the Tigers, to wrap up baseball. So I think now, one of our favorite segments, one of the hottest things this week, we got the NFL, trades, suspensions, and the draft. So we want to start with the trade? I say we do. This is the hot topic right now. What happened there, Jake, in the trade? So, we have Mr. Darkness Retreat himself, Aaron Rodgers being traded officially to the Jets, following in the footsteps of the great Brett Favre. We have... His mentor. The mentor. Now, the mentor himself, Aaron Rodgers is going to mentor Zach Wilson. Don't forget, Zach Wilson said, whoever comes to the Jets, he's going to give them a hack. Whatever this dude is. If anything, give Zach Wilson the humbling that this guy needs, if I'm being 100% honest. But if I'm being honest, how do you guys think the Jets are actually going to be this upcoming football season? I am hesitant to say... I think they'll be bad, but when I said that about the Buccaneers and Tom Brady rolled in, they won the Super Bowl. So I can totally see the Jets making it to the playoffs, because they were nearly there last year, and maybe even making a run. No, they are not winning the Super Bowl, but I could totally see them make a run. Well, what did they do? Like, last year, at the beginning of the season, they went off, and then at week 9 or 10, they lost every single game after that. Yeah, I mean, they were going off Mike White, Zach Wilson, and Joe Flacco, right? Yeah, they were rotating the quarterbacks. They had a three-headed monster right there. And also, Brees Hall went down. Their season kind of went down with him. He was having a really good year. Yeah, he'll be good next year. I was actually watching SportsCenter Live when Adam Schefter basically broke the news. And all the news, or it was like part of my interruption, all these guys were just going off and they were doing talk shows and just talking about this trade. And it felt very weird to have the people just go around the horn and be like, the Jets are going to be a well-rounded, solid team this year. I've never heard those words said in a sentence in my entire life. So it just feels weird. Yeah, that is weird. And the other thing is, on paper, besides like the bottom feeders in the NFL, on paper, you can list the offense for every team and think to yourself, it's going to look good. Because I've seen people like Garrett Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, Brees Hall, Corey Davis. Colosuma, that looks like an ensemble. I said every offense has, it's the NFL, they all are stacked. So you can make every offense look good. But the marriage of Rodgers and Hackett again will be good because he seemed to be good with Hackett. Yeah, the offense, that's I believe when he won his two MVPs is with the most recent MVPs is when Hackett was calling the plays in the OC. Yeah, what did they get there, Craig? What did the Packers get? Your boys. My boys. So my overall take first on this trade, well, I'll go through it. So Packers get, they move up two spots in this year's draft, which is not, a lot of people are saying it's inconsequential. From what to what? 15 to 13. Okay. So a lot of people are saying it's inconsequential, but if the Packers want to take a receiver in the draft, they just jump the Patriots, which the Patriots have been circled as a receiver landing spot. So where it might, yeah, we got our Patriots fan, Steven, over here. But it might seem inconsequential, but that could prove very beneficial actually. So two spots up in this year's draft, a second round pick, a sixth round pick, and a likely first round pick the following year if Rodgers plays 65% of the stack. Watch out for Zach Wolfman. Exactly. He ain't going to get benched. The Jets get, obviously, their quarterback, and they move back two spots in this year's draft, but they get a fifth round pick. So my, when I saw this initially when I, in the summer when we were talking about, not the summer, the winter, after the season had ended and Rodgers was kind of, you know, the vibe was that he was going to get traded, I wanted two first round picks for him. My initial, like, we need to get at least that. Come on, it's Aaron Rodgers. But as things developed and he did his darkness retreat and all this other happy horse crap, he pretty much went out and said, I don't want to be in Green Bay, I want to play for New York. So at that moment, the Packers lose all leverage in any trade situation. And so then my expectation shifted to hopefully we get a first round for him in maybe a second. So seeing this, I'm overall pretty happy with the return, considering he is now 40 years old. And it's just got to be relieving to move on from that drama queen. It is. Why New York, though? That's what I'm so curious. Is it because he's going to be, like, a star there? Or, like, does he have ties to New York? They might be the only team that showed interest. If I'm being honest. Were they? I can't remember. I thought, didn't the Raiders have something on them? Yeah, and the Niners. Yeah, I can't imagine Rodgers at the Niners. That offense? Yeah, that's an offense you can lift and be like... Yeah, that's what I'd be like. That would be a solid, well-rounded team right there. But who do you guys think won the trade? Everyone loves the Packers. The Packers. I would say that if I'm looking at this from an outside view and I've looked at the career that he's had so far, yes, he's had a fantastic career. Last few years, they've been, like, above average. I would say that. Specifically last year. Last year, it kind of went down a little bit. Not quite a bit, I would say. This dude's career is almost over. If I'm being 100%. He's going to... This is his final landing spot, if I were to guess. Huh? He'll retire, then go to the Vikings, just like Farr. Gotta continue the journey. Next up, Jordan Lowe. He'll be on the Jets in 10 years. But it's like... I don't know. You're looking at a dude who's probably 95% retired in his career. And for you guys to get that many picks and then also move up in the first round, it just seems like a win for the Packers. And then also, I looked at his stats. I'm not entirely sure this is 100% correct, but I believe it's been over 30 years since the Packers have taken a tight end or a wide receiver in the first round. Yeah, and how does... They're projecting that the Packers are going to take a receiver if they're 300. That'd be crazy. I'll imagine. How disappointing. I'm going to give a middle finger of that to Aaron Rodgers as they walk out the door. Four days after he leaves. So I initially said Packers won the trade, but I think this is, in a way, like the Lions-Rams trade, in which both teams were winners. So the Rams, obviously, you can say won the trade right away. They won the Super Bowl. But now the Lions are really reaping the benefits in the draft picks. As long as Brad Holmes doesn't screw it up, the Lions are going to have really good results from it. And Stafford is aging as well. So that's kind of like the Jets. They might get a good year out of Aaron Rodgers. He won an MVP two years ago. So it's not like... He's not like Matt Ryan where his arm literally fell off. We saw... Don't even get me started. But... Our boy Craig has just informed us he will be playing golf with us on Thursday. So we will be giving a review on that next week. Just live updates on this Tuesday night. But where was I? Rodgers, he'll be good with the Jets for at least a year or two. Just kind of like Stafford. Stafford got injured in year two, so it's hard to see how he'll pan out. But the Packers, the draft picks, we'll see what kind of draft picks they get because that's kind of what... Once you get the draft picks, you have to compare it to Rodgers. Was this worth it? But it's good to just move on from his drama because he clearly hated Green Bay. And Green Bay clearly was done with him. Yeah, and I'll second that. Every ESPN analyst and whatever, most of what you're seeing is, oh my word, the Packers fleeced the Jets. Absolutely fleeced. At least that's the majority of what I've been seeing. And I don't think that's entirely true. I think it's more maybe a 60-40 Packers got the better end of the deal. But both teams are happy. Each team's goals. Packers are looking to rebuild to the long game. And then honestly, I feel like with this, the Jets are playing for that short game. The win-now mentality. And hoping that maybe Zach Wilson picks up a thing or two. Somebody asked me a question the other day as to whether or not I think that they're going to, with the hiring of Rodgers, they're going to drop Zach Wilson and keep on White. If anything, I would see them booting out White because they heavily invested in Zach Wilson as their top QB. That's a good point. And Mike White could definitely land as a backup quarterback somewhere. He proved himself this year. We talk a lot about it, but it's one of the biggest trades in recent history since Brady. Since Russell Wilson. Are we going to place any bets on the future? On the Jets' future? Oh, he'll get injured week two. When do they play the Bills? Do you think that's what the Lions players were doing? They might have heard about the trade early and so they decided to put a future on the Jets? Maybe. I was asking a Packer fan earlier today, the Jets don't play the Packers this year. They played last year. So there's no way, right? Yeah, they did not play this year. But it'll be exciting because the AFC is known for the loaded quarterbacks this year. So I want to see the Jets' schedule and kind of see whose Rodgers they've got to go up against this year. He's going to get two against Allen, two against Tua. Matt Jones. Yes, two against Matt Jones. You know who? Bill Belichick might strut out there and play. Honestly. No, hold on a second. We got that Notre Dame quarterback coming in. No, Penn State. Sorry, Penn State. No, yeah, you do, James. Okay, let's move on from the Packers. Let's talk about our Lions, gentlemen. Such a baller move. Okay, so I was listening to 97 on the ticket and I am finding out that so essentially what went down is Jamison Williams and several other players got caught gambling. Now, he got caught gambling in the team facility, which is illegal. He can gamble on college football games, which he was. He just can't do it in the team facility. So now he's suspended six games, which is big because we haven't even seen him play football yet. He has one catch, does he not? Yep. He has one catch in one season. Now he's suspended for a third of the season. So what's bigger news is I'm finding out that he showed himself on social media after he got suspended at the Ryan Garcia fight in Vegas. The capital of gambling. The capital of gambling. So odds are he was gambling and he's spending all of his money at the Ryan Garcia fight. He can do whatever, like... You guys should see Jake's face. He's just like... He doesn't know what to say. He can gamble or do whatever he wants. It just looks really bad. Where's the adult in the room? Where's the maturity from him to just be like, you know, I probably shouldn't go to the mecca of gambling 24 hours after I just got suspended for a third of the season for gambling. I just... I don't know. I think... I understand the reason why they have certain constituents in place. But still, I would say there's a big difference in a third of a whole season suspension for gambling on a college game. Something that is completely unrelated to the NFL. I don't know. I just think it's so dumb how you could walk probably 50 feet outside the premise. But because they just track your IP address that you made a bet that you're losing out on millions of dollars in playing. I just think that there needs to be some type of review of these types of rules. Because I think it's like... I mean, you have these guys being sponsored and in commercials for BetMGM, FanDuel. And it's like, these guys are literally sponsored. They are in a division which is probably one of the most bet on things in all of sports. And it's like, if one man wants to place his bet on the Kentucky Derby, heaven forbid he's using the Lions Wi-Fi router. Like, I don't know. I don't know how they find stuff like that out. Yeah, like who's tracking that? That he was on... What's that off the record? Did FanDuel turn him in? Are they paid off by the Packers? I want to see the bet. I want to see if it hit or not. Was it worth it? Was it worth it? That's my question. Like, I don't know. I feel like it seems maybe a little bit egregious for something that was like... But at the same point in time, like, you've already shown signs of dissing Goff. And you've already shown signs of liking tweets of Lamar coming to Detroit. And you're already under the radar, or on the radar, because you didn't do anything your first year. And it's like, just follow the rules. The man's entitled. I think he's a bum. DeJuan St. Brown is just a hard worker. I like that dude. Head down. Was given nothing in life. Just works his butt off. And he's quiet. And he just puts up production. And we get this Diva-like receiver. I don't know if he's a Diva yet. But sure following day, Antonio Brown steps. Of, I have a lot of potential, but I might not do anything. You know? Yeah, what is it with wide receivers in the NFL? They just eventually turn into Divas. J-Mo's picking the quick route. It was kind of funny how he had Jujus Miss Schuster on the Steelers a few years back, dancing on logos. And now he goes to like the Kansas City Chiefs where, you know, none of that. Reid don't put up with none of that crap. But it's Hawaii. I feel like Reid's just like, listen, we're doing it my way. We win Super Bowl. It's my way or the highway. It's my way slash Kelsey and Mahomes way. You didn't see nothing from Schuster. No, he was like the, he wasn't even talked about. No. You thought him and Scantley were just B or C wide receivers. Just nobodies by the end of the year. Yeah. But also the more concerning thing, yes, J-Mo will get all the headlines and the attention because he's the big name player. But there was eight people in total, players and staffers, for the Lions that got caught for this gambling. Two people were like fired. They lost their job. Well, it just speaks, I mean, everything you've heard all off season is they're building the culture. Well, this is not what you want your culture to look like. Exactly. The culture is degenerate gambling. Can you imagine trying to get a job after getting fired from the Lions? Like what'd you do? I made a parlay. Was it filthy? I mean, yeah, but I still lost my job. 16 leg. That's terrible. Yeah. I mean, not much else to say on it. Yeah. It's really disappointing. I see someone here, one of you wrote J-Mo a bus question mark. I think it's too early to, you know, say and know, but after this year, if he doesn't do anything, two years of no production and your best, most athletic years of your life when you have not been hit and you're not injured. I know he came off an ACL, but come on. It's not a good look. When he comes back week seven, week eight, week nine, he is now one, like, ankle tweak, one knee injury, one, any significant to medium injury away from never playing for the Lions again. Yeah. He's kind of already used his get out of jail free card for sure. Yeah. But you're like, he's like already on strike three. Dan Campbell's ready to bite that kneecap off. Yeah. Dan Campbell goes for his knee in practice. He's done it. Yeah. Let's move to something more exciting though, gentlemen. I looked up another NFL mock draft in honor of draft week. So let's just kind of go over it, and then I have a question posed for both of you to answer. So this mock draft is based off of pro football focus, and they had analysts do a mock draft. 17 pro football focus analysts drafted for all 32 teams. They did seven rounds. I'm not going to go through all seven. We'll go through the top and exciting ones. So number one, they got the Panthers, Bryce Young. I think that's pretty obvious by now. Everybody in the world thinks Bryce Young is going to the Panthers. Jared made that call two or three weeks ago. Number two, they now have Houston taking Anthony Richardson, which is intriguing. Houston has been the most confusing team because every mock draft has them taking a different person. I've seen them take Tyree. I've seen them take Will Anderson. I've seen them take Anthony. I've seen them take Stroud. I mean, I have no idea, but they have Anthony Richardson. I think every mock draft. I saw one on CBS where the Lions were going to trade up and pick up Anthony Richardson. I was like, what? At this point, it's all just smoke and mirrors. Yeah. But what I'm pretty sure will happen, a lot of people have said this, Tennessee is going to trade up for Arizona's pick at three and pick up a quarterback. Who that quarterback is, I don't know. They have C.J. Stroud from Ohio State. I could totally see that because he's definitely way better now than, what's his face? Malik Willis that they drafted the project. So that wouldn't be a bad move by Tennessee by any means. We've got to stop here though and talk about C.J. Stroud's exam score. Did you guys see that? Yeah, I heard it was low and he's not a hard worker. There's some cognitive test that they do. I don't know what it's called, but he scored 18% on it. Out of 100? That's an F. Did he have the flu? What questions are on this thing? I don't know. Hey, live update, gentlemen, the Tigers just hit a three run home run, Kerry Carpenter. We're up three nothing in the top of the second. Okay. Go Tigers. Go Tigers. Go Tigers. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's just, you know, those concussion tests we had? I thought I failed every time. I didn't have a concussion. Yeah. It's like memory. They flash symbols that you're supposed to remember this. It goes with that. Yeah. Pretty much like basic cognition and memory and stuff like that. Well, long story short, C.J. Stroud scored an 18%. The next lowest was Hendon Hooker at 46%. Yeah. 100% of the Panthers are right in picking out Bryce Young. Yeah. But I just thought I'd note that. I don't know how much teams put stock into that, but 18%, my guy. Were you trying to fail? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think he'll be good, but he does have the Ohio State quarterback curse. So hopefully he sucks because I am a Colts fan. So I don't like the Titans, and I hate Ohio State. So I'd be down a few. I'll tell you what. That Ohio State curse really hit Haskins pretty hard. I'll tell you what. He caught the raw talent in that one. Okay. Number four. Too soon? The Colts are too soon? Will Levis, yes. My man shredded Will Levis. I mean, you see the raw talent. It kind of reminds me of Josh Allen. Yeah, I could definitely see that. Because arm talent, you know, kind of inaccurate, not the best at making decisions. That's probably your chisel-the-way-at-work guy. Exactly. I mean, that's the. So that's why I make the Josh Allen comparison because he's obviously proven better. I think Josh Allen has a lot to prove this year because he did struggle last year with a lot of interceptions. But the point is there. It's growing on me. I would definitely want Will Levis over Anthony Richardson. Oh, 100%. I feel like Will Levis has been more consistent. And I feel like Richardson is only coming into this equation ever since the combine. Like, Anthony Richardson really was not much of a talking point until somebody brought him up and started this absolutely hype train on the guy. Like, I remember watching him at Florida and I remember him getting pulled and somebody else starting over because he was doing so bad. He was struggling so hard. Something to note, Will Levis has been flying up draft boards this week and C.J. Stroud has been trickling down. So, it would be kind of crazy. I've seen Levis as high as two. At the beginning. So, like, picture the end of the college football season. Stroud just went off against Georgia, but still lost. Can you imagine at that time, Stroud being drafted after Will Levis? I think it's all like. Things can change from. I think it's all happened to do with the culture aspect as well. I mean, here you have C.J. Stroud scoring an 18% on certain things like that. There's things flying around. He's not a hard worker. And then you have Will Levis that has put on 30 pounds, 20 some odd pounds of muscle in preparation for this. Absolutely shows out during his combine workout. And it's just like he's shown this work ethic that I think people or scouts aren't necessarily looking at going into the combine as like potential for the future. Yeah. And then also there is those videos circulating. Have you seen that Will Levis eats bananas with the peels on? Stop it. And puts mayonnaise in his coffee. Stop it. I'm not even joking you. Stop it. I feel like there was a guy last year that did that. He drinks mayonnaise. I want to have my wife try that. In his coffee. Mayonnaise in your coffee tomorrow morning. And he eats bananas straight up. He just raw dogs those bananas. Dude. Like what a beast. Dude. That's the dude that belongs on the Lions right there. Him and Campbell would fit in real nicely. All right. Let's move on from that nasty image. Oh, yeah. Jake is just firing on all cylinders today. Quickly, Jalen Carter, whatever, to the Seahawks. They can have him. They do need someone on the D-line. He would be a beast. What is important is a lot of draft, not just this one. Has the Lions taken Will Anderson? You know how good that would be for the Lions? The best case scenario. A hundred percent. That would be awesome. Just him and Hutchinson and Houston. Their defense was already unstoppable last year. That D-line was getting pretty good. Highlight reel to highlight reel. And if we get that, it would be quite insane. The first cornerback in the draft would be the Raiders, Devin Witherspoon. He's good out of Illinois. People are kind of knocking him because he didn't really play against SEC caliber receivers. But Ronnie Bell. But Ronnie Bell. Illinois didn't play Ohio State either who has the NFL receivers. So it's kind of hard to tell. That's kind of a gamble, but that's where the Raiders are. The Falcons would take Tyree Wilson. Just stop me if you guys want to comment. Bears take Lucas Van Ness. Eagles take Christian Gonzalez, the cornerback out of Oregon. Arizona, via the Tennessee trade, would take Peter Skrnansky out of Northwestern. Now that the Packers are up to 13, at 15 there was no shot the Packers would get a chance at that Peter Skrnansky guy. But sitting at 13, if he falls a little bit, I want the Packers to nab him up. I think he is the best offensive lineman in the draft. And when you're starting to rebuild, just like the Lions did, they went O-line, D-line, and now they're good. That's what the Packers need to do. Go get the best O-lineman in the draft and start in the trenches. Yeah, I agree. He's the first one to go, you said, right? Yep. He'd be the first tackle? Yeah, that'd be good. And is he a right or left tackle? To tell you the truth, I can't remember where he played. That'd be good because Bakayari is a liability. Yeah, he's getting old and he's been injured a lot. So, that'd be interesting. Houston Texans, this would be, oh man, if they nail the quarterback, whoever they get top four, I would say you'd want to go for Stroud, just because at 12 they have him drafting Jackson Smith and Jigla. And we have seen the quarterback-wide receiver combo work in the NFL from college. Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase, Jalen Waddell. Yeah, even Jalen Hurts and Devonta Smith. Yeah, I think that would be a great move by the Texans. That would be an A-plus start to your draft. No, you're way too smart for the Texans. I don't remember who we're talking about. Yeah, you're right. But, Torgerson just got an RBI for the Tigers. Really? We had runners on first and third, still rallying in the second. Would you like to tell the listeners about the parlay that we have? This is why I'm so excited right now. So, today, the Tigers have kind of been screwing us. So, we decided to put together a parlay to just make us feel better about the Tigers. And we said, Torg's been absolutely tattooing the ball. And he put this down the third baseline so beautifully. Let's see if it will show creation on my replay. But Torg has been tattooing the ball however he hits it. Just smokes the ball. So, we said Torgerson's going to get a hit. That was a very nice hit. He's going to get one hit. He's going to get one RBI. And because the Tigers never score runs, there will be less than nine runs all. Nine and a half, actually. Okay. So, there will be nine runs or less in the game. And so far, the Tigers are letting us down by scoring too many runs. But the hard work is done in Torg getting his hit. So, two of the three legs have hit. Yes. And we just got out of the inning. So, just four runs. Now, we need to end four nothing. Exactly. The Tigers need to win. Now, actually, for my sake, the Tigers need to win. But for the bet, it doesn't matter. But this is good. This is a $10 bet, $76 payout. Truly. We're getting rich quick. All right. So, we don't have to do this pot. I'm kidding. Anyway, we just ended with Jack Smith and Jake Lewis. Okay, Craich, I've got to ask you, Packers fan. It has you here getting Quentin Johnson. Would you rather Quentin Johnson or Smith and Jake Lewis? I would rather Smith and Jake Lewis. Johnson seems, I don't know. He did really well against Michigan, obviously. And he's a solid player. I just think you could get him at the end of the first round. I don't think he's at number 13. I think that's a little bit of a reach. I would prefer Njigba or, like I said earlier, that Peterson on Giga if he falls. So, you wouldn't care for Parrish Johnson or Broderick Jones? Parrish Johnson would also be a fine pick as well. Yeah, I mean, Aiden Hodgson lined up against him. That'd be awesome. Actually, take that back. That's a terrible matchup you're going to get absolutely beat. No, but I don't really want Quentin Johnson at 13. Yeah, I get you. So, it's kind of like, what are you guys going to do? Because I'm still not happy with the pick, like you said. Joey Porter, what are you cooking up over there, Jay? It looks like you're goofing to something. I'm looking over notes and stuff like that. Oh, okay. Anything new on the draft that you've mentioned? Following in the lines of the Lions players. So, the Patriots would take Joey Porter Jr. from Penn State. New York Jets, Parrish Johnson. Broderick Jones is the commander. Steelers get Darnell Wright. Detroit Lions pick 18 is in. Ryan Branch from Bama, a defensive back. I don't hate with the second first-round pick going to the cornerback spot to fill the role of Jeff Okuda leaving. Yeah. And 18 is a fine spot to take a cornerback. Yes. They don't need to be Deion Sanders, and they're a bust. He can be just a solid person there, and that's good value. And I see why they picked Brian Branch. All I'm going to say is if the Lions don't end up getting Willie Anderson and they pick up Witherspoon at 6, they need to get Nolan Smith, who's going in this draft at 20, the edge from Georgia. All I've heard is good things. I know he's coming off an injury and we're scarred by Jameson Williams, but I think Nolan Smith, everything I've heard is he is awesome and he can hang with the best of them. He's a dude. He's a dude. So that would be something to look at. Buccaneers at 19, Anton Harrison. Seattle Seahawks take Nolan Smith at 20. Chargers take Deontay Banks out of Maryland. A lot of corners out of the Big Ten this year. Interesting. Bijan Robinson, it says, going number 25 overall. So running back, they do have a running back going in the first round, which is kind of rare. And that is the Bengals actually trading for the Giants pick, which is interesting because I've heard that the Giants might take Saquon. They might move on. They're not going to pay Saquon. No. Myles Murphy out of Clemson, he's a beast. Jacksonville just always needs a line guy or an edge. Didn't they get – they had the number one pick last year. Yeah, they got Walker. What was his name? What was the number one? Tyson. No. It started with a T. Something Walker, but, yeah, they ended up making the wrong pick. Myles Murphy. I mean, Jacksonville's always got a good linebacker core. Dalton Kinkade, is that the first tight end? I believe so. I haven't seen Michael Mayer from Notre Dame yet. That's to the Cowboys out of Utah, that's a decent pick. I don't love it in the first round. No, they have Dalton Schultz. I don't know, maybe he's on a contract here. I don't know. Yeah, that is true. Nothing else really to note here. Pick 31. Isn't there 32 teams? What am I missing here? 32 starts the second round? Yeah, yeah. I guess. Yeah, it does. It does. There's 32 teams. Yeah. I'm confused. I think this site is... Whoever's listening, give us insight to why 32 starts the second round on this draft. Maybe it's just the draft is messed up. Any final thoughts, gentlemen, on the draft before I hop into our game? I'm just excited for draft week. It's Thursday. You go a long time without anything NFL, anything real NFL, and the draft always comes in at the perfect time. Lamar, night one or night two? The big news on Lamar, what do we think? When is it dropping? That's a good question. Will there be any news? Place your bets. I'm saying night two. Neither. Say night two. I was going to say Rogers would be the one that gets dealt on draft night or day one or day two, but that already happened, so I don't know. So I say that we do our game. Okay. And then I think we should at least talk a little bit about our golf endeavors. Okay. And then we can get into Mando to kind of end the night. That's what I say. Sounds good to me. Let's knock out the game here. Okay, let me ask you this. Is it better or worse than the spelling bee? It is 100% better because it is Star Wars quotes. Let's go. I have 18 questions. Oh, boy. And I am just going to go back and forth. It is not in any particular order. I got it off a website. It is actually the website. I copied it onto a thing. The 73 most iconic Star Wars quotes true fans must know. Okay, so they are listed, and I am just going to go, whoever wants to go first, and read it. If you get it and it's hard, if it's easy, I just kind of highlighted one that I think would be easier. Guess first. Guess first. So, Crate, you're up. Crate, you're up. Here we go. And every other. You cannot steal. So, if we are tied after 18, I have plenty more to go through. 73, you said? 73. Oh, boy. So, Crate, with the microphone in hand, number one, your focus determines your reality. Bro, that could be any Jedi. I've got two I've narrowed it down to. No stealing, but I do want to hear if you do know it. I'm going to say Obi-Wan. Anakin. No. Was it Qui-Gon? It was Qui-Gon Jinn. Dang it. In the Fates of Menace. You don't have to say what it's from. If you do know, congrats. But that could be a dagger. That is totally a Qui-Gon saying. Okay, so I didn't make it down. It's a Liam Neeson saying right there. Number two. The ability to speak does not make you intelligent. That's also Qui-Gon. That is also Qui-Gon Jinn. Alright, it's Jar Jar Binks. That is 1-0 there. Crate, it's up to you. Did we say Sun Death? I thought it was 1-0. Yeah, it's over. It's over, Anakin. I have the high ground. That's not the quote. I'll take that one. The quote. Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose. Do I go back to the Obi-Wan well? If I just keep guessing Obi-Wan for everything, he's bound to be one of these. Train yourself. Say it again. Train yourself to. What is it again? Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose. I'm going to say Obi-Wan again. Do you know it, Jake? Is that Qui-Gon again? It's Yoda. He's smoking an ashtray. It was Revenge of the Sith, and that is why I picked that one, because you guys would be confused. Mission success. So that is still 1-0, Jake. This would be part of the game. You have to attempt to say it in their voice, or we have to try and decode it. That's hilarious. With a 1-0 lead. Okay. I like firsts. Good or bad, they're always memorable. Say that again. I like firsts. Good or bad, they're always memorable. This has to be one of the earliest movies. My guess is somewhere between Luke, Han, and Leia. Say it one more time for me. I like firsts. Good or bad, they're always memorable. Is it Han? It is Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian. I was going to tell you later that we have the shows included, but that would have given it away. So it is still 1-0. Pretty much everything is Star Wars. So this is wide Star Wars. Is this going to be like there's a random quote from like CZ-105, like episode 43 of The Clone Wars? Actually, they had a couple Clone Wars ones. They have Hondo and Naka doing a couple. Yeah, I never would have gotten that. Don't worry. I did not do those. Creech. I like this because you guys are... We're all big into Star Wars, so I like that it's not just the easy ones. Okay, here we go. Yeah, I haven't gotten any. Congratulations. You are being rescued. Okay, I know this one. I just got to think a little bit. It is the droid in Rogue One. What is his name? Oh, the big black droid that is with Caffeine. Are you going to make me... You got to say the full one. You got to at least give me a couple digits in the name. I should be able to say this one. Oh, man. What is this dude's name? Go through your alphabet. Exactly. K2-SO. It is K2-SO. Well done. You're number one. We're on the board. Okay, Jake. Come here. Come on, baby. Do the magic hand thing. He gave it away with the voice. It is definitely from Mando. Hold on. What is his name? It is High Magistrate. I know exactly the actress. The guy that played Apollo Creed. I am trying to remember his name. This is just like Creatures. You got to give me at least one of his names. Besides High Magistrate. What is his name? It starts with an M, doesn't it? It starts with a K, like something last name. High Magistrate. Car something. You're on the right track. Keep going. Let me know if and when you want to give it to him. Car is right. High Magistrate Car. Is it Carta or... So close. Carta or... Keep going. It is not Carta and it is not Cartha. Carga. It is Carga. We will give it to him. Is that 2 to 1? Yes. Nicely done. Grief Carga. You just had to get it out of the... Jake and I are digging deep. That was good. I know exactly the character, but all the character's names. I struggle sometimes. Great. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. Yes. Are you Googling? No, no. Just trying to make sure. It has got to be Yoda, right? It is Yoda. What are you saying? He is talking to... Is he talking to... Anger. He is sitting in a dark room. Anger. Are you staring? 2 to 2. Why you stuck up half-witted scruffy looking nerf herder. Princess Leia. There it is. See, there are some easy ones in there. My girlfriend has called me that a few times. A nerfer? What is a nerf in Star Wars? I do not know. Someone look that up. Anyway, not yet because there are quotes. Great. 3 to 2. Now we are rolling. Do not call me a mindless philosopher, you overweight glob of grease. That one might stump me. Not ringing any bells. What is an overweight glob of grease? Okay, who is Gabagool? Did they say that to Jabba maybe? In episode 6? To Waddle. Do not call me a mindless philosopher, you overweight glob of grease. Yeah, it has got to be Jabba. I am going to say Han to Jabba. It is not. It is C-3PO in A New Hope. Really? Is he talking to... Are you talking to R2? I assume so. What a fiend. That or someone in the Jawa thing. The mountain. Is that when he is... He might actually be pissed off at R2 because he laughs. Yeah. So, 3 to Jake. Advantage here. I guess every once in a while both suns shine on a womp rat's tail. There is a lot of them it could be. He said you guess every once in a while both suns shine on a womp rat's tail, which obviously twins sons. Okay, it is in the Mando show, isn't it? What is the mechanic's name? I do not know. It is the mechanic. I do not know what her name is. It is Vance. You were right about me and Lauren. It is Cobb Vance he said. Oh, I do remember. Cobb Vance. I would not have gotten that. 3-2. Back to you, Crensh. You cannot stop change any more than you can stop the suns from setting. This could be anybody, man. All I have got to say is you have got to get this because the next one is really easy. Have I ever told you the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise? I thought not. It is a story. Do I tell the listeners the paper that I once turned in for a college? Did everyone have a commercial break? Oh, man. Who could this be? I do not know. I do not know. I do not know. Oh, man. Who could this be? Who would be trying to stop? Yo, let us go Padme. Jake? For the memes. For which one? This one. Do you know? It is the twin sun something. Yeah. You cannot stop change any more than you can stop the suns from setting. I have no idea. It is actually Shmee Skywalker. The Anakin. I had a female. Yeah, you are right. No. All right. Women always figure out the truth. Always. I am so low. It is not me. Five, three. Hey, that is the truth. Okay. What is our score? Five, three. I do not know how many left, so you have got to start picking it up. I do not want your armor. I want my armor. Sponge. This is easy. Is this Mando? It is the Mando show, yeah. Yeah, so Boba Fett. Yeah. No, no, no. I was going to say. No, shut. He said, is it Mando? And then. Is it is Mando? Ridiculous. What the hell? I am going to show you. Give this to him. Five, four. Let's go. Stupid. He goes, is it Mando? Yes, it is in the show. Oh, it is Boba Fett. Stupid. Okay, here we go. In my experience, there is no such thing as luck. Han Solo. No, wait, no. No, wait, no. Hold on. Oh. It is Obi Wan. It is old Obi Wan. Sorry. I gave him a look. Okay, so now you are even in hints because I did stare at you a while. All right. We are even. It is old Obi Wan. It is Obi Wan. Absolutely. Because Han Solo, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba Fett, Boba
