Three radio hosts discuss various topics related to football, including favorite teams, upcoming games, and the injury of Aaron Rodgers. My name is Gaby Redman, here today with Parker Gallagher, K.V. Rivers, and we are going to be talking some football, maybe some baseball, maybe some basketball, we'll see where it goes. We're going to start with some quick introductions, where you're from, favorite sport, favorite team. I'll start with you, Parker. Hi, my name is Parker Gallagher, I'm from New York, so I'm unfortunately a New York Giants fan, and I cannot wait to cry later on this series about the Giants. Respectable. K.V.? Hi, my name is K.V. Rivers, I'm from Indian Trail, North Carolina, and my favorite sport is football. My favorite football team is the Seattle Seahawks, and I can't wait to talk about them boys. So true. My name is Gaby, obviously. My favorite sport is baseball or basketball. I was forced to get into basketball, and I liked it way more than I thought I would, but my favorite teams are the Warriors and the Giants. And before you call me a bandwagon, my dad's from there, so you can't call me a bandwagon. Respect, respect. You're a Yankees fan, I could boo you right back. Just to start us off, we'll talk about what games we're excited to watch going into this next weekend in football. I'll start with K.V. on this one. Alright, um, let's talk about the Chiefs and the Jags. The Chiefs and the Jags. Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, they just played in the playoff last season, and it was actually a really, really good game. Obviously the Chiefs won. This time around, the Jags will look to get some revenge, and I'm excited for it. How about you guys feel about that? Yeah, we're going to talk more about that later, the lineups for that game. Good competition. Parker, what about you? I'm really excited to see Jets-Cowboys next week. The defense for the Cowboys looks, I guess is the right word for it, unbeatable, impenetrable. And the Jets just have a lot of hype this season, you know, they're filming hard knocks, so we're going to in-depth look at them. Unfortunate events last weekend, or should I say Monday, with Aaron Rodgers in them. So I'm listing that as Parker's game of the week. Parker's game of the week. Jets-Cowboys. Awesome. That's another one we're going to get into. Aaron Rodgers is obviously a big topic of conversation going into the rest of the season, honestly. Christian showed me that video the other day in class of his, like, what is it, his Achilles just like ripping in half, and that was the worst video that I've ever seen in my whole life. Did you guys see that? I'm sure you did. Yeah, I know. It was like painful to just watch. We got about 20 seconds, so quickly tell me your favorite game from last week. Go first. Man, there's a lot. I don't know. Chiefs Dolphins. Or, sorry, Chargers Dolphins last week. Chargers Dolphins, yeah. I mean, I only like the Cowboys game, because my giant sucks. You were listening to WCCU. We are going to start it off with Aaron Rodgers, obviously probably the hottest discussion right now, towards Achilles in the first, how long did it take for him to get injured in that game? Four plays. Four plays. Yeah, exactly. The Jets got him already, man. The Jets curse. So, do you guys think this is going to end his career? Do you think he's going to retire if he's going to be out the whole time? I'll send it to Parker. Honestly, I don't know if this is going to send him, you know, into retirement and join Tom Brady and all the other legends like Eli Manning, the GOAT. However, I do think it would be the smart choice just to end it that way, although it's unfortunate. Nobody wants to go out like that. Nobody wants to go out just because of injuries, and we've seen so many times how this is going to be a basketball relation, but with Derrick Rose, what could have been, what could have been. Aaron Rodgers already proved what he is. I think for his health, he's almost, what, 40? He is 40. He is 40. For his health, you know, just heal up and call it quits, but I feel like his ego is going to get the best of him, and he's probably going to want to come back for a few more seasons, but I just don't think he's built like that, you know? Yeah. He's not no Tom Brady where you can just go until he's 45. I feel like a lot of players want to do that, especially like it's the first game of the season. You were expecting to have a whole full season, but I don't know how football works, but In baseball, people would just come back and play one more game and then retire, but I don't know if you can do that in football. Do you think that's something he would do? I think they would probably allow him to do that, you know, but I think he wanted just a full season to show that he can compete, and the Jets really loaded up. They were all in this year, and for that to happen to your leader and your veteran, it's demoralizing. Yeah. There. KV? I think he won't retire, and I don't think he needs to. I know he tore his ACL. I know he's 40, you know, all that, but I've seen some guys who've had, that they've torn that same muscle, had that same injury, maybe even worse, and they've come back and they've done just fine, regardless of age or whatever, but yeah, I do think he'll come back. The Jets had all the hype this year, all season. It was Jets this, Jets that, Aaron Rodgers this. They were so happy to get him. Just for him to go down just like that? Nah. Aaron, I've watched him for too long. I know enough to know, like, to this point, like, you know, he's not done. He's going to come back. I expect him to be back 2020, excuse me, 2024. I expect him to be back. You know, just to go off that a little bit, you mentioned how you've seen this type of injury before. Gaby, you watch a lot of basketball, too, right? Kevin Durant ruptured his Achilles, and he came back and he's fine. However, my only argument is Aaron Rodgers isn't Kevin Durant. Aaron Rodgers is a 40-year-old dad, so I think the recovery process and the rehabilitation is going to just be a little bit different for him, so that's why I'm betting on retirement. Hang it up. Hang up the cleats, Aaron Rodgers. Go home. Enjoy your family. Yeah, they're also very physically different sports, so that's a different thing. It's like Kevin Durant has to do a lot of running training, just running back and forth up and down the court, and so that's kind of an easy way to get back into it. A lot of stopping, you know, and juking, whatever. Aaron Rodgers isn't a mobile quarterback. He's not doing all that, but he can be. Yeah, but building off of that, how do you guys think the Jets season is going to go after this injury? Different quarterback, completely different than how the rest of the team was expecting outside of Aaron Rodgers. Well, I think we're going to see a little bit of the same thing we saw last year. Obviously, the quarterback they have now taking over for Rodgers, he was their guy last year that they counted on, and it didn't go as well as they wanted it to. They only won seven games. They missed the playoffs. The defense was unreal as ever, still unreal to this day, but I think we're kind of going to see the same thing we saw last season. Maybe they'll make the playoffs this time around, maybe not, but we'll have to see. Do we know what their record was last year? Seven and ten. Seven and ten. So their defense was really great last year as well. It's going to be a reoccurring thing this year. They added a lot for offense as well. Like I said, they're all in this year, and then with their leader and their quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, going down, you just have the backup, Zach Wilson. Honestly, not that bad. It could be a lot worse. If Aaron Rodgers would have never signed this offseason, they still got all these other weapons, and you have Zach Wilson as a quarterback, that's still a positive. They're still going to be really good. Contention for a Super Bowl? Maybe not, but at least maybe even beating their record of seven and ten. Maybe ending it at even, but very hopeful for the future for them. Yeah, fair. Okay, we'll move on. We're going to go to the Chiefs-Jags game this week. Mahomes and Trevor Lawrence, they played each other in the AFC rematch where the Chiefs won 27-20. Just how do you guys think that's going to go? Who do you think is going to come out on top? Call me crazy, but I got the Jacksonville Jaguars this week. Wow. I love T-Ball. They added a lot of weapons. They got a lot of guys on offense and defensive side, and they're hungry, man. I know they're mad about last year's playoffs matchup, so I know they're going to come in and get a dub this week. You're not crazy, you're insane. Patrick Mahomes just lost to the Lions. Crazy game, by the way. And you're not going to at least think that Patrick Mahomes is coming for blood for the Jaguars, too? I mean, maybe, but after last week's performance, it wasn't him that was the problem that game. It was those wide receivers. Yeah, they can't catch. Yeah, they can't catch. They can't catch cold, man. Can't catch cold. So, yeah, they struggled. I mean, they might have Travis Kelsey back next week. That's a big addition. So that might also boost them to victory, but I'm still taking Jacksonville Jaguars. I am a little biased, though. I do have Patrick Mahomes in fantasy, so I hope he comes for blood, because I need some points. I need to win. I'm counting on T-Law, too. Yeah? Wow, look at that. I do think, just because of the Chiefs' reputation, Jacksonville being Jacksonville, they'll do Jaguar things. I'll give you a score, too. I feel like I'm feeling really generous. 31-17, Kansas City. Blowout. I'm going to go 35-31, Jacksonville. Again, that's a little back and forth. A little close game, huh? Yeah. I'm not going to give you a score, but I'll give you—first of all, I'm biased, because I'm from Kansas, so I'm going to have to say the Chiefs, obviously. You're from Kansas? You didn't know that? Did you mention that in the intro? No, I did not. That's wild. Well, yeah, I'm from Kansas, K-U. You know, that's my home city. City? Would you consider that a city? I don't know. Anyways, also, it must feel real bad coming off of a Super Bowl win to come and lose at the end of the game, too. Yeah, spoiled the ring ceremony. Yeah, that's got to hurt. So I feel like they're going to be coming for blood, like you said. I think they're just going to—I don't know what the score is going to be, unlike you guys, but we'll see. We'll see. We can move on to the Eagles versus Vikings, another game that we were talking about being a good one, because there's tension between Justin Jefferson and Darius Slay from the last game that they played each other. Jefferson ended the game with six catches for 48 yards, and Slay had a pair of interceptions. How do you think they're going to play? I know Justin Jefferson specifically said that it was going to be a good matchup in an interview, so what are you guys thinking? Oh, man. Just by watching the Eagles last week and the Vikings last week, just from last season altogether, honestly, I think we're going to get the same thing we got last year. I think Darius Slay is going to win the matchup. He might catch two more interceptions, maybe three. I don't know. I just don't trust the rest of that offense outside of Justin Jefferson. Kirk Cousins, he's an okay QB, but at the end of the day, those Eagles are just too good. I think we're going to get the same thing we saw last year, another Eagles win, but a convincing win at that. KB, you're talking about Darius no-play Slay? Whoa, whoa, whoa. No-play Slay? He just had a pick-six last Sunday. Good for him. But Justin Jefferson is going to hit the witty all over the end zone on Slay this coming Sunday. Even the Vikings. Wow. The Vikings, that's it? And I also have Justin Jefferson on my fantasy team. Oh, right. But hang on, hear me out. He is the best. He went number one in almost every single fantasy league. Go ahead and bench him next week. Go ahead and bench him. Just go ahead and do that. Yeah? No, I'll never do that. All right. When he finishes with 4.2 points, I don't want to hear nothing. 4.2 points. You think Darius Slay is going to lock him up that bad? The whole team, bro. We've been talking some football. We're going to keep talking a little bit more football. There's a few games that we want to talk about because there are some sensitive subjects for these, too. Parker's going to be talking about football. Parker's really passionate about the Giants-Cowboys game. Parker, if you want to go ahead with that. Where do I start with Giants-Cowboys? The whole fan base wants to jump ship right away, which I don't blame them for because that was an embarrassing loss. As I, like, watched it the first half, it looked like this whole – you know how, like, everybody says the NFL was, like, scripted and all this and that? That literally looked fake. That whole entire game looked fake. Every single time Shaquan Barkley touched the ball, any time that Daniel Jones dropped back, it was some kind of negative play. There was one play, I think, even in, like, the fourth quarter where Daniel Jones, like, threw out to the flat, and it looked like finally we were going to get into field goal range to get three on the board. And one of the Dallas Cowboys defenders just came up, boop, and hit the ball right out of his hands with his helmet, and they returned that. And I was like, dude, like, why? I was like, why is, first of all, Daniel Jones in there? He's our franchise quarterback. He's going to get hurt. He's playing in the rain. There's just a multitude of things that, as a Giants fan, make you, like, internally cry. And the play I can get over, but keeping Daniel Jones in – maybe it was him trying to prove to, like, you know, the fan base or whoever that, you know, he got it. He's the quarterback. He's the leader. I'm in this mess. I'm going to get us out. But either way, it's stupid because he could get injured, and then right there our whole season's done. But also the back of the fan base's mind, we've got to keep in mind that it's one game. We still have 16 more to go. So it doesn't define us. I just hope that the morale is higher for next week. Yeah, I'm not a Giants fan, but, man, that game was tough to watch. Even from the opening drive, just – you guys try to kick a field goal, start off the game, and then it just got blocked. And then they took it back for a touchdown. And I knew from there, I was like, oh, this one's just not going to be pretty. I'm not going to be pretty. But on another note, man, I kind of feel the same way about my CLC August day. They lost to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday by a score of 30-13. We got outscored 23-0 in the second half. That was very, very depressing to watch. Just figuring that we came into the season with high hopes, you know, obviously making the playoffs, even potentially winning a Super Bowl. But week one was just not a great start to the season. And hopefully they come back next week, bounce back, you know, we show up and we show out. Sunday was definitely, definitely disappointing for a lot of fan bases. What do you think is – like, what is your expectation for the rest of the Seahawks season? Like, what do you want to see going – like, your best-case scenario, but realistic? Best-case scenario, I think we win – we somehow win 10 games. We finish 10-7. I think that's respectable for us, especially what we added this offseason. We had two big first-round draft picks. We got loaded up on offense, loaded up on defense. Added a bunch of more guys in the free agency and everything. So I'm expecting, obviously, playoffs. And then we will at least win a game. And then somewhere in between, like, the second or third round, if we lose, that's understandable. That's my expectation for this season. I would love a Super Bowl win. Another one. What about you all? I know. It's been 10 years since my guys won one. So I'd love another one, though. What about you, Parker? What's the best-case scenario for the Giants? Best-case? Win a game? I mean, make the playoffs again, at least. Yeah. You know, it's way too early. But a way too early prediction, I'd say, you know, we'd make the playoffs and maybe get bounced again like last year to the Eagles in the second round. But, yeah, we've got to see how they handle this big loss first, you know, and then go from there. Seeing how they go into next week will say a lot about the projection of the rest of their season, I think. Yeah. The Seahawks, though, looking pretty sharp. I like Geno Smith a lot. He proved himself last season that he's a competitor. He's going right back. Yeah. They wrote him off. He didn't write back. That was a great quote. He reminds me of, like, an older Jameis Winston for comparison. Some quarterbacks, you know, their plays look similar, but I also like their attitudes. So, the Seahawks, you know, I like them a lot. I like Geno. I think they have potential to be some pretty good over there in Seattle. Yeah, appreciate it, man. I feel the same way about the Giants. Don't let this be going game. Don't let it tell the whole story, man. Them boys are going to be back playing hard. Man, they won a lot of games last year. I didn't go out. I was kind of shocked. I was kind of shocked. Yeah, it was. Yeah. They beat the Vikings, man. They got to the playoffs. They beat the Vikings. They beat Gritty Man. They beat Gritty Man. He was talking all that talk. No, Gwitty. They beat Gwitty, man. He was talking all that talk. And I was like, oh, no. Give me those Giants, man. They did the thing. But if we go 0-2, I'm just going to convert to a cricket fan instead of football. I'll just, you know, stop. Don't count them out yet, man. Don't count them out. They're taking a big turn. KV, you're a Knicks fan, right? We were talking about that during the break. Oh, Lord, yeah. I do know, just as better as anybody else, that New York teams, you know, when we start to do bad, we'll just stop. Yeah, the Knicks are so mad. Oh, my God. Yeah, man. Don't get me started. Don't get me started. Yankees are falling down, too. We'll talk about that in the next segment, though. Literally 10 minutes ago, you guys were big beefing, and now you're like, oh, but your team is good, too. Big change. Big change. Yeah. But another good game from this week, well, kind of good, was the Niners versus the Steelers. KV, you've got passionate opinions about that. Do you think that the Niners are going to be able to keep this up, how they played this game? Or do you think it was just, like, first game energy, they did well, but? It's a combination of they are really, really talented. I will not take that away from them. But also, the opponent they play is not so talented. They're one bright star. His name is TJ Wise on the D-line. He had three sacks, a bunch of QB pressures. He did his job, but the rest of the team failed to do their part. And just watching that game, it was just ugly. It was just hideous. But the Niners, they're a really good football team. Will they keep up this play all season long? I don't think so. I don't think so. I think there are going to be times where they're looking a little rough, and they're going to fall apart a little bit. They'll still make the playoffs, obviously, unless there's some injuries here and there. But other than that, they're a great ball club. I can't stand them, but they're great. They're great. They're too good. They're just too good. Yeah. Parker? Yeah, I think the Niners are going to be contenders this year. They have a really, I think they have a top-five defense in the league. Their opponent, the Steelers, like Evie said, not the greatest, not the toughest opponent. So they kind of just walked all over the Steelers. As far as longevity goes, if people stay healthy, like Christian McCaffrey, their defense, etc., they can make a deep run and give – what division are they in? Oh, my gosh. Would they play the Chiefs? The NFC. They're in the Seahawks division, actually. Seahawks? I can't stand them. Who's on top of that division? Anybody else besides the 49ers? It's literally San Francisco, then Seattle, and then we've got the Cardinals. Nah, yeah. And the Rams. Son. Yeah, I still think the 49ers will go contend. They stay healthy. They'll have a really good season. It wasn't even that big of a blowout, too, for the 49ers, right, versus the Steelers? I mean, they did what we expected them to do. Yeah, I think they handled business. They got it done. I think it's – not to overlook it, but also at the same time, it's whatever. They won. Yeah. Go do it again next week. Who are they playing next week? Oh, man. I don't even – Oh, okay. Yeah, but crazy fact about that game. Trent Williams, their starting left tackle, man, he had some comments. He was like, man, just as that game's going on, our defense, man, they're just shutting them down. They can't do anything on offense. It was almost like I'm praying for them to do something good on offense so we can get this game going. It could be more interesting. I'm like, wow, that's something insane to say. Begging? You're cheering for the other team at that point? Begging the opposition to do something. That's insane. That's sad. The 49ers are playing the Rams next week. Okay, so the Rams. I mean, they're not – the Rams aren't even that good this year either. Is it a step up from the Steelers? Probably, but right now I feel like it's a very weak beginning schedule for the 49ers. We're going to move into some baseball because the wild card is looking real crazy right now. There's about six teams for both divisions, NL and AL. We're going to start with the AL, Parker's team. I really don't think the Yankees are going to make it. I'm just going to start it off with that. But the teams that are still in the running for AL are the Tampa Bay Rays, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox, and New York Yankees. The New York Yankees and Boston are tied at 73-72, right below Toronto. So who are the three teams that you guys think are going to come out of the wild card? I will start with KV. Let me see. Honestly, I really can't decide between New York and Boston right now. Although New York just recently lost one of their best players, Dominguez. He was a 20-year-old prospect they just brought up. He was doing so well. He had hit four homers in like seven games, and then he went down. So I think it's going to hurt them a good bit because he was the reason why they got back into the wild card position. So I think Boston is probably going to get in there, maybe Toronto. I can't decide. You're talking about Dominguez, right? A Martian. A guy that's out of this world, that came in almost... Oh, shut up. Talking death beam pointing at the earth. Who do I want in the Yankees' outfield position? I want the Martian, Jason Dominguez. However, he just blew out his UCL. Aaron just, you know, I'll give him his glaze. But the Martian, man, I want some baby bombers on this team. We need young people. Josh Donald, stinky poo, hated him. Unfortunately, got rid of Bader. However, we're working with what we got. We have a lot of great potential in the minor leagues and et cetera. Very unfortunate he's injured. However, like he said, and I appreciate you for saying this, would not be in the position we are in now without him. Yankees, Red Sox, going to be a great series, a must-watch series. The rivalry dates back all the way to the early 1900s of baseball. And Gabe, you are a Red Sox fan, correct? They're my AL team, but I'm a Giants fan. Oh, that's right. Apologize. I'm literally wearing the shirt right now. I apologize that you have that bad taste in sports teams. Okay. It should be a great series, and obviously I'm rooting for the Yankees. But, you know, it would just be crazy because this is up for grabs here in the AL East. It is just... Now, how does the rules work? Because you said, Gabe, that they changed the rule for wild card. Yeah, so the top two teams with the best records have buys to the ALDS. So that would be the Orioles and the Astros. And then the bottom four teams, so one of the division winners and then the three wild cards, they play in the first round, which is the wild card. Okay. So the top three division winners, that third division winner is going to have to play a wild card. The top two get the buys. So, like, if they stand now, either Yankees or Red Sox would have to verse the Blue Jays and wild card best of three. Yeah, and then the other two teams would match up, too. But if the season ended today, it would be Mariners, Twins, and then Rangers, Rays. Why would it not go? Because I'm familiar with, like, other playoff seedings. Why would it not go, like, Orioles versus whoever won that wild card game? Well, that would be the next round. Yeah, that's the next round. But they get buys automatically in the division. Yeah, the two best records in all of the conference, they get a first round buy. Yeah. So, like, Orioles get a buy, Twins get a buy, Astros get a buy? Astros get a buy. Yeah, just Twins have to play the wild card. Yeah, because they had a third best record. They weren't top two. Of the American League. Yeah, it's the whole conference. I thought it was by conference. Just like the NL, too. Like, the Braves and the Dodgers are the top two records. So they'll have the first round buy. Everybody else will have to play. Oh, I see. Okay, I follow. Oh, baseball. Sports. I love it. I love baseball. I'm getting into it. I really think that whoever wins, it's really going to come down to their schedule. Because both these teams have proven that they can hold their own to an extent. They're both almost 500. So, like, they're not the best, but they've still held their own throughout the season. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts for me to say this. But the Yankees are playing the Royals for their last series of the game. For their last series of the season. And we already took two games to even the records right now. Yeah, and if it's tied, because you guys will, I think, over the course of the entire season. The first tiebreaker, so if you guys are tied all together, the first round of tiebreaks is your record against the team that you're tied with. So, I think the Yankees have won more games against the Red Sox. So, you guys would automatically go if it ended in a tie. If you guys made it past the other teams that are there. But I think that the Red Sox and the Yankees both have better playoff runs in the past. So, towards the end of the season, they'll tend to just go off. We do have to play Toronto, though, at the same time. My boy Brandon Belt is going to break your heart. Who do the Red Sox play for their last couple of games? They play the Orioles. So, that's why I'm not too confident. So, it's the same kind of deal with the Blue Jays, Yankees, blah, blah, blah. Yeah. I mean, hey, they play tonight and tomorrow at 7 o'clock, the Red Sox, Yankees. It's a great series. I think no matter what, it's going to be interesting to watch, even if you don't like baseball as much. Definitely got to tune in. But we'll move on to the NL. Another good division, obviously. This is my favorite division. I personally think the NL is significantly better than the AL. They changed the rules, so they're the same now, which is dumb. I don't like designated hitters. My boy Jock Peterson doesn't play on the field, like, ever. He plays maybe two games every 100. So annoying. So heartbreaking. Love Jock. But the teams that are still in the running for that are the Phillies, the Cubs, the Diamondbacks. I'm so mad the Diamondbacks made it. Cincinnati, Miami, and San Francisco. Hey, give the Diamondbacks some credit. They've made their way back up into a respectable baseball organization. At the end of last year, Bennett, somebody else who's on Sports Uncaged, he was like, the Diamondbacks are just going to go off this year. And me and Jackson looked at him, and we were like, you're stupid. You're so stupid. And then that take was right. Lo and behold. I just still have that anger in me. Well, I mean, they're 76-70. They, like, blew up. But, like, last season, they were nowhere near that good. Yeah. The records, man, these records, don't let these records fool you. Some of these teams, they can come in and just ball out. Yeah. Man, last year, I remember the Braves got the first round by, and they ran to Philly in the second. The Phillies, they were horrible all year, but then they got hot at the right time. We met them. We met them for that second-round series. Lost in five. Yeah. It was in Bears. In Bears. Don't let the records fool you, man. I was rooting for the Phillies last year, though. I was so mad that they lost. I didn't want either one of them. But. I'm a Philly hater, so. Eagles, Flyers, Phillies, it's all the same. But that's another thing is, like you were saying, none of these teams have really, like, they're not crazy good teams. They all have run differentials that are in the negatives. Do you guys know what that is? Yeah. Yeah. That's ugly. Like, it's negative 60 for Miami, negative 8 for San Francisco, negative 36 for Cincinnati. Like, that's awful. But, I don't know, who are your guys' three teams for this one? National League, I'm going to go Philly. I'm going to go with top three, Philly, Chicago, Arizona. Oh. Sorry. Arizona, no, they got a squad there, man. They got some guys, like, they got a roster. Wait, KB for what? Top three for what? The wildcard. Oh, wildcard. Yeah, the wildcard, yeah. Yeah, I'm going to go Philly, Cubs, and the Diamondbacks, honestly. Grab that. Yeah. Yeah, that's who I got. Okay. Well, give me the Marlins, because I'm definitely not taking the Phillies. I'll go Cubbies. I like the Cubs. How about the Reds? Oh, wait, the Reds are. Yeah, they got Elodie LaCruz. Yeah, I don't know. I like them. No, all right. Marlins, Reds. Sorry, Cubbies. And I'll do Diamondbacks as well. Yeah. Ooh. I really do like the Reds there. I forgot that team was a thing. I don't know what. I don't know if they didn't concede a future or whoever said that. The Diamondbacks, man, they have a nice roster, dude. I'm actually, like, if they actually make it and we have to play them, my Braves, I'd be pretty scared. Yeah. The Braves were just amazing. Like, you thought that they were going to be amazing, but losing Dan Z. Swanson, I even was sad about that. I like him on the Braves, but, I mean, that's why the Cubs are doing well, so I'll give it to the Cubs. But my three, I'm going to go the Phillies, I'm going to go the Cubs, and I'm going to obviously have to say San Francisco. But they're all within five games of each other. But we're going to circle back at some point next semester to see where our predictions got us. I'm going to go ahead and start with KV because he looks ready. All right. For my 2024 NBA finals matchup prediction, I'm going to take the Denver Nuggets out of the Western Conference, I think. Again? Yeah, again, because the joke is he played out of his mind last year. I mean, anybody that played them, they just didn't stand a chance. They just didn't. I mean, he beat the Timberwolves in five. He beat the Suns in six. He beat the Lakers in four. Sorry. And then in the finals, he beat the Heat in five. And that Heat team was no slouch. They were really good. I know they were an eight seed, but they were a really good eight seed. But, yeah, I got Denver making it. And then in the East, I'm going to go Milwaukee because I just find it hard to go against Giannis, like, that dude. Yeah, he's huge. He's a monster. He's a baller. And, man, you know, Giannis and Jokic, they both have a ring, but who gets the second one? I'm going to go with the Bucs. I love Giannis. If it was that, I'd be with you for sure, 100%. Yeah, I got Milwaukee winning it all. Well, you definitely kept it a Buc, like a whole different Buc. Oh, yeah. I always try. I always try. In the East, the thing is with the NBA today, it's so competitive. I'm going to go with the Celtics in the finals at least. Give me the Celtics. Wait, do they have Porzingis now? Don't give me the Celtics. I forgot because I remember Porzingis. We were talking about that at the break. Now he's got, like, Planter's Feliciitis or whatever. He's got flat feet. So now he, like, can't play. So they just wasted millions. So don't give me them. I don't want to say Miami again, but Miami is going to be up there. Either Miami, maybe even – Don't say Philly because – Do I dare you to say the Cavs? The Cavs? No, they lost to the Knicks last year. But if you were right, that would be a crazy thing to say. It's either going to be Miami or the Cavs, but for, you know, sanity's sake, I'll say Miami Heat. And then out in the West, Nuggets or Lakers maybe. I like how deep the Lakers are making their bench. Yeah, so give me Miami Lakers. We'll do a 2020 bubble rematch. Ooh, the Lakers show. If the Lakers win, I'm quitting sports. Yeah, I wouldn't like it. I'm just putting that out there right now. I'm going to go – see, I want to say the Wizards, but none of us have any faith in them. Like, that would just be funny. I just like – that's just me being a loyal fan. At the end of the day, at least I can say that much. I'm going to steal yours, and I'm going to say the Bucs, I think, just because I like the way they played last year. I think they have potential to make it further. Giannis, you know, can't really doubt him. And I got to say my boys. I got to say my Golden State Warriors. I mean, it's not crazy.
