Nothing to say, yet
This Bible study is about the importance of having a special agent or helper sent by God to assist us in achieving our goals. This person can be multi-talented or skilled in areas where we struggle. The story of Moses and the battle against the Amalekites is used as an example. When Moses lifted his hands, the Israelites were winning, but when he grew tired, they started losing. Aaron and Oral helped Moses by holding his hands up, and the Israelites won the battle. Another example is Bezalel, who was chosen by God to assist Moses in building the Ark of the Covenant. Bezalel was described as a skilled craftsman with expertise in various areas. The prayer is that God will send us our own Bezalel, someone who can help us achieve our goals using their skills, time, and resources. The study concludes with a prayer for God to send us a special agent and an invitation to visit the website for more resources. Hello and we welcome you to join this chariot for a 5 minute Bible study. This fortieth episode on A Step of Faith is titled, Special Agent. My name is Greg Alabi and I'm inviting you to come let us study the Bible together. One of the greatest blessings that God Almighty can give us when we want to take a step of faith to accomplish a worthwhile goal is for God Almighty himself to send us a multi-talented, well-experienced person with a vast knowledge of the subject matter, an expert that is gifted in many areas, possessing several skills, a person who is almost a jack-of-all-trades. One such a person gets this idea that he or she has an assignment to you to assist in achieving that goal, he is in your corner ensuring that all goes well, using his time and resources and skills dedicated to you and your mission, that is an angel in flesh and blood. Give such, in Jesus name. Also this kind of special agent may not necessarily be such a multi-talented person but is very good in fixing areas that we may be struggling with, areas that are a challenge to us or he may be there to jump start us or move us in the right direction or take us to the next level or bring us our desired breakthrough, that one special angel in flesh and blood, that special agent is an answer to our prayers, dear friends, when we want to take a step of faith to achieve a major thing in life, if God sends us a game changer, it makes the yoke easy and the burden light, it is my prayer that you will be blessed with a God sent helper in Jesus name. Can I hear you say Amen? Now let us learn some valuable lessons from Moses, Exodus chapter 17 verse 8 to 14. The Amalekites were at war against the Israelites. As long as Moses lifted up his hands to heaven, the Israelites were winning the battle, but when he was exhausted and dropped his hands, the Amalekites would have the upper hand. So Aaron and Oral gave Moses a stone to sit upon and held both hands of Moses up. The Israelites won the battle. My prayer is that God will send us men and women like Aaron and Oral to uphold our hands until we achieve total victory and success in Jesus name. Can I hear you say Amen to that? Later in that same chapter, chapter 31 of Exodus, the Lord told Moses regarding the construction of the Ark of Covenant, verse 2, the Lord said to Moses, I have called Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Ur, the son of Ur, to assist you. Bezalel was probably the grandson of Ur, one of the men who held up the hands of Moses to win the battle against the Amalekites. My prayer for you is that the Lord will send you a generation of families who are in position to use their time, their skills and their resources to move your life forward and assist you in achieving your goal in Jesus name. Can I hear you say Amen to this? Now let us learn some valuable lessons on the caliber of person that Bezalel was. This young man, Bezalel, the message translation describes him this way, I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him skills and know-how and expertise in every kind of crafts, to create designs and work in gold and silver and bronze, to cut and set gemstones, to carve woods. He is an all-round craftsman. The lesson, notice what verse 2 of Exodus chapter 31 says, it says, See, I have called by name Bezalel, the new international version says, See, I have chosen Bezalel. Dear friends, I want to agree with you in prayer that that task that you are currently working on or intend to start of, that God will send you your own Bezalel. That one man, the game changer, that one man that God has called and chosen whose assignment and his calling is to use all his skills, talents, time, resources, wisdom and all that God has deposited in him to help you achieve your goal. Let us pray. Father, thank you for the lessons we are learning. Father, we pray that you give us gifted men, a special agent who will take it up as a calling to ensure using his skills, his talents, his technical know-how to help us achieve our goals in Jesus' name. Receive your own Bezalel in the name of Jesus, Amen. I want to invite you to visit our website gregalabee.com, look for the podcast, listen to them. God bless you.
