Social media has its downsides, as it distracts my generation from schoolwork and proper sleep. It also creates stress due to the images we see online and the unrealistic view of other people's lives. Technology, despite its benefits, is contributing to the mental health crisis among students. I wonder what role technology will play in higher education in the future. And as for social media, we're recognizing more and more that for all the benefits of technology, social media has many downsides. So my generation spends too much time on social media and our phones, which can be a distraction to schoolwork and getting proper sleep. So that contributes to stress. And there's also the stress that comes from the images we see online and what we're supposed to aspire to, girls and guys, as well as the unrealistic views of other people's lives that appear to be so much better or more popular than our own. So for all of the benefits of technology that we have, it's also contributing to the mental health crisis among students, which leads me to my next question. What role do you see technology playing in the future of higher education?
