This shift is impacting social and economic indicators in the region. This is West Africa, a territory outlined by the Atlantic and the Sahara, swamped in blood and tears, a womb of salt and gold. What was once a land of kingdoms has become a fertile soil for the traffic of precious stones and people. It once fuelled the development of the West by the breath of people to human life. However, these West Africa outlooks have started to change, and the outlooks are already seen as social and economical indicators.
