In this podcast, Gwen discusses the importance of addressing mental health, particularly among younger generations. She highlights the need for open conversations about mental health and the acceptance of needing help. The episode focuses on the prevalence of diagnosed mental illness among students at King's High School and explores ways to improve existing protocols. Gwen acknowledges that King's already has good measures in place but seeks suggestions for further enhancements. Hi, my name is Gwen, and welcome to my podcast. In this podcast, we are going to be talking about the wonderful world of mental health. I feel like it's really important to talk about mental health, especially with younger generations and younger people in general, because it's okay to not be okay, and it's okay to need help. In this particular episode, we are going to be talking about how many students in King's High School have a diagnosed mental illness and what we can do to better accommodate them. I'm not saying that King's doesn't already have good protocols in place that deal with mental health, but we're just going to see what people suggest and what we can do to make those protocols we already have in place better.
