Shalom precious one, God bless you for tuning in to Radio HCI today. and for being a part of the Just Ended Prayer Startup. Privileged to be facilitating this morning's glory devotion are Pastor and Mrs. Bruce Smith from Harvest Chapel International Kumasi. Let us kindly share a word of prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the privilege to hear your word. Please open our eyes to behold thy wondrous things, in thy law, in Jesus name, Amen. Please let us kindly take our confession from Joshua 1 verse 8. Joshua 1 verse 8 This book of the Lord shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe thee according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen. Our theme for this morning's glory devotion is Sing Unto The Lord. Sing Unto The Lord and our scripture reading will be taking from Psalm 95 verse 1 to 7. Psalm 95 verse 1 to 7 and I'll be reading from the New Living Translation. Come, let us sing to the Lord. Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come to Him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to Him. For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods. He holds in His hand the depth of the earth and the mightiest mountains. The sea belongs to Him, for He made it. His hands formed the dry land too. Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker, for He is our God. We are the people He watches over, the flock under His care. This is the reading of the word. Thanks be to God. Sing Unto The Lord Singing has always played an important role in the worship of God. God is a lover of songs and all throughout the Bible, He beseeches us to sing unto Him. One may say, I do not have a nice voice. Does God expect me to sing too? Would my song be accepted by God? The answer is an emphatic yes. God loves to hear His children sing and He comes alongside us through His blessed Holy Spirit to facilitate this wonderful ministry of singing unto our Creator by filling our hearts with Spirit-filled songs and our duty is to cooperate and just sing unto Him. When you wake up from bed and you find that song bubbling up in your spirit, do not push it aside. It is your Father beckoning you to come and spend some time with Him. Sing unto Him. When that song drops in your spirit, whilst you are on your way to class or work, respond to God's invitation to fellowship by singing. When cooking in the kitchen, do not postpone that prompting to sing to another time. God loves to hear your voice. The good news, beloved, is God is not as much concerned about how melodious your voice is as to the genuineness and sincerity of your heart. When your heart is attuned to God, when the song stems out from the heart in praise and worship, that is the sweetest music that ever reaches the ear of God, rising unto Him as a sweet-smelling sacrifice, and He delights in it. There are over a thousand and one reasons to sing unto the Lord, and our scripture reading today sheds light on some of them. We sing to the Lord because He is the Rock of our salvation. He is the Great God and the Great King above all gods. He is our Maker and the Creator of all things. He is our God and our Provider. We find all these references from Psalm 95 verse 1 to 7. In effect, we can sing unto the Lord in appreciation of His work of salvation in our lives. We can sing about His greatness. We can declare His wonders and creativity in songs unto Him. We can sing in appreciation to the fact that we are His people and also in gratitude to His constant provision. Precious one, have you sung unto the Lord yet? Let us make it a habit of daily singing unto the Lord, for it is a good thing and it pleases our King. Amen. It's time to take our memory verse, and our memory verse for today shall be taken from Psalm 95 verse 1. Psalm 95 verse 1 O come, let us sing to the Lord. Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Psalm 95 verse 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord. Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Amen. Let us kindly share a word of prayer. Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for Your Word that has come unto us this morning. We pray for the grace of God and the consciousness to always sing unto You as You delight in our songs. We give You praise. We give You glory. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. Amen. Beloved, God richly bless you for connecting with us for today's morning glory devotion. Do not change your dial.
