I'm Linda Fan, your co-host for today with Wilhelm. Let's introduce ourselves, what topics our podcast will cover, and our goals and plans for this podcast in the future. Sure. Hello everyone, we are Hopetalk, a team of five passionate high school students who want to share our knowledge and insights with the world. Hopetalk's overarching theme is the environment and eco-innovations. Since the Industrial Revolution in 1760, there has been immense changes to human utilization of resources, hence changing our Mother Earth. Hopetalk will speak about these changes, these alterations, their effects, the history and events that have led up to each, and what the future holds to counter problems and nourish potentials. Right, and we will also cover new inspirational technologies and agendas developed to accommodate human activity to limit its adverse effects on the environment and human life by extension. Speaking of inspiration, I would like to talk about how we came up with this idea. So Wilhelm and I attended a regenerative lifestyle and sustainability summer camp in the coastal city in Vietnam as counselors, and we got a chance to experience the zero-waste lifestyle. Honestly, it was a bit of a challenge to adapt with the unfamiliar situation until there was guidance from the experts from eco-friendly social enterprises. Yeah, right. Coming across many green-minded innovators and having the chance to interview them was such an honor for us. It became our source of inspiration for both our project and our daily lives, and we hope that you find it interesting and motivating as well. It is our intention to invite guest speakers, specialists, and different branches in the environmental science field. Since our podcasts are based in Vietnam, some of our podcasts will be in Vietnamese to accommodate the language barrier. The interviews with the experts will be revealed in upcoming episodes, so stay tuned. If you are a specialist and wish to collaborate with us, please reach out to us at hopetalk2023 at gmail.com. We truly appreciate it and will respond as soon as possible. Should you have any inquiries about the podcast, please feel free to message us on Facebook, Instagram, or via email in the description. This is Linda and Wilhelm signing off. Until next time, igniting hope, igniting change.
