I knew that the Rutgers Men's Soccer Club existed, but I don't really know what they do For example, I don't know if they practice with each other or play games Okay, let me explain a little bit more to you then. At Rutgers We got the Men's Soccer Sports Club run by students, funded by students and connected with Rutgers recreation They got two teams playing in yearly competitions. Tryouts happen in September to pick our squads and everyone gets a jersey They practice in both fall and spring, but the main games go down in the fall. Okay, let me ask some questions First of all, the mission of the team is to provide an inclusive and competitive athletic experience for a student body by fueling two teams that participate in the Region Division 1 New Jersey every year What do you think about the club mission to provide an inclusive and competitive athletic experience? How important do you think such an experience are for college students? It's often that the club wants everyone to join in no matter their skill level This makes every being inclusive and competitive means they are not just about winning games But also creating a place where all students can be a part of something special. That's good to hear Let me ask another question. Do you think targeting high school soccer players is a good strategy for recruiting new talent? Why or why not? I believe that being part of sports that are both inclusive and competitive is super important for college students Here's why it keeps them healthy and feeling good overall Also, the competitive side teaches them stuff like teamwork and not giving up which are useful in school and later jobs Plus it brings students from all backgrounds together creating a strong sense of community and school pride. That's really nice to hear Okay, let's play a game. I say some facts about the soccer club and you have to say if it's true or not Okay, let's do it. Let's start with a simple one. The Rutgers men's club soccer team start the season in August I'm not sure but I think that's true No, that's incorrect. But you are close. The season is from the first week of September to the end of the first week of October Let's do another one. The club consists of two teams team A and team B deciding during a three-day tryout each fall I would say that would be true That's correct Next one the men's soccer sports club at Rutgers only accept new players to a direct invitation from the head coach I think that would be false because you told earlier that there are tryouts.
