The host, Ivy Joy, shares a message about forgiveness on her show. She explains that forgiving someone doesn't mean what they did was okay or that they should still be in your life. It means releasing yourself from the burden of holding onto pain and learning from the experience. She encourages listeners to let go of grudges and move forward. Ivy Joy also mentions that her show will continue to play the best R&B and soul music on Friday night at 5. We have the best art and beat soul and throwback music right here for you to enjoy. Welcome back to the LMyGetDown with me your great host Ivy Joy on the Ivy Joy Show. Namaste. These love lies speak to you. So I heard something the other day and I agree and I want to share it with you guys. It said with me that anyone can hold a grudge but it takes a special individual with character to forgive. When you forgive you release yourself from a painful burden of holding that pain. Think about how heavy it must be to reflect on something that doesn't bring you joy. Forgiveness doesn't mean what happened to you is okay. We shared this before on the Ivy Joy Show but I want to reiterate it because it's important that you know that when you forgive you're actually helping yourself because it doesn't mean that what happened to you is okay forgiving it and it doesn't mean that the person should still be within your circle, within your arm's reach, within your realm, welcomed in your life. It just means that you have made peace with the pain and you let go of it. You learned your lesson. You grew through what you went through and it is what it is. You know what I'm saying. You dust yourself off and try to get like Aaliyah said. Listen, listen, listen, listen. Release that grudge baby. Thankful Thursday is yours. Continue to stay tuned to this channel. I'll see you on Friday night at 5. We'll be giving you that team of the best R&B soul and little raggage. Make sure you sit back, relax. 5 out of 5. It's joy.
