The Spontaneity Podcast is hosted by Gabe and Isaiah, who discuss various topics without a set plan. They talk about having their own baseball or Pokemon cards with unique stats and moves. They joke about famous people's cards, including Stephen Hawking and Owen Wilson. They also mention the movie "Cocaine Bear" and joke about getting Gabe on cocaine. They discuss the Oscars and express their disappointment with recent shows. ladies and gentlemen welcome to the spontaneity podcast I'm one of your host gave I am the other host Isaiah there are two of us for the foreseeable future yes until you know just the rapture happens and we'll see which one of us stays or one of us goes to jail yeah we'll see oh yeah yeah that's a possibility possibility anybody can go to jail unless you get that little card you know yeah I was gonna say don't not a green card yeah I don't have one of those because I love speaking of green it is indeed st. Patrick's Day the day of this recording and I don't have any green on and I'm kind of worried because my pinchers are out he's yeah he's looking ready to pinch I've got a bad feeling this episode is just gonna be half laughter it probably is it's meant to entertain so we're not here with you know any type of like a schedule or anything right we're just we're just here to talk for a little bit so the unique part about this podcast that sets it apart from others is we do not come in with a plan for speaking right oh I know is we might we might talk about oh dude we should talk about this on the podcast but we don't have a schedule for it where it's like this is what we're doing we're talking about this going into this you say this no it's just all banter and laughter that's all we're here for off the dome things that's going on in our lives yeah it makes it very realistic and it makes it believable it makes you feel like you know the third person outside of a conversation you just get to listen to everything right you don't feel like the person sitting on the couch next to us you feel like the person that's outside staring out the window wondering if they should call the police possibly having a camera watching this and yes and you might be working for some form of government I mean we do have an FBI agent watching this right now that's true shout out to I'm gonna guess their name is Cynthia Cynthia so you think yours is a female FBI agent I've got a feeling that tonight's gonna welcome I don't know that was going anyways we're we are here and we're recording our first episode and we have no idea what we are going to talk about and neither do you so that makes it equal playing field so yeah so I was just thinking oh last night yep in the shower good what if everybody had like their own kind of like baseball card but on the back they had their own specific stat sheet you don't know what it's gonna be like true but what would your stat sheet consist of right so like okay hold on so we're thinking of more baseball card or like Pokemon card I mean either or whatever card you want I think I'd go Pokemon card my abilities would probably have to do something with my form your form yes my physicality oh okay I think I think some members of the audience would understand that one but first special move jackhammer oh there it is baby one episode in no I think that's fair I think that would be a power move I think there would be a lot of strength behind it I mean it's earth-shattering almost that is true don't you be an earth type I think I'd be a yeah yeah that would be preferable perfect preferable what are the types of this fire I don't know there's like 30 of them fire I haven't water earth wind is a wind that avatar electric type lightning type oh I'm not that yeah no no I mean you're pretty electric I'm pretty quick yeah I'm a little slow you know if Cynthia was to send a group of agents after me I think I could run for maybe you'd get we got two exits out of here right now yeah one would probably break our legs I was talking about hopping on the balcony oh I was there's are too long oh you're right you're right too quick so you know you got to get there got it but but no dad so what was your card look like cuz I don't know I think I just have that move and that would be it you know I'll be honest with you like I feel like my card would literally just like it would just be a picture of me and then it would just be blank like there's there's nothing to it but you got a charm feature you gotta have like a little charm feature yeah you know what my move my other move would be what you know the Zoolander face yeah I could do that bro yours would just be 100% charm we what would other people's look like like famous wise famous wise yeah I mean do you think like Stephen Hawking had a car yeah like would he have like just a turbo mode where his chair would just you know well I think he'd be an electric type wait a minute speaking of your own do you think like Owen Wilson's car oh that's a good one have oh wow it's like a like a yes it's like a distraction tactic yep and then he'd have a Lightning McQueen transformed or he just drives and just yeah it's finishing move is to chow that would be pretty good I think I think ash should add that to his Pokemon collection and Owen Wilson right this is sounding very close to slavery right now I'm not sure that's a good thing yeah I think Jesus Christ would have resurrect yeah of course and I think I think he'd have yeah he'd have a sacrifice right type of sacrifice card yeah sacrifice move yeah yeah he died but he'll come back three rounds later right so like he dies for the entire team but whenever he comes back they're all redeemed there's so many controversial things we could say with this card it's like oh I know a figure in what their move would be Jared a Jared from subway card oh no so like my first instinct was bill Cosby car my first instinct was like a doll a gas type just like that we have been cancelled very fast no harm no harm intended anyway well have you seen cocaine bear not yet did you I haven't I was I was on spring break last week so I really didn't really it's all right so it's interesting because we've been talking about it non-stop ever since it's been announced have you met anybody who's actually seen it no that's that's what my point is I'm speaking about here is I haven't I've talked with so many people about the movie but I have not heard of anyone that's seen it including myself like it's been so hyped up and people are like oh my gosh a bear did cocaine let's go watch this nobody's gonna see it you see here like I want to go see it but also I could just submit the movie too I could be the bear just give me the cocaine yes well how are we gonna go about doing that well ladies and gentlemen welcome to our first segment how to get Gabe on cocaine well I think first off we need to pick a location yes preferably where there's a lot of people we can gather a crowd okay we'll probably make more money than like the second Ghostbusters movie because I don't think anybody watched that either I don't remember that one exactly apparently I had Chris Hemsworth in it but oh never mind I've seen that one I have not oh yeah I thought you're talking about Ghostbusters 2 instead of like the remake the all-female yeah the all-female remake okay I remember seeing that in theaters and that was a weird one oh yeah Chris Hemsworth was good-looking though he's always good-looking but continuing we need a location so a lot of people right so I'm thinking you know probably like middle of campus MTSU you like on a Tuesday a random Tuesday in like April do it on my birthday yes for some reason okay we have our location what is the event taking place in this location I'm just gonna I'm just gonna go down on a lot of cocaine and see what happens. Any objections? I think Cynthia has an objection I think the entire FBI has an objection I mean that's only if they find this that's true which they have oh I think they're actually having a watch party yeah next segment she's just staring at us no I seriously have not seen that movie yet and it's so funny because I talked so much about it there's a lot of movies I haven't seen that I've talked about I haven't seen the new Ant-Man I heard it was like awful I heard it was divisive I heard there's some people that have told me it's really good and there's no problem with it there are Marvel fanboys weren't they yeah but then again I'm kind of a Marvel fanboy but the same time I'm like I'm retracting a bit no so my understanding for the movie is it was like they had an idea of what they wanted to do yeah and they got to like post filming and they chopped it up so much to where there's like different stories going on at different times and weird gotcha so I don't know man so I've seen clips and snippets from the movie that basically tell me everything that's happened but I just can't get over this one little thing this isn't a spoiler cuz everybody like it's in the promotions like a MODOK he's in there but there's just a frame that people keep showing on the internet of just MODOK and his naked booty just hanging in the air and I was like yeah won't be going to see that one I don't know I'm a little more inclined to go see it now it's just Marvel's declined in their in their quality recently it's just they've come off of the penultimate that was well they went from like releasing like one maybe two movies a year releasing like 40 hours worth of content in the span of a whole year right and so I think once they get back to not releasing everything they have all at once it'll maybe be a little bit better everything I want once I have no I no clue they just do like the Oscars or whatever yeah I was like dude you just yeah you're welcome I did you see anything from the Oscars no I don't keep up do you know it was okay okay so I'm a movie buff yes right people in the audience may or may not know that probably not cuz I haven't said it on this podcast but I am a film major right and I have always kept up with the Oscars despite not being excited for them because I know that they're probably gonna be pretty rough right whenever yeah what was this I forgot the one that Ellen hosted with like Kevin Spacey was in the picture yeah I was like well it's gone downhill no it's the Oscars have just been really really bad and it's not it's not just the hosting and like all that goes on but sometimes the winners it's like why did they get that well you know I think you know in the the journalism class that I paid no attention to for a few seconds right somebody said it's like it's not like what people want it's like it's the Academy right and the Academy does not vibe it doesn't really give credit where credit should be due to something like what since like you're a film major like what's been like the biggest upset in film awarding ever oh man I'd have to pull it up probably I don't know a personal one of mine okay so I saw what was it I saw La La Land a while ago in that movie you're like oh it's musical it's got but it's not Miss Stone and Ryan Gosling so you're like okay I got Ryan Gosling you say yeah so I so I watched that and that was really really interesting and I liked it because it was just like something I haven't seen before on on film and like like being presented at that high of like recognition anyways it was there was oh I've got another one anyway well not an upset I've got a victory but anyways where were they Ron Gosling La La La La Land was nominated for Best Picture and there were some other films along there with it and there was this movie Moonlight that is actually pretty pretty good that was nominated up there with it and I believe it yeah I believe it was La La Land that was announced that they want so they walked out they said best picture goes to and the guy who opened the envelope looked at it and he just had like a like a moment of just he's up there in age but still he just had a moment of just lost lostness and he proceeded to he proceeded to say La La Land so everybody got up on the stage and they're like oh my gosh we won we won and then there's this guy on the team that gets up he says no no we didn't win just moonlight and he points the envelope to the camera and in moonlight won it they misread it yeah Joe Biden went up there but he opened envelope and went chocolate chocolate chip yeah but like recently it's been getting better so there was uh was it last year's or was it it was it was a very recent one where no other foreign film like a foreign film has never won Best Picture yeah and finally a foreign film won Best Picture it was easily the best movie out of all of them was called Parasite you might have heard of it no really really really cool good movie anyways but this year was actually like a step up really because okay so the whole discussion of this year was like besides Best Picture everybody's like all best actor best actress who's gonna get it and do you remember a fellow by the name of Brendan Fraser I love that guy he so so I believe he's just gone through a lot as if like you can just look at him and you know he's gone through a lot like he disappeared from you can say he's had a whale of a time he's had a whale of a time he like went into hiding like a mummy no but he was nominated for Best Actor alongside Austin Butler who portrayed Elvis and I went to go see the Elvis movie Elvis movie I liked it I heard that it's like nowhere near the true story but no yeah and I actually showed it to my mom because she loves Elvis and she was like yeah I don't like it like why well one it wasn't like his life really but also apparently there was another Elvis film made that like the actor well there's a ton of Elvis films right but there was there was one that she saw that she said the actor was pretty much just like Elvis yeah and she loved that movie instead and she's like yeah I don't like this guy now you know what the biggest upset for me is the Oscars was this year what I didn't get to see Will Smith black rock Oh GI Jane too yeah we'll get back to that in a second but anyways Brendan Fraser beat out Austin Butler for Best Actor and I wouldn't I wouldn't have been mad either way whoever it went to I thought both did good but Brendan Fraser deserved it he deserved it and then he's on the outskirts for a hot minute he's back it's nice that he's back Ki Hoi Kwan who okay okay do you remember the Goonies yeah remember is it Data I think that was on the Goonies I don't know the names I just know Sloth oh no Data he was the Asian Goonie okay and he also was in Indiana Jones yeah yeah okay yeah so he's been in Hollywood for a long time and he won Best Supporting Actor did he know that was really cool and then Brendan Fraser and him hugged he's really cute now is Brendan Fraser still like fat from the no but he's a big boy but he's a good-looking he's an older man now like he's got have you seen that young Brendan Fraser yeah that man's good-looking he's a good-looking dude anyways everywhere everything everywhere all at once won Best Picture that was that was really good that was a movie that made me cry really I bawled I I don't think I've ever really cried over a movie does that make me like heartless come on cocaine bear you cry over that you see I haven't seen it yet I know you cry over I'll cry over cocaine bear we'll cry together over cocaine bear that's that's deal what if we recorded our next episode at the screening of cocaine bear and we just stated our reaction yes we should that you know what that's a great idea it probably be like 30 instances of just oh my gosh guys the bear did cocaine guys the parents doing cocaine I've got a question who would win cocaine bear or Will Smith that he's coming to slap you I think Will Smith well let's see did the did the bear say anything about yes Will Smith's wife yes okay well then it's yeah I think Will Smith takes that one I don't know man you got to keep his wife's name out of your mouth well I can't GI Jane too I mean I can't help it if the bear says that that's well that also means that the bear could talk though oh is what is Winnie the Pooh the cocaine is that what I'm hearing no but there's a Winnie the Pooh horror movie out right now yes have you seen the like I haven't watched trailer trailers for it yeah it's rough man rough it's bad I think we should watch that too so they just they let I don't know why this is a thing but for some reason there's this thing called public domain where yeah like it's like 80 years you know yeah like an entity to be yours and then once that's run out it's like free to the public right so Winnie the Pooh's it ran out and they're like all right doesn't like Mickey Mouse don't run out really soon I think Mickey Mouse's runs out in like a year or two or something oh I don't even know how but it's very soon would they be able to like it's probably wrong or would they like they should or is it like this Disney is just out of luck and they gotta find a new mascot yeah but they have a new mascot coming in what and I got her I got no business name cuz it's this imagination dragon and he's like figment yes it's the imagination dragon if I'm right I gotta and I've never heard of that fella in my life I feel like I've seen him before hey I know Disney all right I don't I don't know who figment is I thought it would be um Oswald you know who Oswald is yeah yeah but he's older than Mickey oh it's true so he looks like he looks like Spyro if he met Cocaine Bear no do you remember there was like a kid's show dragon tail yeah dragon tail it looks like he's straight out of dragon tail it looks like if Spyro was dragon tail eyes or whatever the dragon tails characters no dragon tails was a good show they it's a literally a ripoff of Ford what is Ord that dude Oh from dragon tails dragon tails I was like I don't know the Ord show no no just no but I feel like they'd be able to get an extension on that mouse they should be able to I mean cuz like without Mickey Mouse what is Disney well still power hungry like the most powerful corporation in the world but we'll walk past that you know I mean they don't have Walt either but I feel like that's for the better yeah you know you know it in that cryolab would you would you be storing your cryolab it asked it's so it's like it's like the Captain America thing right no no it's literally just the head it's like oh my god that iCarly it's like Futurama style we're like you're Richard like the Richard Nixon head oh I remember that no I was thinking of that iCarly episode where they were like there's the head just frozen have you ever like so Ted Williams got cryogenically frozen did he the legendary box player yes have you seen where they apparently just mishandle his body yes all time yes like yeah oh like would you would you be cryogenically frozen it depends on what point of my in life I'd be asked to be cryogenically frozen like let's say you're like 70 years old okay okay what's the agent you cut off here would be my condition let's say I have like a very life-threatening disease that is eating away at me in my older days right and let's just say scientist walks up to me and he says sir we can we we are going to be able to in this in these next few years right give us a bit of time right hundred years or so we're gonna eat you ahead 100 years we're gonna be able to develop something that just turns you into prime 20 year old whatever you again right you just reverse your age but you got it you got to stay in this pod for a little bit I think so no they're just gonna take the AIDS off of you okay well I don't know if I'd have AIDS well in my 70s well I don't know either about just hypothetically I'm thankful you didn't like go lower like 60s 50 well I was hypothetically you never know yeah that's fair I mean that's what I'm aiming for but I mean the cryogenic the cryogenic the cryogenic pod obviously there you go I was aiming for the the the serum that oh yeah you know I think I don't think I do it I think I just go out like this is gonna sound weird but have you ever just like seen the list of things you can do with your body once you die what there's a list of things that you can do I think that I can do with my body when I'm gone yes yes yes yes one second let's just I don't think that's how that works what do you mean like I'm able to do something with my body whenever I'm dead yes oh you mean like okay go ahead like okay there's obviously like you can be cremated okay like I thought you were like oh you're dead but just wake up and like have fun yeah so like there's I think there's one thing that I read where you can get like put into a little box and shot off into space oh I get the low orbit I know some people that would do that okay now hear me out whatever you shot off into this little over box you're going but something hits you and you just come straight back down to the ground it's like the other side of you land in Ted Williams cry up on make sure that hasn't happened before Cynthia's on guard for 10 and for Ted Williams no I I just say I didn't get cremated I know you can have a Viking burial though those are those are like you great those are crazy yes but I didn't know what that's basically that's cool now this there's another one that's like you can get your body like made into shotgun shells yeah and like whatever you shoot the bit like plants plants so I just imagine like I feel like that's the main way to go in Alabama or like Wow deep south like yeah you made in shotgun shells I don't know anybody in my life who would go out like that well now I've met you well hey well I'm not from Alabama so that's not for me but we'll ask our boys we'll see we got we we've got some boys we got some boys no I guess imagine just old me moms in the shotgun good old me mom no I want the last shot we got a nice cedar tree going on there I assume so if that's how that works like what type of tree would you want to be oh no I think I'd be like a nice little willow tree no so hear me out like a imagine you're like a tree that bears fruits right oh no what your ashes are in the fruit I mean that's not where I was gonna go but yeah sure I was gonna say like every time somebody takes a bite out of like let's say an apple from your apple tree like they'll remember you and like depending on what type of memories they have you know to be bitter or sweet oh wow yeah that's some deep stuff it is it is I think we've scared our audience away yeah you're probably right thank you to the two people listening now scares so like March Madness started yesterday yeah okay so I have not made a bracket because I'm gonna say the most controversial thing ever I don't keep up with college basketball despite me loving basketball I don't keep up with it either but I watch March Madness like right so I love I love to watch the games but I have I have no idea of the fandom or like even half of the names of the teams competing well those are the fun ones but I saw the game I believe is what was it was it Furman is that what they're Furman and Virginia I saw the end to that and it was hilarious because with I forgot how many seconds left like Virginia player has the ball all he has to do is hold on to it and I don't know if they had a timeout or not I don't know I really do is hold on to it and he decided to just heave it into the air but ladies and gentlemen he didn't he just heave it into the air he heaved it right to a Furman player who happened to just pull up right to the three and just bang that thing I was watching it like they got the ball and I was like well I guess I guess this round for my brackets secure and the interception I was like well oh so you voted for Virginia to get it oh yeah yeah that's logical but that's what the biggest upset of the first day the first day there was a 15 seed playing second seed it was Princeton versus Arizona oh no it's so now there's like 0.002 percent of the brackets left or perfect Wow so I'm 20 million like what happens when you win the bracket is like a huge prize like money wise oh well a million or something I don't know because like I don't think anybody's ever had a perfect one oh wow and so it's a shame I didn't submit mine it's a shame because yours would have been perfect yeah that's true put that out there but yeah it's been a crazy first day or so but you know what I feel like we can I think we can that's fair I think the only team that I've followed I I believe no no I just met me and you me and you versus five D1 collegiate athletes that's that's fair I think I think the only college team I've followed has been I think it's Kansas I think they have Grady last name on there and he's pretty pretty cool okay okay you can't do you have one thing that you could do where you could be out of D1 athlete at um uh public anxiety public anxiety I you know my anxiety I feel like this is there's probably a D1 athlete out there that could keep you might be a whip your tail yeah well what about it what about you what do you think more about like specific talents if I could oh I got actually I don't know what what is it I was gonna say I could go d1 for like singing the 1975 songs because I mean I love that band well I mean I guess you have to you have to do it now yeah so that we can see it's true yeah yeah okay well that was actually one of their songs see I'm oh really no oh yeah you got it I got it you got it well I don't think that he's 75 songs oh yeah that's fair not many not many straight guys do sir is that you're coming out right there no no oh okay no I'm definitely not gay that was very confusing true bro thank you you're welcome what about you what's what's a talent that you possess that you could or get a trade a skill a trade or a skill that I possess that you could go do you want in huffing Febreze smelling gas yes yes yeah I don't know I don't know it was just just a thought you know because I mean those guys are like peak performance for like a human body pretty much basically at least as peak is ramen packets will allow you to go I agree dude ramen is actually I've had so many people that have told me instant ramen is trash it's really not I mean I don't eat a ramen all that much so I I had some over the weekend and it was really good I think it just depends on how you prepare it that's yeah cuz like there's some people that get really fancy with it yeah like eat the straight packet like not even the noodles just the packaging yeah and there's people that eat the crunchy noodles like what are you doing well right behind that savory rice crispy they should what would the flavors be beef jerky beef jerky flavored venison child there'd be a bacon one there's how there's so many bacon flavored things okay I saw online yesterday also Colgate like the toothpaste people oh they had like a bracket out and it was like eight different toothpaste flavors they're like all right which one do you guys like which one would you want the most it's I'm just gonna go grab it real quick no and I'm gonna read it off to you oh man here we go they've got this is a vote by the way so this is foul there's cotton candy oh that okay I get bacon oh teeny colada okay pepperoni pizza toothpaste no birthday cake toothpaste yeah pumpkin spice toothpaste I'm already white yeah green tea mint that could actually work chocolate oh okay I'd probably go cotton candy in the green tea mint I feel like the Italians are throffing at the mouth for pepperoni Nick Nick Henry Nick is currently crying while I'm perceiving to gaba goo I need a gaba goo flavored toothpaste now the stromboni flavor no have you ever like had had a bacon flavored thing in your possession I so for Christmas I got bacon mints I've had weird I think it's like bacon flavored popcorn I've had bacon I've had a bacon lollipop that was weird you were just like the people that make these things have never tasted bacon before no not at all like now candied bacon that's good that's good that's good that's good good I'm just thinking like the pepperoni pizza flavored toothpaste it's just marinara sauce oh it's just marinara I'd imagine the the bacon one is it's just normal Colgate but you know how they have those white strips that they put in there yes so instead the white strips yeah you have to like choose make it up and eat it yeah like how do you cut it out no it's like it's the white strips but instead of like the minty white yeah it's bacon flavored so you just got bacon bacon teeth yeah yeah okay like what do you think would be like the worst flavored toothpaste ever pull them up again I think it's it's probably pepperoni cuz I know bacon would not be as bad because it's always it always isn't like what the bacon should taste like it's just it's just there yeah they had cotton candy bacon that's good pina colada pepperoni yeah birthday cake pumpkin spice green tea mint chocolate okay chocolate would be bad but it would not be near as bad as pepperoni pizza I think I think the best would be cotton candy I feel like we could create a mint or maybe pina colada I feel like we could still make it worse like what if they made one that specifically tasted like you know whatever you like Dan O's yes specifically it's where it's just like the taste of like you just brushed your teeth and you've decided that you're gonna drink orange juice yeah that is a feral oh I've made that mistake and sometimes it's actually pretty enjoyable like there's just that feeling where it's like oh yeah there's like this feeling sucks but for some reason I like it no no minty orange juice mint orange sounds like a combination that should work I feel like that's what they do with cocktails a lot of the time okay that would explain it yeah but yeah I don't taste the mint or orange right alcohol oh I don't know I think I think that whole bracket is just it's disgusting yeah birth I know birthday cake would just be a party a chip flavored Oh paste oh man chips and salsa toothpaste Chewy's jalapeno sauce toothpaste I think it's what it's not in the toothpaste it's just the sauce I think I'd yeah I think I'd be enjoying that can you imagine like eating that stuff like doger I think I could pretty tasty got some kick to it I mean have you ever eaten I know I'm curious cuz I feel like that was something you've done before that was a very quick no but I could easily imagine I could imagine the side of it I don't know cuz like the toothpaste I use kind of has a little grit to it so I don't think I would like to imagine that mint go-gurts were a thing of the past for us no you ever wonder like speaking of go-gurt you remember Daniels yes whatever happened to the kids that the sweet steak the sweet steak so he's nobody wanted to a vacation with Zack and Cody yeah and yeah that I don't think that ever happened that ever happened no so my whole childhood is a lie basically and he wasted a lot of money on Daniels I actually wasn't Daniels kid I just remember always looking at it I was Daniels kid they were good I like I had the go-gurts but they were this the spongebob go-gurts those are good nostalgia man the tricks ones where it's got the little yes okay those those were easily the best those beat out animals and they beat out go-gurt they were so good because it's alcohol and it gives you a break like most viewers by now and just like that ladies and gentlemen we have reached a good stopping point we think we hope you may have stopped way earlier thank you but if you watch yes yes congratulations I hope you listen to many more in the and record this at a different location every time so if there is ever a moment where the audio is just terrible it's probably because one of our locations that week was terrible so we're gonna have just as much fun with it as you guys will hopefully so the entertainment will stay the same but everything else will be different spontaneous all righty I am once again Isaiah and I'm Gabe and this
