Two roommates, Liam and Jackson, have started a sports podcast. They discuss their favorite sports teams, including the Patriots, Bears, Raiders, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Bruins, and Celtics. They also talk about the upcoming Super Bowl between the 49ers and Chiefs, and the odds of each team winning. Jackson is a fan of Connor Redard in hockey and dislikes James Harden in basketball. They also mention their soft spot for the Raptors and Scotty Barnes. Hello and welcome to the first episode of the Hog Manor Sports Podcast. I'm Liam and I'm Jackson and we're both roommates at a college that will not be named at this current time and we have nothing better to do on a Sunday night than talk sports so we figured what better than to record it and this is kind of what the product is going to be. We're going to go over kind of what's going on in sports news right now, kind of some of our opinions, we'll talk about a little betting. One thing we will say is we're in New Hampshire so we can legally bet and we do bet and that will definitely be a big part of the show but just to kind of get us going we're going to go over our favorite sports teams so Jackson I'll let you start because you have a you have a couple of good ones in a couple different sports. I think we're both known for rooting for multiple teams in each sport. Yeah that would be correct so my name is Jackson. I've grown up in New England all my life and not gonna lie the teams have not attracted my attention as much. I've grown up in a time where I can be very thankful for my sports team success but I have had to root for other teams unfortunately for myself so I am a Patriots fan first because of course how would I not be but I also do enjoy myself the Chicago Bears and that was honestly one of the worst decisions of my life. They're an interesting team and we'll we'll talk about them quite a bit on this I'm sure. Oh definitely I have a lot to say about them. Absolutely on on my side for football I'm Patriots through and through. My first ever NFL jersey was a Tom Brady jersey back when he started first winning Super Bowls. That's pretty dope. And aside from that once I I kind of got more into football as I grew up I started playing a lot more Madden and with that I was very much into franchise and one of the worst teams and which is why I used to love them when I was a kid is the Raiders. The Raiders are my yep exactly so you got to rebuild them and they're my second team. And that sucks for you too. That's also a really poor choice of a secondary team. Other team I you know I've rooted for the Packers in the past which is quite interesting because we have a Lions fan in the house one of our roommates has family in Detroit. You're obviously Bears. So we have a little NFC North in our apartment. Exactly and obviously no one roots for the Vikings so we can rule them right out. On the baseball side I started my sports watching and sports interest as a kid watching the Red Sox. I always wanted to grow up and play for the Red Sox and fortunately my stature and skill in the sport of baseball don't really add up. No definitely not. I could throw the ball around for a good 15-20 minutes before the old shoulders start acting up again and I couldn't hit a ball to save my life but I love the Red Sox as a team not really loving them right now. No definitely not. You guys are in a weird spot. We are and we'll definitely get into that with John Henry making a deal with the PGA obviously as announced middle of last week. My team. Exactly we're gonna hop over the border and so my team is the Toronto Vlugis and you might ask why that is and we'll save that for another day but for all of my life I have been told that the Red Sox suck and I should never root for the Red Sox. So first I was a Yankees fan and then I went to the Blue Jays because at least you were saved in some regard. But I get to show my pride for my my boys across the border. The Blue Jays are a super interesting team right now. We're stuck a little bit. We're a wildcard team. Stuck's a good way to put it. Lack of signing stars I think a big issue. Yeah definitely but I still see a lot of hope in this team. I am huge on baseball. It's my favorite sport all my life. I've played it since day one. Yeah and I'm really looking forward to talking about MLB. Yes I think it's gonna be good because unfortunately the Sox lost me for a couple years so I took a step back from baseball but with with recent fantasy leagues that we've we've started I've gotten a little bit more back into it. I'll drag you guys back in and that's that's great. Yeah Next we're let's let's shoot over to the the game on skates and blades. Hockey. We're both Bruins fans. Yeah I think that's right. Yes I love the NHL in general. I root for a bunch of different teams depending on what the matchup is. I love the Dallas Stars. I love the Kings. Colorado is a fun team to go back and watch old highlights of when Ray Bork won the one cup with them. So I'm I'm almost more of a hockey fan in general but you know I bleed black and gold as do you. I definitely do. You do have a bit of a secondary team now following Chicago with the Blackhawks. Yep so Blackhawks are my secondary team and let me tell you watching Connor Redard play hockey is one of the most fun experiences I've had in my life. It's pretty fun. It's something to get excited about. It's really exciting to watch him play and if you haven't I really recommend it because he's fantastic on the ice. If you are not a hockey fan look up his highlights. Because he's fantastic. Yeah he's 21 about our age. Yeah I think he's even younger. Shoot I think he's like 18 right now. Boy no way he's 18. Yeah Connor Redard is 18 years old. Oh never mind. He was born in 2005 and we're sitting here talking about him and he's 18 years old getting paid a lot of money to do something he loves. Good for him. He's a little bit closer to my stature but I think the issue here is that he has skill in the sport and he's probably what separates me from him. And then we'll go to basketball. Exactly. So basketball we're both mostly Celtics fans. Yes. Personally we're not huge on basketball. It's definitely our weakest sport combined. Easily. I've stopped following actually the last couple of years. But we're gonna make a resurgence for this podcast and tell you guys what we see. Yeah. Hopefully bring some new people in. Hell yeah. Bring everyone in. We can talk about it. I've definitely gotten a little bit more interested recently with basketball just watching all the trades and all the systems go down. And the Celtics are obviously very good right now. So we have something to look forward to here in Boston. Exactly. Kind of a secondary team for me but I did like the Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan. Well of course. Lobstead Eason. You know. One of the best teams. That Clippers is awesome. Yeah. Jamal Crawford's most filthy handles. And I love Jamal Crawford just because he's dope. So I do root for the Clippers sometimes. I'm not a huge James Harden fan. No you hate James Harden. Yes. I have at least one almost one guy in every sport that I just don't like for some reason. And you'll catch on very quick to who they are in this. But I've also been rooting for the Raptors a couple years. I unfortunately I took a turn from the Celtics when they won their championship and I went to the Raptors. And then I quit being a Raptors fan as soon as Kauai was traded. Because my favorite player was Demar Rosen. Yes. I hated it. I hated the trade for them so much. And look at me now. I am no longer a Raptors fan. And they won a chip of Kauai. And so now I'm back to being a Celtics fan. But I also kind of have my soft spots for the Raptors and Scotty Barnes. Yes. Yes. Scotty Barnes. Bit of a snub. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe. We'll get into that later. First I think for our first conversation point of this podcast we have to look at the Super Bowl. We're gonna be sitting down a week this time watching kickoff. Yep. Getting ready to bet on this game. 49ers-Chiefs. It's a rematch of a couple years ago from right before COVID in 2020. Yep. That's weird for me. We're looking at the Super Bowl odds over time right now. And at the beginning of the year the the Niners barely had a shot it looks like is what they're telling me. And the Chiefs kind of had somewhat of a shot. It looks like the Niners were plus 1,000. Chiefs were plus 600 to start the year. Well that's what happens when you're the reigning Super Bowl champions. You kind of get a head start on that. Yes. But plus 600 for the Chiefs to start the year. I feel like it's right because who knows. But they're there now. Yep. If you hit them at the beginning of the year that's a really good payout at this point. Or a shot at a really good payout at this point. But we're looking right now. They did dip. They did have a dip. Quite a lot actually in the playoffs funny enough. Which kind of surprises me a little bit. Well I don't know if it surprises me. Remember they lived into those playoffs. They really did. Remember watching that Raiders game? That Raiders game was bad to watch man. It was. It was terrible. They looked completely out of shots. They didn't know what to do. Their offense was actually kind of bad for one. Exactly. And if you go to that first game against the Bills. Oh that was also. That was also a hard one to lose because it just didn't really set them up in a good position. They didn't have home field advantage. People were questioning whether or not Patrick Mahomes could play on the road in the playoffs. I was questioning. I said personally that I didn't think Patrick Mahomes was gonna get very far. I didn't have my doubts. He's a come on. He's gonna end up being one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Peyton Manning figured it out. Brady figured it out. Brees figured it out. All the big guys figured it out. Patrick Mahomes is one of them. He's figuring it out right now. I really. He's. It has in my opinion for him nothing to do with where he's playing. It's only how he's playing and he's always playing top level. So I'm not surprised the Chiefs are in this position. I wouldn't say I'm surprised surprised but I definitely picked other teams to get into this position. Yeah the way it looked I I really could have seen the Bills. I personally was rooting for the Ravens to get there. Yes I had them going. I thought it was gonna be a rematch of the hard boss Super Bowl but you know keep the lights on this time. Yep. Keeping the lights on. San Fran's been keeping the lights on all year. They have been go go go. They started really hot at what 4-0, 5-0 and then kind of dropped a couple. Yeah Brock Purdy had a slump of three games. Yep he had a little bit of a slump. And since then they have looked unbeatable. Insanely and the main knock on the 49ers going into the playoffs is that they couldn't play from behind and we've seen constantly this playoffs that they've been able to play from behind and still execute whenever they needed to do. Yes now a little bit of controversy in the the Dan Campbell coaching situation in that game that blew the Lions that lead. My question is that the 49ers will the win that got them back in that game which I think we saw or is it more on Dan Campbell and how he handled both of those fourth downs because if you go back and you look at it he gets the field goal both times there that's six points they win that game. Theoretically but you also have to acknowledge that the 49ers are a team that just keeps on rolling and a lot of teams when they get in those holes they shut down and that was a lot of criticism that Kyle Shanahan got beforehand is that once he gets in the lead like he did in Super Bowl or he gets behind he shuts down he starts getting conservative he doesn't know what to do. This was one of his first playoff comeback wins I forget the exact record of what he was behind by how many points I think it was somewhere around 17 points but finally gets that win kind of a breather. Yep definitely a breather for him and that coaching staff. Do you think that gives him a little bit more confidence going into this game going going into other playoff games I mean it kind of has to if you've lost all these games that you've been down in you know you've never been able to push to come back it's almost you know sealed by halftime most of the time you finally get that. Rock Purdy's been looking good. You know what I'm saying here I think the 49ers are gonna win this game. So let's get into predictions. What do you think? So I think right now is I always emphasize teams that don't falter I emphasize teams that don't make mistakes and I see I want to see a complete team it's why I picked the Ravens at the beginning of the year was that I saw a team that if they were healthy they were a team that could keep on rolling and a team that wouldn't get there in their own way which backfired on me heavily. It really did in that game against the Chiefs they shot themselves in the foot repeatedly in my opinion. Yep but I think the 49ers are in a better spot than they were they're gonna keep on rolling and the Chiefs are as good of a team as they are they are extremely inconsistent and messy they seem like they do things on the fly and Patrick Holmes has shown that he can do amazing things on the fly. He can bail them out. He's the reason he's the best quarterback in the league is that he's able to do that but in the Super Bowl and big games is what I look for a complete and whole team that's able to keep on rolling and the 49ers for me is definitely the team that I see that can make that all happen. They have the pieces they have the players. Everyone's gonna be healthy it seems like. They're better all around besides the secondary in my opinion but and quarterback of course yeah but I think obviously the receiving core of the Niners and you know Christian McCaffrey is better than anything that they have on offense the Chiefs do. I think the offensive line is really solid they've given Brock Purdy enough time to get the ball 15-20 yards downfield on some of these longer plays. Yep, Trent Williams is one of the best in the league. I think he is one of the best. He is the best in the league. I don't think there's many other tackles if any that I would take over him. I don't think so. But I agree with you I think the 49ers are a better team overall. I think they have a better shot at this game. I think they're gonna take this one. I really do. I really love the way Brock Purdy's been playing. I know a lot of people give him a lot of crap but all I have seen is someone who's accurate, smart with the football, knows how to get to the guys who are open. Yes, of course his stats are gonna look a lot better with you know guys like Deebo Samuel, guys like Brandon Aiyuk, guys like CMC. Exactly, Kittle. You put all these guys on any other with another quarterback and all their stats are gonna be inflated. You know, I think Brady would have thrown 5,000 yards with this team. Oh easily. You know, obviously it's gonna look a lot better but I think the fundamentals and the little things that you look for throughout the game like accuracy, smart decisions, knowing when to throw the ball out of bounds, knowing when to get down, he's shown that he can be a little bit mobile too. So he knows when to straddle out of the pocket. If you watch that Lions game. Make a move. You can see him run the football. He got multiple first downs running the ball. The Lions were not prepared for that at all. No they weren't. I wasn't prepared for it. I didn't ever see that coming. Playing a little devil's advocate here. This game, if it gets messy, I really think the Chiefs can win this game because Patrick Holmes has the uncanny ability to will his team to victory. And it's frustrating. It's so frustrating as a Patriots fan. Time and time again he bails them out. He's the best. This game's gonna be close. I really think this game is gonna be close. Right now most sports books have a minus two or minus two and a half. Minus two and a half on FanDuel. Minus two on DraftKings. So you're looking at a really close game here. MGM has them at a one and a half spread. But it really looks like the Niners are favored in all besides MGM. Other than that I mean it's a pretty even game and you're gonna see that in the Super Bowl obviously. It's the two best teams in the world. I don't know if I'm taking the spread here. If I am, I'm definitely leaning towards the 49ers. I definitely want to say when it's gonna be by a large margin. At least a touchdown. I don't think this is gonna be something where it's a three-point game. I think it's gonna be a seven to ten point game and in the Super Bowl that's kind of close in my opinion because it's the Super Bowl. Anything can happen. It's kind of weird seeing Super Bowl 58. I've been watching football so long I remember when we were in the 40s. But Super Bowl 58 we both sit in here. We both have the Niners. It's definitely gonna be a fun game to watch. Hopefully it's as close as the books have it. Now something else we wanted to talk about kind of shifting gears here. We're gonna go over to the NBA and we're gonna look at All-Stars. We're gonna look at the Eastern Western Conference. We're gonna look at Starters Reserves. We're also gonna go over some of the biggest snubs. This thanks to CBS. That's the website we're using right now to look at this and gain our stats. So thank you to them. No obviously sponsorship but just setting out a little off to where we're getting our stats from. Getting early going. So we're gonna look at the Eastern Conference here. Starters we have Tyrese Halliburton, Damian Lillard, Jason Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Joel Embiid who's obviously gonna be replaced by someone else. Yeah he I would be surprised if I see him playing that game. I think a lot of this lineup makes sense. I maybe would have liked to see Jalen Brown or Jalen Brunson up there but I mean Halliburton's been balling. He's been playing really well. He should be up there. I haven't followed personally to too much but I know he's been playing really well as of late. Tyrese Halliburton's been one of the most fun and and watchable guards in this league for like a past couple years but this year he's really really turned it on and I'm so happy to watch him play. Yep. Jason Tatum, Giannis, Joel all are in their spots. They're amazing players in their own right. They're all top five in the league in my opinion. I don't know about that. We can talk about that. Again I'm not the biggest you know NBA follower or nothing like that but I mean they're at least really big names. They deserve to be starting right now. Yeah. We look at the reserves here we have Bam Adebayo, Paolo Banchero, excuse me if I butchered his name I definitely did. Bankero. Bankero. I knew I would. Jalen Brown, Jalen Brunson, Donovan Mitchell, Tyrese Maxey and Julius Randle. I think a lot of these make sense. They really do. In my opinion I think it sounds weird saying but Jalen Brunson's had a great year. He has. I personally have liked him a little bit more than Dame. I think that Jalen Brunson could have a very arguable spot for starting but I don't really hate a whole lot of these reserves either. No. Bam's been playing out of his mind. Paolo's been fantastic. Yeah. He's carrying that team. He seems to be. Maxey's been playing really well for the six years. Oh my god he's the breakout player of the year right now. Yes. He looks really good. He's not taking one. He's taking two to three steps up from where he was a couple years ago. Exactly. I think Jalen Brunson was a great pickup by the next two years ago. I really wish that the Mavs tried to keep him. No you're, well now you have Kyrie so it's kind of interesting now but. But I mean they've gotten lucky that Kyrie stayed as long as he has in my opinion but he's such a question mark all the time and Jalen Brunson's so consistent. What would him and Luka have looked like? You know? I mean we did see him and they looked pretty good in the playoffs. They just needed, they would have had, they'll have would have had him, excuse me, a lot longer than they will have Kyrie. So it'll be kind of interesting. It'll be interesting to see if the Knicks make any moves to kind of improve around Jalen Brunson. It'll be interesting to see what the Mavs do going forward. They have Luka. They need to start winning. They need to start winning because Luka is already kind of inching his foot towards that door. It seems like he's getting a little bit more frustrated. But speaking of Luka, we'll move on to the Western Conference here. Starters we're looking at Mr. Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgis-Alexander, excuse me, I really need to be watching the NBA a lot more and get these pronunciations down. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Nikola Jokic. No question marks there for me. I think that's a very easy... None. I think Shai still has some of the, I think the most 40-point games this year. Shai's been dominant this year. I really think that if you don't have him at least in top three for MVP voting, you're insane. This guy's been torching the entire league. He's the focal point of the offense. He's making that offense run. He's scoring a whole lot. All those assists and rebounds he gets, he gets triple doubles. And the second best team in the West, how can you not make him, at least think about him as an MVP candidate. They're finally breaking through. I love seeing the Thunder winning again. We're gonna move on to the reserves here. Obviously the starters are... I think this year the NBA really did get it right with starters. But looking at reserves, Devin Booker, Steph Curry, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Carl Anthony Towns. I think a lot of these make sense too. Paul George maybe is a little bit of a question mark. Maybe Anthony Edwards depending on who you talk to. No, definitely not Anthony. But... Ant's been, has taken that step up with Tyrese Maxey this year. He's been going off. I'm a huge Anthony Edwards fan. I love him. He's shown a lot of talent. He can fly through the air. Funny enough, you say you're a fan, I'm a doubter. Especially the past couple years, I was not the hugest Anthony Edwards fan. I saw him and everyone said, wow, look at this 18 year old kid who's about to break out in the league. And I saw a guy that had a lot of things missing from his game. He didn't seem like he was very poised and ready. And obviously his age, he seems to have gotten that a little bit more. And now he's a real star in this league. He deserves the second MVP vote. Not MVP, the second all-star game that he's gotten here. I'm very, very happy to see him succeeding. I think it's great for the Timberwolves. I think it's great for him. It's great for everyone. I love Anthony Edwards. I think he's a great kid. I think he's going to be really good. Paul George, I think, is the one person that... That's a big question mark, in my opinion. Katz deserved it. I mean, you gotta add another person from the number one team. They're the best team, for a reason. He's been insane this year. That 60-point game, I think he had? Yeah, it was somewhere around there. It was like 62, I believe. And it was... Come on. It was only overshadowed because Joe Allenby had 72 that time, or 70. So he's been playing out of his mind. Maybe would have liked to see him as a starter. I'd like to see what LeBron's stats this year are. LeBron's still carrying that legacy. LeBron's LeBron. Yeah, you're not gonna put him as a reserve. You can't. So, kind of a shoe-in. I have a question for you, real fast. Okay. So, the NBA this year has enacted a rule where I think it's 65 games that you have to be to get your All-NBA and your MVP votes. And obviously, guys like Tyrese Halliburton and Joe Allenby are really looking to try to get those games to get to that 65, or that 55, whatever number that is. And they're not looking good for it right now. There's a chance that we see an All-NBA team or an MVP that isn't Joe Allenby-ed and doesn't include Tyrese Halliburton in it. And I want to hear what you think about that, because it's a really interesting conversation to have in the league right now. A lot of people are talking about it, and a lot of people have different opinions, and I want to hear what you think about it. I think the reason they put it in is good. I don't like rest days. No other sport does this, where you just rest guys besides baseball, and they have 162 games. It's weird, because injuries like Joel's come up, where he's gonna miss some time with a torn meniscus. Joel Allenby is always injured, though. And Tyrese Halliburton has also been chronically injured in their careers, both. So now the question is, well, if they were gonna be injured anyway, did their stats really match up against a bunch of guys who play, you know, 70 to 80 games a year? And the answer to that is absolutely yes, I think. I don't think so. Really? I think it's a sample size, but who really knows what they would have done in that game. Guys go into slumps. Guys don't play as well for a little while. Averages drop. Stats get lowered. Stats also go up. So maybe they would have proved to be even more wrong. But I think 65 games is pretty fair. You know, that gives you a solid, what, 17, I believe, 17-ish games that you can miss. That's more than enough time. I think if an injury comes up that you miss more time than that, it's just kind of life. That's kind of sports. That's kind of what happens, right? The guy who plays 82 games a year and has the MVP stats should get it over the guy who plays 50 games a year and has MVP stats, because there's just not a big enough sample size to go off of. I disagree with that take. I think that personally, watching Joel Embiid play and watching Tyrese play, that these guys are clearly the top of the NBA. They deserve, they're all NBAs, they're all star starters. Like, these are the top of the league. And specifically the other night, we watched Joel Embiid go out and play against the Warriors, and he was clearly injured. He was playing through an injury because he won the MVP vote. And you want to know what happened during that game? He got hurt again. He was playing on an injury because the NBA was forcing them out there. Now, is that smart for the NBA or their brand, or even for the players themselves to go and force themselves out there just for an award? Do they need those awards? I think it's on the individual, in my opinion. You know, it's the NBA is not forcing him to get out there. At some point, you have to weigh an MVP versus, you know, your knee. You know, and if he sat out that game, what if he ends up missing less time? It's... I don't know. I like the 65 game policy. I think it's really good. I think the NBA absolutely needs to keep it. It's... in my opinion, it's really a no-brainer. Too many guys miss too many games and expect to be called the best in the league. The best in the league plays some of the most, whether it's injury, rest days, whatnot. You got 17 games that you can miss before you're not eligible. It's more than enough. I disagree. I think maybe even lowering it a couple games so you could have... I mean, even if you lower it five and you give them... I know. That's what I think. I think personally that 60 games will be fine, especially because we've seen, like, we've already seen the ramifications of it happen. We see guys like Tyrese and Joel going out there while they're injured just to get those awards and get those, like, that whole lot of money. Like, you realize that, like, Supermax deals and, like, the Ultramax and whatever is going on there, they require those awards, those All-Stars, those All-NBAs, those, like, all defensive players. They need those awards to get the money. So what's the difference between, like, missing a game or two or a hundred million dollars extra? Exactly. So it's... I mean, look, there's arguments on both sides, but I really think the policy is just fine. I don't see a reason why we should baby them more than we do with just the rest days. The rest days, in my opinion, are stupid. They're really dumb. I hate it. I hate it. You want to give one here and there. Guys, the fact that there's a 65-game policy and that they give you those 17 games that you have to miss primarily because a lot of people are taking rest days just shows... just, again, just go play. Go play the game that you're getting paid to play. But fans pay money to watch you play and you're just gonna take a rest day. I don't like it. Again, baseball, a little bit of a different story. You're playing 162 games. In the NBA, you're playing 80 games over how many months? Ah, that's a great question. I think it's about five months, six months. I think you're fine. I think you're good, you know. I'm also an NHL fan over a lot of other sports. The NBA is a very, like, it's a very hard game to play. You've played basketball before. It's strenuous, and especially if you're running up and down the court for 60 minutes, well, not 60, but like 30, 40 minutes a game because you're the best player in the league and your team needs you. That's a lot on your body, especially if you don't get those rest days. I think hockey is very obviously more. The hitting, shots to your body, skating. Skating is just as hard as running. Takes a lot off your lungs. You're going a lot faster, you know. It's it's much more brutal game and guys play more games than, you know, those guys in the NBA. And I think the game's soft now. Anything's foul, you know, compared to hockey, you know, you get a two-minute penalty for, you know, hitting a guy in the face with your stick four minutes if the guy's bleeding, and then you're good. I wouldn't even call it, well, they're at least doing things to prevent the game from going soft. I do enjoy the the flopping penalties nowadays. Yes. Or the fouls, where you actually penalize the guys who are flopping and not getting touched, and I really enjoy that. It stops the whole James Harden running into someone and getting a penalty and shooting 23 footers a game, and the guy is like running into you while you're trying to block a shot. Like, I didn't think that was a good thing in the league. I don't think it helped it at all. No. But I do want to say that I think these rest days and the fact that you're taking away their awards if they're not playing, it's it's a little harsh. I think the rule's a little harsh right now. I think you can definitely lower it and you can still see the same effects. When you see those less rest days, you're not screwing over the fans as much, who are buying the tickets to go to the games. But you still want these guys to be healthy and actually be able to play basketball at their highest level, especially in the playoffs. Yep. But it it looks like it's probably gonna remain a rule. I think it's gonna continue going forward, and I like it. You think so? A lot of people are very mad about this rule right now. All your talking heads on ESPN are very interested about it. Well, you know how I feel about ESPN. I don't necessarily know if the professionals is what I would call them. So let's take a look at a couple snubs, though. Let's look at Fox. You want to talk about Fox? I loved Aaron Fox. What happened here? 27 points a game, four rebounds, five assists. About one and a half steals, 1.6. 38% from three at high volume. I mean, come on. That's... I mean, compared to Paul George. Let's look at some Paul George stats right now. What's Paul George hitting right now? Not that. Regular season, he's 22... 23 points, basically. 41% from three, and he's got five boards, three assists, and a steal and a half a game. And a half a block. Yeah, I think Aaron Fox is blatantly better. Five more points a game on, what, one less... one less rebound, and I think two more assists. Yeah, one less rebound, two more assists. And five more points per game. Only 3% less from three. I don't think that's that big of a deal. I think that's probably, like, a couple shots at this point. And the reason I agree with you, I think, a little bit is that I always prioritize that he is the head of their team. Aaron Fox, he runs the Kings. I feel like the Kings, as good as a team, they are the 5C, I think, right now. That they should have an all-star. Yes. And because Sabonis was also not included in this list for all-stars, that the Kings have none. And they're the fifth best team in the list. And I think that's a little crazy, that you don't have either Fox or Sabonis. I... I really do. I... maybe him over Cat is what I'm seeing here. I think that he should have been in over George, in my opinion. I think Paul George is kind of the guy we're gonna be tossing around here that should have been kicked out. Yes. I mean, you already have Kawhi on the list. Kawhi was always good this year. Yes. And he's been great. Yeah. Let's look at one of his teammates, Sabonis. Sabonis is also really cool. Yeah. He averages nearly a triple-double, which, even though his, you know, points per game is sitting just under 20 at 19.9. Thirteen boards, eight assists, and he shoots 62 from the field. Like, I don't know Cat stats. I can look up some Cat stats right now, but those are some insane stats to not let enter the... Really good. Regardless of what his scoring volume is, he makes up for it elsewhere. I mean, Towns, what, 20? Yeah. 22 game, 43 from three. That's really good. Eight rebounds, three assists. The assists is bad, and the steals don't look that great. Well, he's never really been a passing guy, or even a defensive guy at all. He doesn't get a whole lot of defensive stats. Mm-hmm. But, honestly, I think you could have put Sabonis, but also... I think you could have. But the Timberwolves being the best team in the league, I think that's a little bit tough. Yep. Now, let's talk about maybe why they wouldn't have picked Rudy Gobert. But... Another guy. I mean, Rudy, like, I think if you gotta take any Timberwolf, you're gonna take Cat, just in the sec, the scoring is just so great. He's clearly the second male on that team. It's... Rudy's a great defender, don't get me wrong, but I feel like... I think it's the reason why they're winning most of these games. I mean, of course having Rudy helps, that defensive juggernaut that he is. He's a good defender, yeah. So... Can we recognize defense a little bit? Maybe, but, like, I still think you gotta take Cat over Rudy Gobert for this one. I think the name, the name of Cat helps. I think who he is definitely helps him over Rudy Gobert, there. But... Alright, I wanna talk about this one. This one's gonna be real fun for you, because I was telling you about the NBA and trying to reintroduce you to this, and you were shocked when I told you, to your face, that James Harden was having a great year this year. Yes. Three point, he looks great. Yeah, 41% from... Yeah, career high, 41%. He's thinking about six a game. He's the third option in that Clippers offense, and I was one of the primary people, I thought, where I was telling you guys that this James Harden trade to the Clippers would not work, because he and Russ need the ball too much, and you also have Kawhi and PG, and you have so many moving pieces in the Clippers that I didn't think it would work. Yeah. And I am, once again, eating my words, because the Clippers are one of the better teams in the league this year, and James Harden has looked outstanding. Okay, he's averaging six fewer points than Paul George. Oh, that is true. I think right there, that kind of solidifies, I think Paul George deserves to be in over him, but I think there's other guys who deserve to be in over Paul George. I agree, but James Harden, I don't think that, even though, you shouldn't let your hate cloud you on this one, that James Harden is... I think he's been playing a lot more efficient this year, but I don't think he's an all-star this year. I think he's kind of getting to that point where he's a really good player on a really good team, but he's not an all-star level right now. One guy on this list, just by name, that is kind of making me question, I want to look at his stats, Jamal Murray, 21 points a game, six assists. 41 from three. 41, that's really good. It's good, but it's close to Paul George. Close to Paul George, you got Jokic on the list already, I think I would still take Paul George over him. I love Larry Markkinen, but Larry Markkinen, on the Utah Jazz, let's be honest, it's not exactly a great place to... No, but I mean, he is averaging over 23, eight a game, eight rebounds. 40% from three, it's nice. I love Larry Markkinen. Larry Markkinen's one of my favorite pieces. I wish the boss himself could somehow get him in the building, because he's fantastic. I love watching him play. Yeah, he's, I mean, he's playing really well, playing really well, but the team isn't playing that well, so someone's got to play well, and I think that's what their thought process was. And then, we can talk about our guy, we can talk about Derek White, and we can talk about Przegisil Fast. Yeah, we could talk about White. I don't really think that he's necessarily an all-star. I think he's very good, and he fits his role on the Celtics, but I just, I don't think he's above any of the other guys that we named. No, I really don't think so, and I think Porzingis has been great, but again, I think the other guys are just a little bit better. They're averaging a couple more points a game. 36% from three isn't bad, but let me tell you, like, these guys are crucial to the Celtics. 19 points a game, most of these guys are averaging like three to four more. Seven rebounds isn't bad, but the 36% is what's, I think, really killing them the most, because a lot of these other guys. And the game play, he's been injured this year as well. Exactly. I want to go over one more, two more people with you. I'll take a little piece here about Scottie Barnes, my Toronto Raptor. 20 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists. He has an argument. He has an argument, but I'll wait for next year, and we'll see how that goes, because Scottie Barnes is an upcoming guy. If he does it again next year, I think he's an all-star. Absolutely. I mean, I can see a Tyrese Maxey, Anthony Edwards type of jump, where he'll make that 23 points, and he'll up those assists, and he'll get up to two blocks. Like, he could be a premier star in this league, and I can't wait to see what he does. Yeah. And see what he has to do. And finally, maybe the person that a lot of people were talking about as a huge stub was Trey Young. 27 points a game and 11 assists, I think right there, he just should have been in. That's a huge total. That's much better than Paul George. Well, that's a Western guy. Excuse me, correct. You would be taking out a guy like Julius Randle or Tyrese Maxey. Yes. Or maybe even like Paolo. Yes. 27 points a game on 11 rebounds is very good. 37% from three is also good. I think it's three to four percent lower than what you maybe want to see. Not exactly that efficient, but Trey Young gets it done for that Hawks team. Yes. I personally have never been a huge fan of Trey Young. He's just not a guy that I look to. No, he's never been one of my favorites, but... The numbers don't lie, at least for the fact that... He's deserving of an all-star. He could be deserving of an all-star. I think I do like Julius Randle just a little bit better, but I do agree with some people that I could definitely see Trey Young being that other all-star. Yes, I definitely can. So I think we can move on here. We just had the NHL all-star game. It's weird because all-star games nowadays, they're just not as fun as what they used to be, right? It feels like when we were kids, it felt like a huge deal, and now it's a little bit different. All of our Pro Bowls and our... It's different. It's all different. But we did have Team Matthews over Team McDavid 7-4. Justin Bieber, very happy about that one. Also, Pasta, very happy about that one. He had a goal against Wayman. Oh, that's a really cool one. He was playing for Mr. McDavid. It looked like a lot of fun. One guy I kind of want to talk about is Nikita Kucherov. Ah, Nikita. Mr. Kucherov, as many of you hockey fans have probably seen, and if you haven't by now, he really necessarily, or didn't necessarily try too hard during the passing event, if he even tried at all, and it kind of raised that question, does it really matter, the all-star game anymore? Does the all-star game matter? I love the skills competitions. I love the slap shots, but the passing one is something that he didn't really want to try on. It's interesting because it kind of stirs that debate even more, and I think it's time where he's more interested in the game, but I also think that you're a high-paid athlete. People are paying to watch this. People are paying to have this on TV. The NHL is paying people to be here. People are in the stands. There's people involved here. I think you should at least show some effort. I don't know if he was hungover from partying the night before, you know, out there before, you know, the all-star game and everything, or what he's doing, but it's just kind of a little bit disgraceful, and you know, I'll preface, I'm not necessarily a Lightning fan, I'm a Bruin fan, but I just, I don't really get it. I don't really get it. I don't think it was necessary. I think you shouldn't just put your effort in, but maybe that's just who I am. I don't like... I mean, if you're chosen for the events, I feel like even if you're an NFL veteran like you are with Nikita Khrushchev, you should at least do it for the fans, do it for the people who came and watched and voted for you to be in the all-star game. Exactly. If you didn't want to be in the event, back out. I'm pretty sure you can back out of those. Back out. You can definitely find a way to back out of that. Rather than just showing no effort, just back out. It's a lot easier, it's better, less people are upset, you don't stir up a controversy. Not gonna lie, I didn't watch... It just makes more sense. I didn't watch the event, but... I didn't either. The way you're describing it, it sounds like you just didn't really... No, he... Do anything or try. He didn't. You can have fun at the event. Having fun at a controversy event is not what we're... Exactly. Guys have shown to do it in the past. I think that they... It makes it better when they're having fun with it. When they're not taking it too seriously. But if you're just not taking it seriously and not having fun with it, it's just... It's screw, you know? Sticking to the NHL, a trade that I really like that a lot of people are talking about, Monaghan getting sent from Montreal over the Winnipeg Jets. Montreal gets a first and another conditional pick, I believe it was a fourth. I think I had it as a seventh initially, and I was very much wrong about that. I think they... It was two picks. So it was your first round pick and a conditional third round. It was 20-27. Yes. That's a steal for Montreal. I mean, Montreal brought him in and Sean Monaghan was kind of a fourth line guy. He had been injured for a couple years with the flames. I mean, 13 goals, 22 assists, you got 34 points. 30 minus 10, though. The minus 10 doesn't look great. But the fact that they were able to get a first and maybe a third two, Montreal already took on a first with Monaghan when they traded for him. So they get two firsts out of this guy who's scoring 35 points in 49 games with 13 goals, 22 assists, and again, a minus 10. I bet it could be worse. That's a pretty good one. That's a pretty good trade, in my opinion, for a guy who's 29 and hasn't really played up to that level in a long time. Again, it's his hips. They've kind of shot out on him. I think that's a great trade for Montreal. I still think Montreal is a little bit of a ways from contending. I think the fact that they got to the Cup a couple years ago was... That was wild. It shouldn't happen. No one saw it coming. But that's what happens during a pandemic year. I don't know. It's a really good move for them going forward. I'll ask you about this real fast. So the Canucks, I saw, were one of the higher teams in standings this year. What do you think about that? They have made a lot of good moves, and they just traded for Elias Lindholm. Oh, that's a really good pickup for them. Lindholm's been nice. They gave up a young star, but they got a really good guy in Lindholm, and I think him with Patterson, Hughes, Fowler, J.T. Miller. Is this a product of the radar against the year? They finally put it together. In their last 10, they're 8-0 and 2. That's really good. So they've gotten a point in all their last 10 games. They're in first by a lot, by 7 right now. They have 71 points in 49 games. It looks great. Their teamwork looks amazing, and that's so surprising to me, because I really didn't have them doing anything. I don't think they're going to splutter out and fail a little bit here. I didn't expect much from them, to be very honest with you. I want to talk about the Eastern Conference, because a lot of people had the Bruins falling off, and we're Bruins fans. They're 7-1 and 2 in their last 10 games, so they scored a point in all but one. They're on a two-game win streak. They look great. They do look really good, and they're on the top of the Atlantic, and that's where we want to see them. They're five points ahead of the Panthers right now, who are in second. They're well ahead of the Maple Leafs. They're well ahead of the Lightning. The Wings, who I don't think have been playing necessarily bad, they're way ahead of. The Rangers, in the Metropolitan, are leading right now. They have only 63, so we're still eight points ahead of them. The Hurricanes, again, we're 10 points ahead of them. We look really solid, and I thought with our losses this year that we weren't going to. I didn't like letting Bertuzzi walk. We were doomed this early, this free agency, this free agency period. We could not stop talking about how it would be a wild card to you. We had a wild card to you with that. I thought our window was completely closed. I thought it was over and done with. Bergeron retires. Obviously, Bertuzzi goes to Toronto. Garnett Hathaway goes to Philly, who I really liked. Orlov's gone. He's with the Canes now. I had a guy go to Chicago. What's his name? Nick Foligno. We traded Nick Foligno, who was a great locker room piece, and who we were thinking about bringing back before Chicago re-signed him. You lost a lot of pieces this year. A lot of pieces. Jim Montgomery was a question mark when he took the job last year after Bruce Cassidy, who ends up winning the Stanley Cup the year after you let him go. Not necessarily a great look, but I think Jim Montgomery has played fine. I think he's a better fit for this team than Bruce Cassidy ever was. They've looked great. They look really solid. I'm very impressed with the Bruce. A lot of their younger pieces are really coming off. Poitras looked awesome. Poitras looked amazing this year. He looked really good. I like what I'm seeing out of him. We needed a center to step up. The fact that it's him is incredible. Who would have thought? Never heard his name before. I think we have a good shot this year. I really hope that we can celebrate at one championship in college. Since we got to college, Brady has left. The Celtics can't put it together. The Bruins obviously fumbled a 3-1 lead against the Panthers. That really hurt as well. Let's not talk about either of our baseball teams. Our baseball teams don't. Neither of them have won a playoff game since we've gotten to college. Nope, you are correct. The Blue Jays haven't either. No, though they have made it. We've made it a couple of times. Oh, no, excuse me. No, we won a game. The Red Sox were also winning. Actually, we won a series against the Yankees. Oh, you did? We did. It feels like forever ago. It was only two years ago. God forbid the Red Sox play well. The Bruins are giving us one of the best shots and so are the Celtics. Maybe we can go to a double parade. Maybe this is the year that we have it. Who knows? Last year was an even better chance. We had the best team in NHL history, debatably. We did. I think we did. Maybe more record-based in terms of wins and losses. Now we're sticking like the Golden State Warriors over here where we have the best record in the league and we can't put it together to win a championship. Exactly. At least they made it. At least they even made it. We kind of had to get off the ground, it felt like. But it's going to be interesting. I think there's a lot of good teams in the NHL and it's always going to be fun to watch. The playoffs are always fun. Stanley Cup playoffs are the best set of playoffs. We have a very fun playoff to watch, I will say. Exactly. To wrap things up here, we'll keep it a little bit shorter tonight. I'm sure you have more homework to do. I have more homework to do. Definitely. I want to touch on a little bit of baseball talk. Let's do a little bit. John Henry, owner of the Red Sox, invests $3 billion into the PGA Tour. With his group from the PGA Tour. That's a lot of money. Do you have any idea how infuriating it is to be a Red Sox fan? What happened to being one of the top payrolls? We're sitting in the middle of the league. In those payrolls. In payrolls. John Henry's pissing money everywhere else. We can't get a guy better than Giolito when Snell and Montgomery are still on the market. What do you mean? You've got Tyler O'Neal. He's definitely the piece that's going to move you guys. Oh yeah, he definitely is. But sitting 10th in payroll right now, that is terrible. It's barely above league average. I mean, look at some of the other teams here. The Rangers have a higher payroll than us right now. The Blue Jays have a higher payroll. We do. The Cubs have a higher payroll. Philly, they're up there, but they've been able to come up with it. We should be above all those teams. The St. Louis Cardinals have a more active payroll, but you're stuck paying Pevelos, Amdval, or whoever the hell you're paying. We're probably paying a couple people. Gloober maybe, I don't know. But you've got a lot of retained salary. Yeah, we do. I don't get it. I don't get it. I don't understand the moves that were made. I don't, looking back on that move to the Mets trade, understand it. From what it looks like, you guys are just cutting costs. I see why. I don't! Championships bring money! You think that, but also in a league where you have so much money to be played, how much does it really win you? I think it wins you a lot in Boston. These teams like the Rockies and the teams like the Rays and the Pirates, they're all just sitting there with the huge amounts of money they get from other things, and they don't pay their players. And that somehow financially works for them. And a lot of the owners are looking to do it. They don't win, but why would an owner care? And that's what we're worried about. That's what we're worried about for John Henry. We need to get owners out of the game that are looking to sit in the middle and make good on winning at a 500 rate and making profit. The whole point of being in this league is to win championships. And if you're not going for championships, you shouldn't be involved in the league. You shouldn't be involved in sports. That's the whole point of these major sports, is obviously one to make money, but two to win championships. You're there to help the fans. You're here to give them something to watch that will actually be fun. But you also want to give them a chance to win. It's not fun to watch! They're not fun. The Sox are one of the least fun teams. They're frustrating. They'll go on a 10-game win streak, and then they'll blow 15. Like, it just happens. And it's like, why? Why can't we just go after some of these guys? Why can't we get a Shohei Ohtani? Why can't we get a Juan Soto? Why can't we just sign Bellinger, Blake Snell? Just give me a big name. I don't even care who it is at this point. I just want to be satisfied with who the hell we're putting on the field. I don't want to see Pablo Reyes and Rob Refsnyder out on the field. Who are they? I never heard those names. Christian Arroyo? He's not of the least decence. Tristan Cassis? Power hitter. He's a prospect. He should be all right for the game. Terrible defender. Oh, terrible defender. Trevor Story. Product, of course. That was one of your weaker free agent signings of the last couple of years. That did not go down well for you. Chris Dale couldn't stay healthy to save his life. Very true. And Ryan Beto's only just putting it together in the last year, maybe? But also, your pitching staff is not going to run just on Corey Kluber and the dead ball. Corey Kluber's gone now, thank God. My bad, I meant Baio and the bones of Giolito. And nobody else. Because I don't know any of the pitches of his staff. We couldn't even keep Paxton. Why can't we re-sign James Paxton? He was all right for you guys in stretches. I wouldn't have hated it. He was a 3-5 guy. He'll be fine. Better than whoever the heck else we have. I just, I don't understand the direction of the Red Sox. It's really frustrating. We're not going to see any difference from watching you guys. Something that's a little interesting is Theo Epstein coming back. I think as an advisor who's allegedly going to have a lot of say in personnel. Maybe that changes the game. Maybe he actually finds some of those hidden gems like he's been known to do. Maybe he convinces John Henry to go out and spend on a guy who's worth the money. But I mean, right now, sitting at $155 million on your payroll. When, what, two teams up? We're at $209 million with the Jays? Yep, we're at $209 million. And then you go up to $287 million with the Yankees. Shouldn't be number one when we're sitting at $10 million. We should be spending in the $200 million range. We should probably be about $230 million. See, you'd think that, but I don't know. You do have a good market for it. The Blue Jays are a really interesting team this year. We obviously got to the wild card. We did not get very far. We lost to the, now, W Restored Twins. And now we're kind of in a little bit of a limbo here. So we re-signed a couple guys. We re-signed Kiermaier. And we got some other pieces. JT, who I wish we would have kept for the money that you paid him. Yeah, you guys, we didn't give him a whole lot of money. And we took him off your hands. He had a great year for you. So I hope he'll be able to slide in the third and DH a little bit for us. He'll be all right. It'd be cool to see him do something on another team, especially in our division, because maybe it lights a fire under our ass. Hopefully. And we got a lot of up-and-coming names. Hopefully, we'll be able to watch Vlad and Bo take even another step they have. They got to win MVPs at some point. That's what they've been hyped up to be. I'm super excited for Ricky Tiedemann, who's our left-handed pitcher. He's going to be our big pitcher of the future, hopefully. Our ace of the future. Lefty. There you go. He's going to be great. We have Irrelevance Martinez coming in. He should be in this year or next year. He should be really interesting to watch. He'll be in the infield, most likely. So he'll be our second baseman or our third. So we'll have to see how that goes. And maybe Kevin Beja will step it up. And maybe John Federick can keep the team together. Exactly. And solve our horrendous bullpen problems. Jordan Hicks walked. I'm not too mad about that. But still, this pitching staff could use some work. Alcmanova had the wheels fall off. Hopefully, he'll figure it out and put it back together. Well, who knows? If he did, that's a huge step up for you guys. But again, who knows? It's got to be nice to have a future, though, damn it. Yeah, it feels a little bit better, I assume, than the rest of us. I promise you, waking up hungover on a Sunday morning after going out is a lot better right now than watching. I would rather drink a bottle of vodka and, you know, blow whatever I can up my nose all night, wake up and sit in the middle of a fire pit than I would watch the Red Sox right now. That's how bad this team has gotten. The Red Sox have not been that fun to watch. You know, I would rather watch Saltburn three times over than be forced to watch a week worth of Sox games. Uh, here, let me... We'll do one more thought experiment before we head off. Right now, who's your pick to win the AL and the NL and give me a World Series guy? I love the Phillies. I really love what they've been doing. I think they're going to finally get over that hump. I think that they're going to come out of the AL. The Phillies? Yes. Out of the AL? Sorry, the NL, excuse me. I'm looking at a whole bunch of different teams on this list because it's separated by payroll and I'm confusing myself. I can't construct a thought. I like the Phillies. I like the Braves. The Braves are one of my favorite teams to watch right now. It's really good. RoCo is so fun to watch. It's kind of between both of them. No Dodgers with the addition of Shohei and all those signings they got. But yeah, and yeah, again, and then you bring the Dodgers into it, but... They're a juggernaut. They haven't been able to win. They've proven time and time again that they can't do it in the big moments. I mean, they got the bubble win. So right now, right... Yeah, yeah, exactly. The Mickey Mouse ring. But I think right now you got to look at the Phillies and the Braves. I really do. I think both those teams are great. The Braves adding Chris Sale is incredible assuming he stays healthy. But they don't even need him to stay healthy because he's going to be like a third guy in the lineup. Not even a third. He'll be their fourth. Yeah, you know. Schneider or uh, excuse me, uh... Strider. Strider. They have Fareed still. Yep. They have the... I'm forgetting his name right now. But they have that other kid. They have Kyle Wright. They have names. They now have Chris Sale. I think they're poised to shut teams down. And with great pitching and great offense, that's wins. Um, I really like those teams. The AL's tough, man. AL's always tough. It's definitely the more fun. Astros are always going to be there. I think the Rangers are going to be back in it after coming off the win. The Yankees adding Soto. Maybe that does it. Maybe it doesn't. And they also got, uh, what's his name? They got Marcus Strowman as well. Yep. They also pick up Rodrigo. So they made some moves. But again, it's the Yankees. You're not going to rub it in for the Yankees, are you? I'm never going to root for the Yankees. Um, yeah, I'm sitting here. The fact that the Angels are number 12, um, on payroll. Yeah, that they, they only have a million dollars less than us. And it's because they have, uh, uh, it looks like buried salary and a lot of retained salary or a decent amount. We actually have a lot more retained salary, to be honest. Yep. Um, that's, that's sorry. That's just a very annoying thing. Uh, I think the Blue Jays have a shot coming out of the AL this year. I appreciate it. I appreciate the sentiment. I think they do. I don't really know who else in the AL scares me. Uh, I can tell you one team off the bat. I'll, I'm going to tell you right now that I think the Dodgers, it's the Dodgers to lose in the NL. Yes. If Dodgers or the Braves or if the, the Phillies boogeyman comes out and maybe shakes something up, I feel like that's what you can see. Bryce Harper gets back to MVP form. Could. But there's a couple teams in the AL I want to talk about real fast before we end. It is the Orioles, who are just added Corbin Burns and their young core grows evermore. They, they can be something. Heston Kerstad. Yep. So many guys. They're going to be insane for years to come. I can't wait to watch them. Who knows if this year's the year that they make it to the World Series, but it. They're on their way last year. They could. With a guy like Corbin Burns, who knows? And you got the Blue Jays, of course, I'm going to say are going to win the World Series, but yeah, I mean, can't rule out the Astros. The Rangers as well. I'm going to, I'm really going to say I think it's the Rangers to lose here. You think so, again? In the AL. I think right, there's coming off, obviously, a World Series win. They're defending. They retained a lot of guys, not Montgomery, but I think they're going to be fine. I think they'll be able to figure it out. Evan Carter gets another year. I, I think they'll be fine. Scherzer's going to come back. Still old. Still old, but it's still Max Scherzer. True. I, I think the Rangers are going to be just fine. I think it's theirs to lose right now, and I think the Jays and the Orioles, Poise is one of the, some of the best to, you know, threaten them for that. Yep. But it's, it's going to be a fun race between the Phillies, Braves, Dodgers there. I think it's going to be really fun to watch, and one of those, two of those three teams are, you know, they're going to be in the NL Finals. Yep. I think so. And it's, it's going to be a thousand percent one of those three going to the World Series. Yep. And I, they, they'll be the heavy favorites if they go. Yep. Any, any, any one of those three teams. So I, I, I'm excited. It's going to be a fun year of baseball. We'll keep up with Fridge and see as we go along these next coming weeks. There's a few more pieces that need to find their homes, and we'll see where they go. Yep. Previous guys that we've mentioned, such as Schnell, Montgomery, are still looking for homes. Ballinger is one I'm a little surprised is not found at home. But I think we can talk a little bit more about those guys next week when we record, assuming they haven't signed. I don't think they will. Their markets seem to be very slow. So we will definitely bullet point those guys in there as kind of a cliffhanger. We'll tell you what we think about them. I think this has been a very good first episode. We talked about a lot. We did. I think we got a lot in. To those of you who do stumble upon this and start listening, thank you very much.
