"Edelweiss" is a show tune from the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music. It is named after the edelweiss (Leontopodium nivale), a white flower found high in the Alps. This piece is intended for a saxophone quartet (soprano saxophone, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and baritone saxophone).
