Astra, Knights of Veda is a game with a similar art style to Odin Sphere. It has a mix of Dark Souls and Odin Sphere aesthetics. The gameplay is slower paced and will be available on iPhone and Android. There will likely be multiple playable characters and a deep, integrated storyline. The game's art style is captivating and the gameplay is expected to have a complex combo and attack system. The player hopes there won't be heavy backtracking and that the game will have multiple routes and new stories. The characterization of the characters and bosses shown is impressive. The player is excited to play the game and wants to know if others are interested too. Astra, Knights of Veda. Hey you, I'm your player two and let's talk Astra, Knights of Veda. You may not have even seen this trailer at Gamescom, but I found it and it looks exactly like Odin Sphere with it's own amazing spin on... Hey you, I'm your player two and let's talk Knights of Veda. It has the great aesthetic mix of Odin Sphere and Dark Souls. Everyone just looks menacing, but also really pretty. Knights of Veda looks to be a slower paced action game that is also somehow coming out on iPhone and Android. It's so pretty, it's wild. It looks like you'll have multiple playable characters, so I'm pretty sure there's going to be some kind of gacha system or character unlock system, or maybe just multiple characters like in Odin Sphere. As well as a deep, unique, and integrated storyline because if they showed off, it just looks like there are a ton of people that we're going to have to take down and it looks like their stories are written all over their faces. Let me know if you're going to play... Let me know if you're going to play Astra... There we go. Let me know if you're going to play Astra, Knights of Veda in the comments below. Alright, so this game... Alright, so this game immediately reminded me of Odin Sphere, especially with the art aesthetic, and each time I see it, I'm going to play it because it's such a storybook style. Every time I see it, I'm going to want to play whatever it is because that storybook art style really just captures my attention and my imagination, and even though the gameplay looks slower, I think I'll still just basically enjoy it for what it is, and usually games that look like this have really deep and in-depth combo and attack systems, so even if the gameplay is slower, I'll at least have more to do in the game, which will make me want to keep playing it. Also, because it looks like a Souls-esque game, I'm expecting it to have that level of story depth, and even if it doesn't, then it'll at least have Odin Sphere level of story depth where you just learn more about the game the more you play it. The one thing I do hope they don't make us do is heavy backtracking. In Odin Sphere and in games in that same vein, going back and replaying stages over and over again is a part of the game. What makes it fun, though, is that each time you go after a certain point in the story, you'll unlock a new route, or you may find something new in those levels, so if we do have to backtrack, hopefully they copy those features so there are multiple routes, or there are new stories, or there are secret bosses and things like that, so when we play these games, it doesn't just feel like, oh no, I'm backtracking. One thing I will say is I like the characterization of some of the characters that I've seen so far, as well as, like I said, the bosses that were shown, or the characters that were shown, they're so stylized, it makes me story curious, which is very rare, so I'm excited to play this game and see what it has to offer. Let me know if you're going to play Knights of Astra, let me know if you're going to play Astra and Knights of Verda in the comments below. Peace.
