Begun in 2012, in China, the first movement was inspired by a wee bit of a catastrophic year, and the sudden need to move back to the States. The first measures reflect the turmoil and reaction to the tumult, and the movement evolves into reflection and the beginning of resolution . The title of the first movement, "Masks, and Embers'" rather speaks for itself, I think.....concerning our species tendency to hide our selves, and the fires we start......on that cheery note, I hope you enjoy.
