This podcast is about the Titanomachy.
The episode is about the Titanomachy, the war between the gods and the Titans. It began with Uranus and Gaia having many children who were cast down to Tartarus. Gaia planned to kill Uranus, and Kronos carried out the plan while Uranus was sleeping. The Titans then waged war against Zeus. After the war, the gods repaired the world and established a new government on Mount Olympus. Zeus eventually defeated the Titans, bringing temporary peace. However, the gods were always at war, either with themselves or other powers. The story ends with some confusion and the characters going their separate ways. Wait, this is about math. I know. Really, Milo? You're going to be joking the whole time, aren't you? Of course not the whole time. Just when it needs it. Okay, well how about we get on topic? Welcome back, everybody. Today's episode is The God's War with the Titans, also known as Titanomachy. In this episode, we'll be talking about, one, how it began, two, how it went, three, how it ended, and some things in between. In the beginning, Uranus and Gaia had their children. These two had many children together. Many of these children were cast down to Tartarus. Hey, yo! Anyway, Gaia was furious that her children were being thrown away. So, Gaia and her child Kronos planned to kill him. They planned to strike while he was sleeping. Gaia and Uranus lay in bed. Uranus peacefully sleeping, none the wiser to the immediate future. So Kronos snuck up on him while he was sleeping and... Whoa, that got dark really quickly. I think we can hold back on the deeds. It's what happened, though. I'm just stating facts. That doesn't matter. What if kids listen to this? Wait, kids shouldn't listen to this anyway. It's Greek mythology. You know, it would be nice if we could actually get back to the story here. Not my fault. Milo started it. I did not! Proceeding... The Titans were enraged by the killing of Kronos, and raged war against Zeus. I haven't even been talking for a minute. You're so boring. I really don't care. I thought we were getting back to the story. Oh my god. Whatever. Hopefully, with no further intrusions, someone, the war started, and the gods were frightened. I mean, they were just vomiting it out of their father's stomach, so I think I would be too. Lainey, please stop being annoying. I know it's in your nature, but... Excuse me? You heard me. Back to the story. For the fifth time. Indeed. Wait, why do I sound like an old man? Because you are. The story. There are a few main people in the Titanomachy, some of which being Hera, Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, and after the war, was mainly spent repairing the world from the war with the Titans, and setting down a new government, of sorts, on Mount Olympus. Oh, how tragic. What? I really don't know. She's just... Her... Hey! What? Can we get back? Zeus inevitably finished the war. His cunning and skill led to the downfall of the Titans. The world was now at peace, for a time. This would not last long, though, as the gods were always at war, whether it be with themselves, or with other foreign powers. The gods were very silly. Yeah, they were. Haha. Um. Oh. Okay. Is the story over? I... guess. You know, I'm done with this. I'm going home. I'm tired of nice stuff to do. Lainey, are you okay? Like, mentally? Hahaha. Um. Okay. Well, I think I should leave now. Bye? Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow.
