Nettie has opened a new laundromat with old and damaged units. She is turning on the lights and reflecting on how she ended up there. She mentions that the only person who can answer that question is her late mother, whom she plans to visit. Nettie has just opened the laundromat. She is in the process of turning on the lights in the sheet. Most of the units are quite old and banged up. Some of the lights flicker and struggle to turn on. As the voiceover is read, a slow shot of her walking down the row of washers and dryers is shown. Do you ever wonder to yourself, how on earth did I get here? I ask it all the time, and I still don't got an answer. The only woman who can tell you that is is buried in a cemetery outside of Richmond, Virginia. About time I pay my mama a visit.
