So today I'm going to be talking about some of my favorite other shows and podcasters who have really just consistently drawn me in as a listener for years now. And, yeah, I just think that there are so many elements to a podcast, especially when it comes to an episode that can draw listeners in and make their audience feel like they're really there with them. And I think that that's super important in the media sphere. So, yeah, we're going to start off with a recent episode from BFFs with Dave Portnoy, Brianna Chicken Fry, and Josh Richards. And, yeah, let's roll the clip. So that clip in specific I think is a great example of intimacy, just with the way that Dave's kicking off the podcast by saying, you know, hey, BFFs, he's making the audience feel like they're just friends in a conversation. And that's totally going to be bringing the listener in because they don't feel like they're kind of being talked at but more so being talked with. And I think that that conversational vibe that he brings to the show, but then, you know, that five-second clip is super important to recognize and for me as a creator to take pointers from. All right, so this next clip is going to be from Call Her Daddy. It's hosted by Alice Cooper who is at her podcast. She's also with Barstool. She's like the BFFs podcast. So this episode is a great example of relevancy and just engaging her guests and having good guests because this was released about I think a week after the Grammys and when Miley Cyrus won her first Grammy. And a lot of people noticed that it was only her mom and her sister. They're supporting her where her dad has played a huge role in her career, in her childhood career. And so this tactic that Alex utilizes by having these relevant guests and great guests on, especially within such a timely manner of the Grammys, is a very good move on her part. And yeah, I think that she's asking really important questions and she's getting straight to the point. She's asking the questions that everybody's wondering. Let's roll that clip. And last but not least, this is going to be a clip from Alex Earle's podcast, Hot Mess. Alex Earle has risen to fame in the past year and a half and is arguably probably one of the most famous people in the public eye right now. And this topic that she's speaking about, she's talking about her experience with an eating disorder. And her talking about this is very reflective of, you know, vulnerability and connecting with her audience. I think that this definitely not something easy to talk about, but it makes her feel a lot more human, especially as someone who seems to just be living the best life. I think it's really important that creators like Alex are honest about the things that they struggle with. And this is an extremely, extremely effective way to connect with your audience. And she's credible in her talking about this because it's something that she's experienced firsthand. So let's listen to that clip. Let's take a listen to that clip. I really hope you guys enjoyed listening to those clips as much as I did. I think it's so fun and interesting to listen to other creators and, you know, see what they're doing well. And I think that all three of these shows are such great examples of good forms of media and good podcasts and definitely inspiration for my podcast endeavors and my show and how I want to connect with my audience.
