So if you've seen Child's Play, it's basically, it is. It's Chucky from Child's Play and the continuation of his story. Like that's even after one, two, and three Child's Play and then all the other movies they did. Yeah. And this is kind of accumulates from that. And it's also kind of fun because it's like a lot of people from even the original like returned. Like people that have survived. Like Andy, the real, the original actor that played Andy is like all grown up and came back for the TV show. And his like, I think it was foster sister in the second one. She's like his teammate in crime. But then there's like a whole new slew of kids that he torments. Mostly teenagers. So, which makes it funny. Yeah. Yeah. Which is what the TV show is called. I, they probably just went, you know what? People know me as Chucky. No. Yes. I saw Child's, I think it was because I had three older brothers. I saw Child's Play probably way too early than I should have. And I was really afraid of it. But then it kind of became like a gag of my friend and I every Halloween. We would watch, like when we were teenagers, we'd watch the Chucky movies. Like the one, two, three. Not, we didn't really watch the other ones after that. I mean, number one takes itself very seriously. Yeah. Yeah. Like a doll. Yeah. My older brother told me my doll was the sister to Chucky and I was super afraid of it growing up. Yeah. Yeah. No. But the TV show is kind of fun because it's, it's silly. It doesn't, it's, it's like so un-serious. It's so un-serious, but it Yes. I mean, season three just came out. So season one was probably three, maybe three years ago. So not too long. Yeah. I don't know. Cause I feel like Child's Play is known enough for this to be like known that it's happening. And the fact that they went to season three, I'm like, they must have enough people watching it to have it still have two more seasons after season one. No. Yeah. Oh, but you knew about it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think, yeah, I think it's definitely got like a following for it. And that's like who's kind of watching it and the horror movie fans that are like really into it. No, I, I watched it first on, I just like rented the first season. Oh, not rented. I bought the first season on Amazon. Cause I think it was, I, someone messaged me and was like, Hey, there's a Chucky series. Cause I didn't even hear about it. And he knew, and he knew that I was a fan of Child's Play, like the movies. So I didn't have Shudder or whatever or Sci-Fi or whatever was on, but they had it. You could buy it on Amazon. It was. How'd you know? I did. And now you can watch it on, I think Peacock. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Until, yeah. of where I would rank the TV show. I would, I was, yeah, I was more of one, two and three. Like the, and then I, I know I've seen Bride of Chucky, but I don't think I've seen the other ones. I saw the remake, which has nothing to do with this whole series. Yeah. They actually, for a moment, make you feel bad because he's like, Oh, he was just a robot doll that went bad because of the, because he watched bad videos. Yeah. It's not Chucky. Yeah. The point is that, yeah, they could at least gone like he got like possessed by something on the internet or something, but no. Yeah. That just went bad. It's, it's, yeah, it's dumb. It's not even part of the universe. There's like a whole Chucky universe. Yeah. Yeah. And Chucky's camp, all camp. It's actually the TV series. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, you haven't seen one? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it was scary. Cause like now it's like, I watched the TV series. I'm not that scared of the doll. I'm scared of what he does, but I'm not as scared of him as I would in movie one and two. Like, I'm like, Oh, that's legitimately scary because it was about a little boy. And now it's like these grown adults that are just dealing with this tiny two foot something doll. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Cause one, two and three is he needs a new body and that's what he's fighting for the whole time, but not in the series. Like he has any, and what's hard with one and two, well two he realizes it has to be Andy for some reason. So that's why he's always been after Andy, except for then somehow it changes and they make some loophole in the third movie and he doesn't need Andy anymore, but yeah. But, but it's like crazy. Cause I compare, I don't know if he knew cause season two, I compare it to kind of like, you know how they have gremlins the first movie and then they made the sequel to gremlins and it was like, Oh, they're still around and this is still a problem. Well, like season two, yeah. Season two is like that cause there's more than one Chucky and they're all kind of like have their different characteristics. Sorry to spoil it without giving it away. Well, you kind of know if you've seen the last episode Yeah. Yeah. Cause it sets it up. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. It sets it up. Yeah. Yeah. In between. Yeah. Well, each, each season, the last episode is basically like a crazy, like so many things happened that they even made a joke in season two, like of the body count and like of the whole season, he does a body count like, Oh, how many people? And then you're like, cause I don't, if you watch the last episode, does he come, did you see the part where he comes in and talks to you at the very end? Like he's sitting by a fire. I don't know if they do it in the, I don't know, but like it might be after the, after the credits, but he has like, he's sitting by the fire and he tells you like, Oh, what a great season or something like that. And then there's a body count recap. Yeah. Oh, it's the same. Yes. And you actually get to, I don't want to, do you want me to spoil it? You get to see, you get to see him in season three, the actual guy that does the voice. Like he's not just, you don't just see him as just a doll. So it's kind of fun. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, he's made it a whole, it's like, if that's all he wanted to do, he could just be talking for the rest of his life. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Megan. Oh yeah. But she's like a robot. I've seen Megan. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. It's voodoo. Yeah. Yeah. And he's like, and it's a serial killer inside a doll. Yeah. Yeah. It's especially the first. Yeah. Yeah. Mm hmm. Yeah. Yeah. It's starting to be more of like, it's, it's creeping towards the more campy. Cause like one and two, yeah, obviously there's camp and Chucky, but like one and two for the, what it was takes itself kind of, it takes itself pretty seriously for a killer doll. Like events. School. Yeah. And he's grown up. He's probably like 16 or something supposed to be. Yeah. He's like, hasn't had to deal with them for probably like five years. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, there's like, it's crazy how much they like, where I had to like, cause you watch the show and it does a lot of stuff from all the movies. Like it could be a standard, like you can still watch it, enjoy it without watching the movies, but it definitely has like something from all, like if you haven't seen any of the movies, you'd be kind of like, who's this character? And why is Jennifer Tilly in this? Like, cause Jennifer Tilly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mhm. Yeah. Yes. And I already watched it. Well, it didn't just come out, but I've watched all of it. And that one, so season one, it's this Chucky at like regular neighborhood, right? And you get introduced to all the characters you're going to see, like the kids, the teens. And then season two, it's like at a Catholic school for like bad kids. And then season three, it's Chucky's at the white house. Yeah. Yeah. But it's like great. Cause it's like how, and now I'm like, well, I won't say how it ended because that, that, that is definitely a spoiler. But it's like, but for season, I'm like, what are they going to do for season four? He already went to the white house. Right. So it's like, and they make jokes like Chucky never dies. Like every season, like, and there's obviously only been three, but like they start off the season being like, yay, we did it. You know? And then like, like he even calls them on their phones, which is even funnier. Like he, he calls their cell phones. Mhm. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mhm. And yeah. Yeah. I, I just like, I think they somehow, cause he also says the most terrible things, but they justify it with the other people in the show being like, uh, no, no, that's not okay. Cause like he does say some stuff that you're like, whoa. And if they didn't have the other side characters to be like, no Chucky, like it wouldn't. Yeah. Yeah. It's inside a child toy that has little red hair and cute little overalls, but it's like each, I think what makes it great is like, cause uh, you know, like the, the original movies are great, but it's also like, they've made you care about other people. And I think, you know, you could go only go so far and one and two with like a little kid and then have it be like, all right, this poor little kid. But now it's like these teenagers and they, and Chucky and they all are fighting each other. Like they're even seeking him out to like, they're following him cause they want to end him. And he also knows that they're following him. So it becomes this cat mouse kind of in each season where it's like, he, he, Chucky can hold a grudge forever. Like he wants to take the teens out so bad, but he also wants to torment them before he even does it. Yeah. Yeah. Cause he could have killed all of them by now, but he's like, oh no, this is more fun. And I like, cause it's like a, cause Devon, is it Devon Sawa? He's in all of them, but plays a completely new character. Yeah. He's the brother, twin brother. Yeah. I want to see him. Yeah. He's a priest in the second one. And then the president. Oh. Oh. Mutant. Very. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't recognize him. Especially when he played the bad dad of the, like, well not the bad, like the, the alcoholic dad and then like the twin, but then when he was the twin brother, it was for some reason I noticed him more. I'm like, is this the same guy that played both parts? Yeah. But I do like how, like they all kind of, like the kids were kind of, didn't like each other in season one. And then now they're like all best friends cause they're all bonded over the trauma of Chucky. Yeah. You would think, right? She became good because, cause at first you think, I can't remember his name, but the kid that has Chucky at the beginning is going to go kind of bad because the doll is like leading him that way. And he really wants to kill the, he wants the girl to get killed. He actually gives her the doll to her little sister at first in the hopes that the doll was going to kill her. And then it kind of becomes this joke of like, you, you try to get me killed. He's like, I'm sorry. All the stuff that happens. Yeah. He's sorry. Yeah. It is very much, it is very much about his journey, but then it's also about like every, like, it's basically about all the teens in season one. Like obviously you're following Chucky, but it's all about like, I feel like season one is just introducing you to all the ones that we're going to be seeing for most of the time. And like, just know that parents are, the parents are always expendable throughout the whole series. I, the way they ended season three, there has to be one more. It could not end the way they ended it. Like, yeah. Ah, yes. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yes. I'm like, I'll be like, yeah. I don't know who's in it. Yeah, I wish she was in it. Mm-hmm. Ah, yes. Yes. No. I, I kind of liked the first episode because it felt a little more closer to the movies, the first episode. And, but then obviously, then obviously it just ramps up and gets crazy town. But the first episode, I, I liked the crazy. They do, and then they always throw in one episode that's like, almost like, where are we going? Or they throw in a random one with Jennifer Tilly. She always has a random episode where it's just like her. Yeah. And like her, her whole storyline is so confusing because she's not actually Jennifer Tilly. She's possessed by someone named Tiffany Valentine who wanted to be a movie star. So she possessed Jennifer Tilly. So Jennifer Tilly is not Jennifer Tilly. But then it becomes just this funny. Yeah. She's just, yeah. So, and her, and like, I'm still shocked because she's been in all the seasons and like her storyline just keeps getting more crazy. Yeah. And the doll, the doll comes back. The Chucky Bride doll comes back. Like, I liked episode one. I would say I liked episode one more than episode eight in the final finale. I just liked the whole, because it was like, oh, it's starting again. And yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it's gone. Yeah. Why is the kid so obsessed with the doll? It is a little odd because in most of the situations, there's a reason Chucky ends up somewhere. And this is the first time he's just kind of at a garage sale. Like, I don't know if his motive was to end up with that kid or not. Because usually he's like, he ends up somewhere because there's some family he wants to like get revenge on. And this is just a stranger. It seems like that. But he also has, he may be, and that's what, well, also he, the storyline you don't hear from just watching one and eight is like, he has to find someone who's willing, like an innocent who's willing to kill. So I think he thought, oh, this kid's already pretty, has a pretty tormented life. And like, he's more what he's like, he's more likely to kill someone. And it had to be someone like a young innocent. I don't know what the whole, I don't know if that's explained in one of the movies before the TV series. So it's like, well, maybe that's why. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know why. Like he's a kid. Because he's a little kid. Yeah. And now he loves being an adult. Like, because he can get away with so much. But he always, he always dies. And then he just comes back. So you, you can't kill Chuck. Yeah, you can't kill. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I had a doll, my brother's named my doll Chuckina. And when I was, it was my older brother, when I was sleeping, he would move it, he would move it to a different spot in my room. So I'd wake up and it'd be sitting in a new spot in the morning. And I'm gonna say, because I do like Maximum Overdrive, I mean, it's not a good movie, but I like it, so I'm gonna put that at a seven. But I would put Chucky the series at a ten. I would have rated it with Chucky the whole thing, but I'm like, I feel like it goes together. All the Chucky's. Twenty. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
