"Would You Care To Dance?" is one of the earliest songs I'll still own up to. After an early exit from OSU I logged 3 very footloose years. Tramping along RR tracks, sleeping in a tent in the friend of a friend of a friend's backyard in Oskaloosa. Tracking down Jack B, a former novice monk & his incredibly patient wife Ida, who were supposed to be in Denver, but weren't (WHAT!?!?). This song just feels like it's in touch with those times. Three-quarter time, slightly ragged vocals, accordion.
