Ed's Love Song

Ed was a real guy I used to work with. One day at the break table, he told me about the love of his life. How they hoped to open a kennel together. There had been a couple of car crashes. An ex-boyfriend-stalker was involved. It all felt a little doomed, but Ed told me everyone in the world misunderstood the girl except him. A little while later I wrote this song, because everyone gets a shot at true love, & maybe we've all felt this way sometime (at least a little bit).
