And coming through, I say, we're just going to jump over past each other 24 or 15 verse a week. And so we'll kind of cuddle that tonight, and then next week we will look at the second half of the speculation period. If you're writing your novel or whatever, you will find it at Mark verses 4 through verse 14. And we talked about that last week, if you remember, that it talks about it in the last days. And what we're talking about in the last days, according to the prequels into Jesus Christ's answer, the last days is actually from the time that we experience the event of the last last days, when the papers are going to be revealed and the signs are going to be the strongest, is referring to the first three and a half years of the speculation period. And it tells us in Matthew chapter 24 verse 5 that there is going to be a meeting and there's going to be claiming to be the Christ in the sea. That lines up with the first seal in Revelation chapter 6 and verse 2. Then it tells us in verse 6 of Matthew 24 that there's going to be wars and rumors of wars. And that lines up with the seventh seal in Revelation 6 verse 4, where it says it talks about famine, which is mentioned in the first seal. Death, in verse 6 and 7, that lines up with the fourth seal. The martyrs, in verse 9, that line up with the fifth seal. And then the earthquakes, in verse 14, that line up with Revelation 6, 12, through 17 in the sixth seal. Then we come to verse 15, which is what we're going to look at tonight, verse 15 through 20. It says, And so this passage is a six-passage scripture, and I wrote a lot in verse 15 and verse 21 in my Bible. And our heart is the mystery. This is right here. It's a middle of the speculation period. We'll look at that a little bit tonight. We've got to get a better understanding of that. But he says there's going to be an abomination of desolation. And so, when we talk about who is going to face the abomination of desolation, He sure grows up in everything. We've always heard of the Antichrist. That's who he's talking about. The Antichrist is the middle of the speculation period. He'll stand up and make this desolation his very potential. He's going to break the peace treaty that he has with Israel. And so, what does the Bible talk about this Antichrist? What will we know about this Antichrist? We saw that he actually comes over the scene in verse 1, the first seal. At the very beginning, when he makes peace, he signs the covenant. And then, how it passes, the other seals begin to open. But then we go to Daniel chapter 11. So then we see the characteristics of this Antichrist. Antichrist. In Daniel chapter 11, Ephesians verse 26, it says, "...that he shall live according to his will, and shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall see all the things that is the God of God, and shall prosper till he be mentioned by the accomplished, for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the knowledge of Solomon, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god, for he shall magnify himself above all. But even this day shall he honor the God of riches, and shall honor him not, shall he honor him with gold, and silver, and precious stones, and precious things. Thus shall he deal with the most strongholds with a strength God, whom he shall acknowledge in truth and glory, and he shall call Jerusalem over him, and shall provide the way for gain." And so we find several characteristics here about the Antichrist in these two verses. One thing we find out about the Antichrist, he says he's going to do the will. He's going to do what he wants to do. He will be an absolute dictator. He will answer to no one. It is his world, and he is the one to be in control. It also leads us here in the passage to Scripture that he will magnify himself above all these other gods with a little heat. And so you can just imagine that he studies the different gods and the different things that have been worshipped and presented. He goes through Roman mythology. He goes through Greek mythology. He looks at all of these gods. Antichrist is going to magnify himself. He is the greatest of all of them that is there. And in his doing so, he's also going to blaspheme the name of God. And so this is the god of the wicked. This is our God. This is Jehovah God. He is the one to blaspheme and heal. It says in the passage that he is the one to have no regard for persecution. You know, if he doesn't care about those misogynists, whether it's Jesus or Paul, their heritage has been there. None of these things does not control what they've done. It says in there that he will not regard any family or women. There's a lot of different speculations as to what he is talking about there. Some say that he's going to be a homosexual. I don't know that I've seen that in this passage to Scripture. With proper regard as a family or a woman. Others say that if he's just going to preoccupy himself with war, that he doesn't have any desire for all the family. I think that tends to be probably more about what they're talking about here. But others think that this is really a reference, a metaphor of Jesus Christ, which talks about the desire for a woman, which wasn't the desire for a woman. All the way from Genesis 3, verse 16, the desire for a woman was that she would work for the Messiah. That was every woman wanted to work for the Messiah. So as a not-regarding-any-woman in dealing with the tradition, there is some sensibility that this means that it is the desire of every curious woman to be the mother of the Messiah. I think other people want to consider that or take it in place. My idea is that the second one sounds to me pretty sobering, looking that if he's going to be so preoccupied with everything, the family and the home is not going to be all he is with. Many say that they will not regard any other God. Nobody is going to make him do anything. He will honor God as his own making. The God of the wishes. So he's going to create his own God and he's going to come out of all of this. So this is, for example, in Matthew 24, verse 15, that's the characteristic of the Man of Christ. And it says, This abomination of desolation is referring to the desecration of the temple of the Man of Christ. Now, when we receive quotes from Daniel, so really to understand what we're talking about, we need to go back and get the context of Daniel. And really, when you look at Daniel chapter 9, verse 24 through 27, this is literally the foundation to prophecy, the end-time prophecy. Because this gives us a timeline. This gives us a totality of the answer to one of these prayers of ours. Why is there even going to be a three-millimeter period in all of these things? So in chapter 9, verse 24, We kind of did this last week, but who was God's people? The Jews, the Israelites, the Hebrew people. You can call them by all the words if you want to. But that's His people. Now, where's their holy city? Jerusalem. And so, 70 weeks are determined for Israel and for Jerusalem, which is their holy city, their capital in Israel. And so, the 70 weeks is for them. It has absolutely nothing to do with the church. It is the fulfillment of the Old Testament and the covenant of relationship with God and His people. And then He says, To restore and build Jerusalem under the Messiah, the Prince, shall be seven weeks, and three, four, and two weeks. The street shall be built again, and a wall, even in troubled times. And after three, four, and two weeks shall the Messiah be cut off, but not burned still. And the people of the Prince, Shapho, shall restore the city and the sanctuary, and that in their oath shall they repay blood. And unto the end of the war, desolation shall be upon them. And he shall perform the covenant with me for one week, and for the rest of the week he shall call it a sacrifice, and the oasis of peace. And for the overstraining of the covenant, he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation. And that in turn shall be for the bones to desolate. And so, he goes through here and he gives us kind of this breakdown of what is this 70 weeks, and what are we talking about, and how in the world did we go from 70 weeks to getting a matriculation period that only is going to be seven years. How did we do that? So, if we look at this, we need to understand that this prophecy, the Daniel and the Ezekiel, gives this panoramic view of all of biblical prophecy. It is what the Jews, the Ezekiel and the Ezekiels, have come to find. The Jews are looking for their two millennial angels. They were looking from the time that God made a covenant for them, that God promised Abraham that he would be the father of each nation's right, that he would have control of the land. And then, he made a covenant with David that said that there would be one of the seed of David that would soon rule the throne of Israel, and there would be complete peace and everything during that time. Well, Abraham never given the land, but he didn't get all of it, because Judas came out and started doing all the fighting in our lives, and started making treaties with people and everybody else. So, they never fully acquired all the land. David, because of the sin with Bathsheba, immediately, the text of it took over. They ended up becoming a covenant. And this covenant, the Jews joined together with the kingdom, and the kingdom ended up going by the wayside in the activity of the Assyrians and the Babylonians. And so, they never had anyone that had held the whole entire kingdom and the whole entire world under his power and his control. Israel had never been a world-wide power. And so, that's the part of the covenant that they're meaningful. And so, that's what Daniel is talking about. So, this gives, this really describes both the first coming of Jesus Christ and the second coming of Jesus Christ. And so, it gives us a pinpoint as to the time of his life. And so, when we look at these three verses here, notice the interpretation. It talks about these sevens. And the term weeks in the Hebrew is actually the word seven. And so, that's what we get. A week is seven days. But it says week-squirrel. And so, seven-squirrel is what we're taught in literal Hebrew because it's translated. And so, that word out of the Hebrew language is where we get the term sevens. Now, here's the problem that we have to face in the interpretation. We've got to figure out what are these sevens. Do sevens mean sevens? So, we've got to figure out, are these sevens days? Are they weeks? Are they months? Are they years? What are these sevens? So, it says, seven weeks, sevens are problems. And so, we've got to figure out what this is. Now, how do we go about figuring out what this seven means? Well, all we're going to do is compare this scripture with the scripture. And so, when we start looking at this scripture, Daniel chapter 7, verse 25, it says, And he shall speak great words against the low tide, and he shall wear out the face of the low tide, And this is changing times and laws. And they shall be given in your hand until there's a time, and times, and the dividing of time. Now, we read of a thousand times and the dividing of time. When you do that, the thousand times and a half of the time, you come up with three and a half. And so, now we've got three and a half to start with. And so, this is a three and a half year period. This is a three and a half period of time. We don't know if it's three and a half days yet. We don't know if it's three and a half weeks. We don't know if it's three and a half years. So, we still have to look at the Lord's scripture. But we know that a thousand times and a thousand and a half is three and a half. So, then we go to Daniel chapter 12, verse 7. And it says, I heard a man go up into the desert, which was the home of water and of the river. When he healed up his right hand and his left hand, and that they should survive and live forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and a half. And when he hath accomplished his task of calling the holy people, all these things shall be finished. Now, when you look at this and you look at this passage of scripture, you come up with 1,260 days. And it is for a time, times, and a half time period. So, it's 1,260 days. When you break that down, three and a half years is 360 days each. This is a prophetic year. 360 days to a year. Then you go to Revelation chapter 11. And it says, But the court, which is without the temporal rebound, hath given unto the Gentiles, and the holy city shall be filled up with forty-and-two months. Now, forty-two months equals three and a half years when you do the math. And so, that's how we get this week of seven, that's actually seven years, period. And so, when we conclude that this week refers to years, then we go back to Daniel chapter 9, verse 27, and then we try to make the demolition and the desolation between three and a half weeks, or three and a half years, into the week that we have, the seventh week, January the week that is there, which is a period of 1,260 days, and then half of a time for forty-two months. So, here's the show-off. Here's what's going on. It says, Then he went to the covenant of Abihu and the holy city, and there was one who finished the transgressions. Literally, it means to restrain firmly the transgressions. In other words, it's the Zediel and Isaiah that talk about when Jesus tried to rule, he ruled with a lot of iron, and for a lot of iron, he's going to control sin and transgressions. And they don't want to be messed up. He talks about during that millennial kingdom that even the kids could run into snake demons. The lion laid down with the lamb. In other words, there's a result of transgressions, and then it's going to be completely restrained. It's not going to be out there in that sense. One day it's going to be fully restrained. And then number two, they begin to deal with sins. Society deals with sins. As a general dealing with it, and as individuals dealing with it. Number three, you have reconciliations or inequalities. Reconciliation is a word that means to atone or to cover. Christ's atoning work was on the cross of Calvary. And so, this is a person whose Christ is in charge of atoning. He took care of that. But what happened? How do you get this atoning? You have to repent of your sins and believe, right? And so, those that do that, guess what? They're making their sins as a cure. Those who haven't are still going to face judgment and coming to that as their. The fourth thing that he needs to do is to bring in everlasting righteousness. An eternal state of righteousness. Remember, righteousness is holiness. It's bringing in this eternal state of righteousness. Number five, instill us obedience and prophecy. All obedience and prophecy, at the end of the tribulation, there is no more healing of the morality of what we've already taken care of. There won't be no more prophecy after that or no more obedience. Number six, to anoint the Lord holy. This is the establishment of the eternal kingdom of God that is ready. So, listen to how this is taught. He knows this in Daniel chapter 9, verse 24. Here's what the prophetic timeline. No one foreknows the chance that from the going forth of the commandment to the shore and the filtering flow unto the Messiah, the Prince, shall be seven weeks and three-fourths is 62 weeks. Three-fourths is 20, but we've got three of them is 62 weeks, so there's a seven week and then there's a 62 week. The three shall be open hand and a wall even in troublesome times. Now, what is the commandment to go forth and pursue the shore to Jerusalem? When you start this walk, when you start painting, there's three different starting points in the scriptures that you can take. In Ezra chapter 1, verse 1, there's a critical desire for them to go back into the field. It says, "...and to send out the first-year Messiah to Capernaum, the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, hiding in the field, before the service of the spirit of the Messiah to Capernaum, that he may have proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put also in writing, saying, God sent Messiah to Capernaum, the word of the Lord, that he hath appeared in all the hills of the earth, and he hath caused me to build him a house in Jerusalem which is in Judah, who is there among you of all his people, his God in Israel, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build a house of the Lord God of Israel. He is the God which is in Jerusalem, and whosoever remains in these places of Jerusalem let him enter his place sheltered with silver, with gold, with goods, with beasts, beside the three-robed offering from the house of God that is in Jerusalem." Now, this decree, when you read it, only refers to the rebuilding of the people. It doesn't refer to the walls of Jerusalem. And so, with that in mind, that I will imitate the first decree. The second decree comes from our passage in John 58 B.C., in Exodus chapter 7, verse 11, and we're not going to read all of this, but we'll read the first couple of verses. It says, Now this is the document of the weather that the king of our taxes, Nebuchadnezzar, was a priest, a scribe, he was a scribe of the word of the commandment of the Lord, and his deputy, the king of Israel, our tax-executive, Nebuchadnezzar, was an expert priest, a scribe of the law of God, and a perfect priest. And at such a time I make the decree that all the people of Israel and the priests and Levites in Babylon will be reminded of their own free will and go up in Jerusalem, go with them to a place where much power can be seen of them who are concerned in Jerusalem according to the law of God which is in the land. You go down through there, and this one only refers to the building of the walls of Jerusalem. They go to the floor about Jerusalem, and then they go to the other place, which is in Israel, about the people. And so then the last decree in 445 B.C. is that all the people of Israel will be reminded of their own free will and go up in Jerusalem to a place where much power can be seen of them who are concerned in Jerusalem according to the law of God which is in the land. You go down through there, and this one only refers to the building of the walls of Jerusalem.
