The lizard brain is always going to nudge you towards the bad choice so it's simple if you kill the lizard brain there isn't going to be a nudge to go towards the bad choice the nudge is going to be of you just wanting to do the good choice and one of the ways you can kill your lizard brain is being mindful and present to the point where whenever a decision comes up where it's to do the good habit or the bad habits you are present enough to tell the lizard brain to fuck off and you go do the good habits it's as simple as that. Being more actionable is just as simple as killing your lizard brain and doing the good deeds and i'll explain to you how you kill your lizard brain start meditating be more mindful just whenever a bad thing comes along have the willpower be strong enough to be like or have the ability to decide do i actually have anything better to do than going out and partying with my friends if you do have something better to do you have to be like nah i'm a CEO go do the hard work tip number two having a plan having a game plan so i know i say a lot of things about you know people making plans and never achieving them but the reason why people make plans and actually never achieve them is because they go about making plans wrongly and i'm gonna give you a simple formula and the formula is progress is gotten from i don't know if i don't call this formula but progress is gotten from having a plan and taking action it's as simple as that so now that i've told you how to you know be more actionable literally by killing your um your lizard brain now i'm gonna tell you how you make a plan and it's literally not that hard something very very simple to do sit down alone by yourself in the room pick three things or five things but it shouldn't be like 10 things three five should be a good number because you're honestly not strong enough to achieve 10 things that you want to do but pick five things that you want to do for the year five things that are very very important to you that your life physically depends on these things that's how important it should be for you and when you have those three or five things and you have your goals i mean you have your you know your ability to take action you are going to make progress because if it's very very important the key word there is important if that goal is as important as you say it is you're gonna stick by it you get me it all boils back to the um so i told you the first time if the goal is as important as you say it is you're gonna achieve those goals so basically progress is the is progress is basically um having a plan times being actionable or taking action that's what progress is and then tip number three tip number three is surround yourself with people who are as ambitious as you now there are two main reasons why you should surround yourself with people who are as ambitious as you reason number one is if you surround yourself with any other thing other than people who are as ambitious as you you're gonna lose out bro bad apple bad apple bad apple bad apple bad apple bad apple bad apple with any other thing other than people who are as ambitious as you you're gonna lose out bro bad apples corrupt good apples bad eggs corrupt make the good eggs go bad if you have if you still hang around your old friends who just want to live the good life and who actually don't have anything important that they want to achieve you're going to get dragged back into those that kind of lifestyle so what you do or how you or how you avoid this it's actually not even that hard if you tell them no enough time they're not going to come knocking at your door anymore literally that's just how it is if you tell your bad friends no or if you tell no say no to the bad habits maybe if they're going to hang out at a cafe and chat up you could go but if they're going to party get drunk get high just say no i'm not going to be there if you're going to be there you just have the willpower that's the issue now are you going to have the willpower to be like nah i ain't going i'm not going to smoke or i'm not going to drink that's the thing if you can have the willpower to do that you can go there you can have a good time you can speak to these people but if you won't have the willpower to do that just stay at home and be like no if you tell them no enough times you're going to stop that's just how it is and the good thing also and the second tip or the second reason why you should surround yourself with people who are as ambitious as you is that when you start to fall back because it happens it always happens it doesn't even need to be an outside force sometimes as humans we just get tired we get exhausted but the problem is when you is when you get exhausted and you let that exhaustion drag you away from your goals when you have other people who are as ambitious as you or who just you know you just want to achieve a goal as much as you want to achieve a goal when you get tired and you're resting up and you're you know trying to you know backslide when you see every other person around you also pushing as hard to achieve their goals you're going to want to get back up and achieve your goals it's that simple now these three tips are like tips that i found that would help anybody no matter how advanced or even if you're just a beginner in self-improvement if you understand these three tips and you apply them taking action and actually achieving your goals won't be a
