Nothing to say, yet
The conversation revolves around the considerations people make when choosing where to live, such as crime rates and personal preferences. The focus shifts to Russell Wilson and Sierra's differing views on where to live. Sierra prioritizes her family, avoiding certain places due to crime, and wanting to enjoy her home life. Russell, on the other hand, wants to build his legacy and prioritize his own enjoyment. The conversation then touches on the dynamics between Russell, Sierra, and Future (Sierra's ex) regarding their child, Future. The hosts discuss the role of the stepdad, the appropriate way to guide children's aspirations, and the differences between education and rap culture. The conversation concludes with the challenges of maintaining peace in a household and the potential financial implications of their decisions. And we're back right here on the unemployment line, Doc and Larry P. talking about Russ, Sierra, life. Here's what I want to talk about, Larry. When you think about where you want to live, right, in relation to your relationship. Crime. Like, what are the things that you take into consideration? Crime. Crime. So you want to live someplace with low crime, I'm assuming? Yeah. Yeah. Once upon a time, I wanted to move to Houston. And check the crime rate? Well, no, I didn't check the crime rate. I visited Houston. And while I was in Houston, a guy got shot in the face. There was a serial killer in the loose. And, yeah, I think that was enough for those three days that I was there. And I was like, Houston is a crazy place. So it's a lot of things people factor into their decision making on where they're going to live. Like, some people, it's proximity to family. Some people, like, they want to live in the city. Some people want to live in the suburbs. Some people want to live in a rural area. Some people care about the schools. Some people care about where they work. But I've noticed that with men, job, how I provide, is priority. For women, that is not necessarily a priority. They want to enjoy their home life. It's hard to enjoy your home life in places that either you don't enjoy or cause you stress. I feel like for somebody like Russell Wilson, I think he could do very well living in Atlanta. Now, you as a Falcons fan may feel like, man, we don't want him here. But that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about him because he ain't worried about money now. He got plenty of money. So now he's thinking about, all right, where can I go and, you know, build my legacy up until I retire? Where can I enjoy myself? And maybe we'll move someplace else later. Sierra views that as, man, it's my family here. I don't want to be around them. My baby daddy here. I don't want to be around him. Crime. Like, I don't want to be around here. Why can't we go someplace nice like in New York or someplace else where maybe you won't start? Maybe we go to Los Angeles and you just don't do as well in your career. Like, she might be throwing things like that because I think that's how he ended up in Denver in the first place. No, I think that bag got up in Denver. Oh, the bag got up in Denver. So and that's another thing. I've made sacrifices for you. Now it's time for you to make sacrifices for me. Maybe you're not going to be, you know, you're not going to be the CEO anymore. Do you think that's OK? You think Little Future be calling Russell Wilson, dad? Yes. Hey, dad. And I think he called his daddy future. At the parent teacher conference. Hey, this is my mom. This is my dad. And this is future. Yeah. I want all of y'all to see my report card. This is future future. Why are you here, sir? Well, actually, I'm his dad. Well, well, well, well, slow down on the dad talk. Russell Wilson said that he was he was he had baby future in his hand when he was a baby. Here's my question. How old is that kid? They've been dating that long. I'm fortunate enough tonight. Yeah. They've been together a while. But my question is, as the dad in that situation, like, are you? Is it wrong for you to have beef with the stepdaddy? Can he be hated? But he mostly be hating on Sierra. You don't really say a whole bunch about Russ, but you can tell you don't like him. You can only hate the stepdad in that situation if you are actually providing as the dad. But what if you are given the mama got custody and he's with him more? Yeah, you can be. You can be. And also it's a situation of. But it was like a few years ago, like a little baby future had a birthday. And I don't know what Russell got him, but it was something like very child appropriate. And future got him a watch. Like a Rolex or something like a grown man type of watch. He gave this to like a elementary age child. And it was just like, maybe you don't know how to be a father in that way. He just used to, you know, I work. I make money. That's why I do. I'm in these streets. And Russ is more caring and nurturing. And the child appreciates that. Like, is it wrong? Like, what? What is the beef to have with Russ in that situation? Well, it's also two different perspectives. You got a street perspective versus a non street perspective. Like that watch means something to somebody that wants to be on the streets. But this is also a child. Even if it's a child with that street mentality like you like, yeah, look at this watch. I got, look at this. At what age do you feel like it would be appropriate for a child to develop a street mentality? I mean, if in the city of Atlanta, the age of six. You feel like it's like first graders out here like, hey man, I gotta hustle. I gotta make a move. Yeah. That's how they are. They don't know how to read yet. They don't, but they know how to rap. I kid you not. I kid you not, bruh. Them kids in Atlanta are different, bruh. I don't know. Listen, man. I don't know nothing about this addition, subtraction you're talking about. What I can tell you is. I count my money up. Get my cheese and I got it full. And I get the opps. Get the B's and I got it though. I ain't gonna be. I can't do it and I got it full. I got the B's and A's but I got it though. That's what them kids be doing. Hey, right there in the middle of class. Yeah. That's what them kids be doing. Yeah. Thanks. Thanks. Little syrup. But what I need you to do. Is write your name on this paper. That's what I need you to do. That's the only issue with like the. The black Mecca and the. And trap music. Holy grounds. It's like a lot of those kids be like, oh, you know, education. I'm gonna be a rapper. Like what is the appropriate way to guide that as an adult? Because rather. Rather. Rather you live in that situation or not. We black. And so, you know, that's what kids gonna be talking about. They don't come up saying things like I want to be a rapper. I used to say I want to be a rapper when I was a kid. Well, my auntie used to tell my cousin. You doing all that rap and you better start rapping in multiplications. And. My cousin grew up to be a rapper. I really want. I feel like I hope that our generation doesn't adopt those practices. I really want us to not say things like. I hope you know, you'll probably say, I hope you know your lesson. Like, you know, them lyrics. Why? Why? Lessons and lyrics are two different things. It's completely. You talking about social studies and I'm sitting here talking about the hot boys. That's two different things. Two different things. And me memorizing the schoolwork. Ain't going ain't going to slap as well as a Manny Fresh beat. Yeah. I'm just saying, bro. Newton's theory of motion ain't hitting like I like him hot. I know them know how to stop. Maybe. Maybe. Yes. Maybe if chemistry slap slap like that. Yeah. I would have less questions about it. They told me how to get my role on in science. Then I might I might be able to. To know this book a little bit better. But it don't. It don't. It don't. It don't hit like that. And so my thing is. So one of the things that often comes up with Sierra is the transition from my young wild and fun days to my respectable mom and wife days. She's in a different. She's in a different place right now. But she's also in a place where she brought a child with her to this situation, which a lot of women do end up in a situation where, you know, you know, you dated the fun guy. How much say how much say. OK, let's look at it this way. If Russ is the breadwinner. The seat Sierra having a kid. Having a kid. Give her equal. Buying power. But see, here's the thing. Independent of that. This is your wife now. Yeah. So we talked about this a little bit during the break. It don't matter how much you make. You can be the breadwinner. You can breadwin all you want. You need chicken little putting the seeds in the pan, throwing it in the oven. Nobody helping you. And you bring the bread out. If your wife look at you and say, I want half of that bread, she gets half of that bread. So it don't matter. And I think Sierra's a little bit different because she doesn't like she broke. Like she comes into the situation with like some level of leverage. So even if they got a prenup, which I don't know if they do or not, she she could walk away and be fine. The problem is. Kids are not. He wants to maintain peace in this household. You got to maintain peace in your household. And if your wife really don't like something, really don't like it. What can you really do? Like, let's say he really want to go to Pittsburgh. And she's sitting there like, ain't nothing cracking for me in Pittsburgh. I can't live in Pittsburgh. What am I supposed to do in Pittsburgh? I don't got no friends in Pittsburgh. Ain't no clubs I like to go to in Pittsburgh. None of the restaurants I like to go to in Pittsburgh. But he think it's himself. I would really be happy in Pittsburgh. Private jets. Now you have to start spending that money. That's an option. You don't think they should fall on you as the man. You don't think they're spending their money now in Colorado? No matter what. He went. Oh, they spent. Oh, he bought her a house. He went and he went and he went and rented out a whole waffle house. But did you. We talked about it on throw up tackle, but he bought a very expensive home for them in Colorado. Yeah. And they probably keep that home. Oh, yeah. Well, they probably sell it. Yeah. They might sell it. What you trying to keep property in Colorado for? You never know. You ain't coming back. Sierra ain't coming back. Denver's a hot place. Unless she skis. And you don't know if she do that or not. She probably do a whole bunch of stuff now in Russell Wilson she wasn't doing with future. I can see her skiing. She probably do. She's become accustomed to a lifestyle. So now that you accustomed to a lifestyle, you don't want to have a drop in that lifestyle. She can't live her Colorado life in Pittsburgh. She can do it in New York. She can't do it in Pittsburgh. Ain't cracking like that in Pittsburgh. She can't do it in Minnesota. She can do it in Minnesota. She can't do it in Minnesota. Twin City. She can't do it. I'm trying to think of plate random places that might want a quarterback. Tennessee. Is it Memphis or where is that? Tennessee. They are in. Don't give me the line. I want to say Nashville. I think it's Nashville. Sierra ain't trying to. That's the music capital. She can't live her best life in Nashville. She can be out there Dolly Parton it up. She ain't trying to Dolly Parton it up. You don't want to be a real housewife. She can be a real housewife and she can kind of live a very nice upper suburban lifestyle. That's what she that's what she's trying to do. She can do it in Tennessee. She can't do that. So who's hanging out with who else? Tennessee close to Atlanta. Come holler. She ain't trying to be in Atlanta because her baby daddy is over there. And nobody can get free on a mother. You can get a friend to come and she don't got a regular baby daddy. She got the type of baby daddy that a sinner like random message is like. Hey, I'm coming to pick the boys up. They're going to be ready by three. Yeah, I'm gonna have them ready by three. Hey, I appreciate you responding to me. You know, I was thinking, you know, man, we used to have some good times together in it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Hendricks. We did. Why not have a conversation? We pick the boys up. Oh, he going to try to have a. Hey, hey, hey, you man. You man. No, no. He's not here. Hey, he's not here. Let me ask you a question. You happy? Yeah. I mean, not before people really. He not asking that question no more. He he. He not asking that question no more. Oh, he still is. No, he not. Because, you know, he is. He not asking that question no more. Larry, you talk. No, you can hear it in his music, but you can hear it in his music. In his music, he used to say stuff like, I'm gonna get my girl back. I know it for sure. That was years ago. He ain't saying stuff like that no more. I'm telling you right now, as two men who have been toxic before. Are you saying I was toxic? I'm admitting to my own toxicity. You was trying to throw me into that. You have admitted to your own toxicity previously on this show. Not today. Larry P., have you ever been a toxic man in a relationship? Finish your statement. Have you ever been a toxic man? I just want you to finish your statement. I'm just asking you a question. Yeah, though, that's not part of your statement. I'm just asking you a question. Have you been toxic before? I didn't like how you threw me into two toxic men on the show. Sorry. I was a previously toxic man. There you go. Sitting here on the show with another guy who don't want to say how he was living his own life. I'm telling you, it don't matter the timeline. Every once in a while, you gonna pop up at your baby mama's house and be like, he ain't hitting it like I used to hit it. You can tell me. You can tell me. I know. I know. They said if it's three, it feel like eight because they in love. I'm just telling you. He going to be and now he has more opportunities to do that. But that's why you can't. So that's not an option. I'm just saying he might be hitting it better just because she in love. When we come back. I don't know what we're going to talk about, but we will build upon that. That's down the plumbing line.
