The person speaking doesn't go out much, but they've noticed that their flatmates and classmates are going out frequently. They mention that Prism, a popular spot for young students, shut down. The person works at a bar on the Otley Run and has noticed that the runs have been smaller and less intense, lasting only 2-3 hours instead of the usual 4-5. They think that going out has declined a lot. Personally, I don't really go out much, but the people who surround me, like my flatmates and people on my course, seem to be going out quite frequently, so I don't really think it's declining that much. I definitely would somewhat agree with that because, obviously, Prism shut down, that was a really big place for a lot of the young students to go, a lot of the freshers and people just turning 18 would go. I work in Skyhack myself, which is one of the Otley Run bars, and I've noticed as well that a lot of the Otley Runs have been smaller and less intense. It normally lasts 4-5 hours of a rush of Otley Run, constantly serving, and now it's like 2-3 hours max, it's just reducing. It could be due to the time of month or what it is, but yeah, I definitely think at this point it's lowered a lot.
