Pneumonia is a disease that can affect anyone, regardless of age, race, or gender. It can be spread through simple interactions like hugging or touching. Children and people over 65 are more at risk. There are vaccines, but we need stronger ones and more awareness. Pneumonia has been around since 460 BC and affects rural areas more. We can make a difference by speaking up and improving our healthcare and education. What does anyone think when they don't wash their hands or they cough into their arms in huge crowds? Especially since COVID-19, us as people have become a little more knowledgeable about what coughing and sneezing can make surrounding people think. I for one think of all the crazy diseases that we can catch from one another now, pneumonia being one of them. That's the topic for today. For those who may not know what this disease is, pneumonia is one of the many diseases that can affect any and everyone regardless of the age, race, and even gender. This disease is considered complex due to it being such a broad disease. People can get this disease by simple interactions such as hugging, touching of any sort, or even being in the same proximity of someone else who could have the early stages of pneumonia and just don't know it yet. Our goal today is to talk about the many issues revolving around this disease and what we as people can do to help lower the chances of catching this. This disease tends to affect children and people over the age of 65 more than any other age range. Currently there are vaccines made for this disease, however, we do hope to have a stronger level of vaccine created in the near future as well as encouraging more people to be more vocal about this issue. Pneumonia was first created in 460 BC and has been here ever since. This disease is known to affect rural areas more compared to other countries or areas. Due to poor indoor quality, restricted access to health care, and our very inadequate level of education, with people being more vocal on issues of today, our voices do make a difference. What better way to affect our generation than a better way for our health?
