This is a personal piece i made. I wanted to somehow capture the nostalgic and light-hearted feeling of a blooming romance in spring. A time of new beginnings and hope. The main instruments (a flute and oboe) are meant to represent a couple, how they are played and harmonized is meant to show the dynamic between two people and how it can create something beautiful. But it's a memory, so even though the 2 instruments started off together they end up playing the main motif separately.
