I am super pumped for this Monday's Minute with Marci. Great news to share and some excellent tips here that have me highly motivated, and I hope it provides motivation and good news back to you as well. So, the first thing I want to hop into, actually, that's got me all excited here is the February housing stats. I pulled the last seven days of stats, as I always do for us, and looking at Brown County, Wisconsin, residential, and condo market, new listings are up, you guys. We're at 31 new listings for the last week, and here's a stat that I thought would get everybody else super pumped up like I am. I thought, hey, let's take a look and see how Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group is comparing to the rest of the market on the seven days of listings. What percentage of the market share do we have? And everyone, drum roll, please, 29%. You heard that right. This office has 29% of the market share of the last seven days. Let's keep that positive momentum going. I absolutely love that. Keep those listing appointments going. Keep those forward calls going. That is such good news to see in here, and I cannot wait to see what the end of the month stats show as well. All right, let's get into it. Four listings expired in the last week. Ten have gone under contract or pending, and 22 closed. Now, here's another wild stat for the closed. Average sold price was $412,940. That's significantly up. There was an outlier that closed this week, though, of just over $2 million. Congratulations to Zoe Van Ost for that closing. So, the median sold price, I thought, was a little bit more on target for our market of 319.9 this week, with an average of, and this is a number that's ticking up, and I think that's a good sign to see, of 63 days on the market for our closed properties. All right, you guys, those are some phenomenal stats. As you know, the graphics are already attached. Feel free to use in the way that you see fit. All the information is pulled from the RANW MLS. So, as you know, we're kind of, we're wrapping up in the last two weeks here our forward call challenge, and forward calls are reaching out to your sphere of influence and checking in, seeing how people are doing. The calls are about them, not about you, and we're using the acronym FORD, Family Occupation Recreation Dream, to guide those phone calls. So, if you haven't made a forward call yet, here's some tips to maybe help you reframe that thought process on it, and for me, I hope this helps, because this helps me get out of my own way as well. So, when it comes to public speaking, making those calls, putting yourself in a vulnerable position in front of others, the first thing we have to do is look at reframing rejection. If you're nervous before you talk, ask yourself, what is the worst thing that can happen? Reality is, we're probably much more focused on ourselves than we are on the audience, the person we're going to be talking to, and you're allowing the fear of rejection to overtake your thinking. Consider there might be people in the audience who are thrilled to hear you and hear from you and apply your message. So, remember, when we are forward calling, we are gifting. So, second, let's serve the audience. Again, when you're making those forward calls, it's about them, not about us. We notice that when we focus on the impact of just one person, we can, I am freed up to serve the audience with your message rather than focusing on yourself. So, this is going more into public speaking specifically, but I believe serving the person you're calling, asking about them and making it about them will help us make sure that we're providing the value that we're looking at. Second thing is value sells, right? The more value you add, the more opportunities you will receive to add value. It's simple, law of attraction. Do you believe in the value and experience you are providing for others? If not, let's start to define what that looks like. And then, lastly, my tip, just try it. Just do it. Experiment. Try it. Tweak it. Make it better. And overall, I think it's a positive experience. Ask your peers how they've done with it, and almost all of them could tell you a very positive story. All right, you guys.
