So, even though jobs may sometimes feel like a jail, starting a fire is not the way to gain freedom. This is today's fun fact on Gold Country Radio. Klamath Country Mornings on Gold Country Radio. I'm Mike. Time for today's fun fact. Well, you know, we all have felt that familiar twinge, that desire to leave work and we get stuck there and we can't. We feel like we're prisoners at our jobs. Well, there was a civilian employee that was working on the nuclear submarine USS Miami one time. It was docked in the naval shipyard and he started a fire. Now, when asked why he started the fire, he admitted he wanted to go home. He wanted to leave work early. What turned out for him was he got 17 years in federal prison and he had to pay four hundred million dollars in damages. So, yeah, though jobs might feel like a jail occasionally, that's definitely not the way to gain your freedom apparently. There's your fun fact of the day on Gold Country Radio.
