Hello everyone, my name is Christina and my focus of my podcast today is Universal Design of Learning. When it makes sense, it makes sense guys. I'm going to let you know that. Multiple types of representation in the contrast of podcasts refers to the process of adapting the content to meet the various demands and preferences of the listeners. This method complies with the universal design of learning principles which seek to ensure the educational materials are usable by all individuals irrespectful in the respective of their learning styles and their abilities. A principle of universal learning framework is many modes of representation. It relates to the notion that material needed to be delivered in a variety of ways to accommodate the different learning preferences and capacities. This could be listen to this guys, it could be in visual word which means that the kids get to see what it is that they are looking at. It can be in written word, audio, video or interactive activities. A teacher may give a verbal explanation of a concept, follow it up with a video and then assign an exercise. This method guarantees that all students can access the materials irregardless of their personal learning styles and any potential limitations. Along with considering audio and video components, it is important to include printed transcripts and easily accessible show of notes which could be a graphic organizer. For those who are hard of hearing or deaf, transcripts offer a text-based version of the information. For those who like to read or need to be read a subject, they also provide alternative format, NOAA 2023. So pretty much that is saying that no matter what the learning preferences are, styles and accessibilities, it might access information and engage each individual effectively. Ultimately, it enhances the podcasting experience and making it accessible to all listeners. So with that being said, like every kid needs something different.
