It could be a beach, a forest, a park. Get a clear picture of this place in your mind. Look around this place. What do you see? Think about the colors. Think about the shapes. Think about what plants or animals that you might see around you. Now, notice the ground beneath you. Is it sandy? Grassy? Made of soil? How does it feel? Is it hard? Is it soft? Take a deep breath in through your nose. What does the air smell like here? Maybe you smell flowers. Maybe some trees. Maybe some woods. Could be the ocean. Listen closely. What sounds do you hear? Can you hear birds? Can you hear the wind rustling in the leaves? Are the waves crashing? Look up at the sky. What color is it? Are there clouds? What shapes do the clouds make? Now, imagine a beautiful rainbow arching across the sky. Picture the bright colors. Red. Orange. Yellow. Green. Blue. Indigo. Violet. As you breathe in, breathe in the color red. And feel it filling your body with warmth and energy. Breathe out red and breathe in orange. Feeling refreshed and calm. Breathe out orange and breathe in yellow. Feeling happiness fill you up from your toes to the top of your head. Breathe out yellow and breathe in green. And feel peace take over every possible place. Breathe out green and breathe in blue. Feeling a sense of tranquility, of peace, calmness. Breathe out blue and breathe in indigo. A feeling of confidence. Breathe out indigo and breathe in violet. Imagine creativity filling your entire being. Now it's time to leave your special place. Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes, keeping your eyes closed. Stretch your arms up over your head. Lean your head from side to side. When you're ready, open your eyes and give your body a big stretch. Any time you need a break, imagine this special place and these colors with those feelings.
